Lovely & classy little restaurant in the Hilton T5. I'm pleased with my experience and will certainly return. Appetizer: scallops Dinner: ostrich in gravy Desert: creme brûlée (Indian style) All that I had tonight was simply amazing.

Naan and a beautiful array of chutneys and curries to start our meal

We had the very lucky experience of sitting right up at the Chef's Table on a weeknight here before catching our plane back to the States the next morning. We chose to do the 5 course tasting menu - alerting the kitchen that I don't eat pork or beef - and they were happy to work with me. The wonderful herbal array of dishes and chutneys was delicious. Like a true journey to India! And we've been to india! So I'd say this was absolutely a fine dining, high end version of the foods you will find in India. The service was great - they didn't serve hard liquor and initially had to tell me no when I orders a martini. But the manager quickly stepped in the remedy the problem by going to the bar upstairs to get the drink for me. Very very classy service.

Excellent. Some of the best, high end Indian I have ever had, Superb service even while dining by myself. I had a scallop and vegetable starter that was great followed by some ostrich curry which was super tender like good steak. Finished with a bowl of homemade tangerine ice cream. Fantastic meal. Certainly recommended.

Chefs in action cooking some wonderful and original dishes for me! The kitchen seating gives a prime view!

Had a chicken tikka special as well as a lamb dish that started with a "D" and had a looooong description.

Quality/Quantity - What a great find, and this review shows…read morethe positive power of Yelp. We discovered this local restaurant through Yelp, and so did the other 2 tables next to us. We found out at the end of our meal that one of the other tables was also from our hotel, a mile walk away. Overall, I think a simple menu done well. We got everything they recommended including the recommended beer from the table next to us. Plain Papadum & Chutney Tray - A must try! Suggestion, these two items should be together on your menu to avoid any confusion on pricing. The sauces also went well with our entree and naan. Tandoori Mix Grill - Good, perfect amount for both of us. As mentioned previously, we are light eaters, especially when traveling. This entree also came with a very light simple salad. Garlic Naan - I can eat this all day! This could even be my meal. After Dinner Chocolates - A nice unexpected touch. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant. Bathrooms need some TLC, but are functional. Indoor/outdoor dining; everyone ate indoors today. Open 7 days a week. Service - Good, had all 3 wait staff help us. This kind of confused us. They were good at upselling, but all 3 team members tried to upsell us. Not in a bad way, but it kept me laughing. I am a light eater, especially when traveling. They all made light small talk which was nice. It was obvious that everyone eating here was NOT local. They also have online promotions, see their website. Price - 28 pounds + tip. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success, I am so glad that you can benefit from Yelp. See you on our next visit as we were so happy with our hotel we plan to stay there again.

Sitting down, they brought us a basket of different crisps and papad with three excellent chutneys. Got the MurghMasala dish, very nicely balanced flavors and the spice level was exactly what my spouse likes. The Jeera Aloo was excellent as well. Also the Roomali roti is to die for, it's so good, exactly as described and perfect for scooping up the curry The service was impeccable and it's a really nice place for a hotel-based restaurant Tried the Chai Tea Crème Brûlée, it was good but cooked oddly thin. Passionfruit sorbet was on point and a perfect way to end an Indian meal

Very attentive, but I had to rescue my food from the waiter a couple of times (you're done right?), and failed to do the same with the last few sips of my beer. And the food? Very very good, but then again, there is the occasional total misfire (dried out paneer? Stale panipuri?) Anyhow, if you're at the Sheraton, beats the pants off of heading down the road to Hounslow....
