Let me preface by saying I live in New Jersey where most car washes are hand wash and you can get your car interior and exterior cleaned for about $23 average. I was in the area for the weekend and wanted to have my car cleaned, mainly vacuumed bc I traveled with my dogs. This place appeared to be a real full service car wash business because there is about 20 employees standing outside appearing to be hard at work. The line to get in was super long, but I really wanted my car vacuumed. By the time I get to the first employee to select the service and pay, there is about 10 cars lined up behind me. I tell the lady I wanted whatever was the best service. She starts to try to sell me on some package. I tell her I don't live here and want the best service available today. She proceeds to ask me how long I'm in town and that the package makes more sense blah blah. I tell her no thank you, I just really need my car vacuumed. That's when I found out they don't do interiors. I asked her if there's any way I can leave and she tells me no, that they'd have to back me out and there's too many people. Side note: I later realize that they could've let me out on the right side if any of the employees that were just standing around would be willing to move a cone. The attendant told me I could vacuum the car myself at the end. I was offered no other options, but to go through the car wash that cost $30. Throughout the car wash process I realized all these workers are just there to direct traffic, at no point was my car touched by a human. I go through the machine, no one dried the car after. Finally, at the end of the wash, I was met with an attendant holding a sign that said "the self vacuum area is full, thank you and come again". Long story short, I paid $30 to go through an automated wash and I've never felt more ripped off in my life. If I could rate this less than a star I would. read more

This place is a waste of $25 they do absolutely nothing. It's $25 literally to be instructed to pull into the car wash they don't vacuum your car they don't provide services for your rims. Well at least it was down when I went and still had to pay $25. Then when you try and ask a question as to how to get to the vacuum stations they tell you that you missed it and now you have no way to get back to vacuum your car out. So now I have to go somewhere else to vacuum my car out after I just pay $25 for soap and water. Waste of money and time for service that wasn't provide. I hadn't been here in a year or two. It used to cost around $25-30 for an exterior and interior cleaning. Still expensive, but acceptable for getting a fully cleaned car. I just went today and it was $30 but they no longer clean the interior of the car. It's no more than a basic gas station car wash and then they allow you to vacuum your own interior. There is absolutely no reason to go here. Just save a few bucks and go to a gas station. I definitely won't be returning. read more

They pack the cars in almost bumper to bumper, which causes their system to overload and stops 2 - 3 times while you are going through the wash. Additionally, the dry duster at the of the wash don't work. Might be better off paying the guys at traffic light. read more

BUYER BEWARE - Mr. Wash is a highly unethical and non-communicative company in my experience. We had 2 vehicles under a monthly auto-pay program. We sent a written request to cancel our account in January 2021. As of July 2021 we were still being charged. They ended up refunding us the erroneous payments for one vehicle but I recently discovered that they continued to charge for the other vehicle. After contacting them about this a month ago, they only offered to refund 90 days worth of charges even though we haven't used them for a year AND on top of that, processed ANOTHER PAYMENT TODAY! They do not answer their phones and only communicate by email. I have now been forced to cancel my credit card account just to prevent them from further charges. I went to Mr. Wash for the first time today because the first car wash I went to was so packed that they told me they could only wash the outside of my car for almost $40....NO thanx! I came to Mr. Wash and I have to say that for the first time, I actually feel that I got my money's worth. The cup holders were cleaned out (That's not always the case when I go to car washes.) and the car was AMAAZINGLY clean!!!! Please, DO NOT SPEND ONE DOLLAR HERE. By far the worst car wash I've ever encountered, and possibly the worst establishment. I paid for the "best" wash they offer, which includes interior vacuuming and surface wipe down. I had to ask 3 times for my vehicle to be vacuumed, and watched the gentleman literally slap my seats with the side of the vacuum and his hand - dirt and hair visibly flying around - and he says it is good. Even the manager said they don't need to do more because other car washes do the same (poor) work, which is a disgusting business model to follow fyi. I also watched the workers wipe only my windows post-wash and tell me that my vehicle was done. I ended up wiping it down myself, as the worker was happy to hand me their rag. There were at least 2 others who I watched also wiping their interior themselves. Meanwhile, another gentleman was standing over the manager while he wiped his car down - he told me that was the third time he asked someone to wipe the exterior of his car. It's clear by the many corroborating reviews, my interaction with employees, and both managers that they literally give zero effs if your car leaves looking like crap. The only thing this place has going for them is their convenience. They are all over the place so when you're out there's never one far away. Water pressure is terrible, you know the saying. I have to wipe my car off after the wash because of all the water still on it. You are pushed through the dryers very quickly. Water spots all over the glass. There are no special protectants, just basic water and soap. The front of my vehicle has not gotten cleaned once by their wash, and I drive a basic vehicle, it's nothing special. Definitely spend a little extra somewhere else if you want a good wash that actually cleans and dries your vehicle. read more

OMG - I went to Mr Wash in Ballston and the previous car wash biz at this Bailey's X-Roads location for years. Both full service and life was good. This new Mr Wash at Bailey's is beyond disappointing. I went b/c I had a free coupon; I won't go back. There is NO hands-on service. The only workers are there to take your money and wave you into the tunnel after you vacuum your own car. There's no window cleaning, no treating of your dashboard and tires... Really NO service at all, yet they want $25 just to drive thru their tunnel, which is more than the previous owner's full-service cost. Don't waste your time, even if you have a free wash coupon. This place is a complete racket. They have two options for $30: one time wash and unlimited for a month. When I (nicely) rebuffed the sales associate's multiple attempts to get me to do the unlimited wash, she said: "This is some bullshit. I want to go home." The worst part is they don't even clean the inside of your car for you, so I paid $30 to go through a drive thru and clean the inside myself. Very dishonest company. Signed up for the unlimited wash deal for $29.99 - I noticed on the 'contract' it said something about $59.99 so queried this. The staff member crossed this figure out and wrote $29.99 and assured me this was a mistake and they were waiting for the system to be updated. Indeed I was charged $29.99 for the first few months. The standard of the car wash was average, as other commenters have mentioned - be prepared to finish things off yourself. Once or twice I did simply drive back around for a second attempt as getting some of the dried on dirt washed away, because - unlimited right? After 3 months I noticed that I started to be charged $59.99 - a lot of money for an average service. I emailed to query this and after A LOT of back and forth I was refunded 1 months difference of $30 - but by this point I had been charged $59.99 twice more! Lisa at Customer Care still could not give me a straight answer about the rate - and said something about it being 'recalculated' after another 3 months but could not expand on what she meant. Eventually I received an email out of the blue from Lisa telling me that I had 'tampered' with the contract and sending me a scan of the crossed out $59.99 and therefore I would be banned from using their service! Clearly as she had the scan, it had been accepted by their staff member and was good enough to take money from my credit card for six months - but obviously they didn't like being called out on their sharp sales practises. I cannot recommend Mr Wash on quality OR service. The whole place seems like a scam to me. So please, spread the word and help your friends and families not to get caught out! If you are a member already - I urge you to check your credit card statements VERY carefully. read more

I took my daughters car there today. I was informed it would $25.00 no cleaning in car and no drying. There were four employees working, doing nothing. I declined since I don't get my car washed that often. He seemed annoyed by the fact that I declined. I asked for a regular wash. He took my credit card and ran it through the drive thru machine and it appeared $15 for regular and added $15 for Lava wash. I then told him I didn't want the "lava wash"..... don't even know what that is. He said it was included and I could not just have the $15 wash. This used to be my go to spot for a good and fairly quick car wash/interior cleaning. I don't know what happened but it's definitely not the same now. Moved to NC for the military(little over a year now) and just recently came back to visit. Surprised that it has changed now. Car wash seems to be the same but now all interior cleaning is self operated. read more

Secondly a manager, indicating that if my standard Subaru roof rack caused any damage to their system it'd be my responsibility. I went here for one car wash. The service person told me it was 30$ and that I could come as much as I wanted for the month and it was a deal for this month. I said ok. I have now been charged monthly for the past 6 months without my consent. I have emailed customer service to cancel and they haven't responded and I've called.
