Dropped in for a meal after a redeye the previous evening. Excellent Indian cuisine, absolutely fresh everything. Sitting down, they brought us a basket of different crisps and papad with three excellent chutneys. Got the MurghMasala dish, very nicely balanced flavors and the spice level was exactly what my spouse likes. The Jeera Aloo was excellent as well. Also the Roomali roti is to die for, it's so good, exactly as described and perfect for scooping up the curry The service was impeccable and it's a really nice place for a hotel-based restaurant Tried the Chai Tea Crème Brûlée, it was good but cooked oddly thin. Passionfruit sorbet was on point and a perfect way to end an Indian meal read more

Food was disgusting. The service was okay though. Thr ambiance was bad Puerto its location.

Hit and miss..... The good stuff is very very good, and then there are the random misfires It's a fairly large somewhat sterile location in the Sheraton - nice, but a big open space with a ton of tables , which is ok ( airport adjacent restos are pretty much this) The service is .... interesting. Very attentive, but I had to rescue my food from the waiter a couple of times (you're done right?), and failed to do the same with the last few sips of my beer. And the food? Very very good, but then again, there is the occasional total misfire (dried out paneer? Stale panipuri?) Anyhow, if you're at the Sheraton, beats the pants off of heading down the road to Hounslow.... read more

The location of Madhu's Heathrow is a bit odd, tucked away in the lobby of the Sheraton Hotel near London Heathrow, but otherwise our experience was good. My mom and I stopped by during our overnight stay before an early morning flight. The menu offered a variety of different dishes, from charcoal fired items to curries. We ordered the non-vegetarian thali to share, as well as the chili + garlic prawns appetizer. The menu says the thalis are designed to serve one but various items combine to provide a huge portion. Individually, the portions are a bit small. Each curry has around 3-4 pieces of the respective protein, but it's a nice way to try their different menu offerings. The chili + garlic prawns came with 6 and boy were they spicy (and I think I have an above-average spice tolerance). The service was great. Our waiter came to check in on us several times throughout the night and was super patient in helping us understand the menu. The ambiance was also nice. The spot was modern and featured pops of red. read more

Top notch starters Gorgeous curries Great service from Caetano Convenient location and great room service alternative when staying at Heathrow hotels But get hotel to order round trip taxi because ride share area is crazy busy read more

Amazing Indian food. We ordered Saag Gosht and Shrimp Curry. Staff were very professional and attentive.

I got this recommendation from the Moxy front desk but maybe it was too spicy for me. I ended up feeling pretty awful after I ate here. The decor is nice, as it's inside a Sheraton read more

First of all the location listed on this app is misleading, this restaurant is actually inside the Sheraton hotel on Bath Road. If you find yourself on a layover or doing an overnighter in the Heathrow Airport area, this as fine an Indian restaurant as you will find in downtown London. The staff friendly and welcoming, the selection of food was superb, everything was fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend Madhu to get your Indian cuisine on! read more

Every time I fly through London I make sure to stay at the Sheraton so I can have dinner at the Madhu's. The food is amazing. I always order plates that have a little of everything on them to get the best of it. John was our waiter and gave us the best recommendations. read more

Madhu's Heathrow - A little bit of everything. - Indian Near Me - Gt Lon, XGL

Honestly, when we walked into a hotel near the airport, I didn't know what to expect. But Madhu's was EXPLODING with flavor in every bite of food we had! Highly recommend - honestly, everything. But the tandoori items is where they really hit the mark. We ESPECIALLY loved tandoori lamb, which is not something I'm sure I'd even order in the states, but is glorious in London. Almost grateful Indian food isn't as good where I live, because I'm sure I'd go broke trying to go here every day. Definitely visit! read more

The service is excellent! Joy, Peter, and the rest of the staff are wonderful. The food is good and can recommend the restaurant to friends and family when they visit London. read more

Quality, Authentic Indian food. Our waiter was excellent and made some great food recommendations. The location is very close to Heathrow airport so that's a huge plus for Freeway, sorry,, Motorway access! read more

Had a layover at London Heathrow and was very pleased. There was an Indian restaurant right next to the hotel. The general manager Anupam could not have been nicer, and the food was delicious. We ordered potato samosas, butter, chicken, lamb shi kabob and naan. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend if you were staying at London Heathrow at or near the Sheridan to eat at Madhus as both the service and food is great! read more

We visited Madhu's Heathrow after a long flight closer to the restaurant's closing time. The staff from the manager, to the host, to the servers were all welcoming and made accommodations to still be seated for a late dinner. The food was great! The service was amazing! Our kids were also satisfied with their dining experience at Madhu's. Thank you Anupam for your service. Your team rocks!!! read more

Went there due to overnight stay at Sheraton hotel. I like Indian cuisine so after a long day was looking forward to the dinner. We ordered some samoosas, lamb chops and Chicken tikka masala. The service was solid and the ambiance nice. Felt comfortable. Samoosas were firm and the filling aromatic. Good starter, and the accompanying sauces were good. The lamb chops were bathed in chili and lemon sauce and were grilled (tandoor I think although it is called robata). They were extremely tender and melted in your mouth. The chili was a little overpowering but the taste overall was good. A little fire extinguisher in the yoghurt mint helped but not much. The chicken tikka was a little different than I am used to. It was very hot, mostly due to the high volume of ginger and the cream was something that appeared to have been swirled into the bowl at the end. It was a generous portion and I could not finish it - partly due to the burning sensations. The chicken itself was boneless and consisted of all cuts, some were very tough others OK. Not a dish I would retry. Overall a nice experience. Perhaps we tried the wrong things or were too tired. PS - I hate to bring it up but I must. I ordered a glass of wine and the pour basically covered the bottom of the glass. When I finished I asked the waiter where the usual pour goes to and he pointed to a spot 2-3 fingers above where the actual pour was. I asked for a second glass and got the same pour. Not worth it. read more

Madhus - Sheraton Skyline - Heathrow Date of Visit: 08.10.17 Time: 6.00pm Review: Arriving early and taking a drink in the hotel pool sky bar just on the ground floor courtyard takes you away and so you feel like you are on holiday, drink selection a mixture of a full bar including a few mocktails and cocktails. I had the strawberry kiss, a nice way to start the evening and this bar is open from 4pm. Very good and friendly staff both at the sky bar and restaurant. The restaurant has a nice feel and has two private dinning rooms which is a bonus and an area to also cater for birthday parties. You get a view of the open kitchen which is always a nice feature and pleasant decor. A nice place to eat but the food is as you would expect and no real surprises, which is not necessarily a bad thing. You are also given complimentary mini popadoms and three sauces. Booking Process: I could not book by calling the main branch and seems like you just have to pop in or maybe call the hotel. Location: Located within the Sheraton Skyline hotel, London Heathrow, Hayes UB3 5BP, England. Tel: +44 20 8564 3380 Parking: Hotel has its own car park and if you spend over £20.00 either the restaurant or hotel reception will validate your parking for 3 hour stay. You need not pay at the meter just remember to get your car reg validated before you leave the restaurant. Decor & Lighting: Not too bright or dull and heavy on the red but its done tastefully and a pleasant surprise. Ambience & Acoustics: I did not take a DB value on the phone but the level of music is just right and you can have an easy and pleasant conversation without the need to raise your voice. We had the following Food: Sheekh Kebab - A large portion of 4 with a subtle spice and served with a little salad and mint sauce. Achri Gobi & Malai Broccoli - A large starter and served with a little salad. Had a good taste and remained crunchy but very subtle in taste so maybe a little bland for some. Khasta Veg Samosa - A portion of two and really enjoyed this and served with a little salad Murg Makni and Rice and Garlic Naan (Main) - A nice dish with a big portion of rice and main portion big enough to share. Well cooked and consistent with other places i have eaten so you won't be disappointed. Bill / Cost: £55.00 for two of us without any alcohol Conclusion: Good Service and fresh food but nothing out of the ordinary but a safe bet for an Indian. The menu is not the largest but covers all the main options and enough selection for all. One really big negative point to bear in mind is that they don't do doggy bags so no take away and stating a silly excuse that its the hotel policy. Having eaten at nearly all hotel chains and many restaurants this is a disgrace and I would say that it should be mentioned when you are seated. I would suggest you order less then order more only after you finish what you ordered. I would still however be happy to go again if in the area as its a pleasant and relaxing environment. This was the absolute best Indian food I've had! I've been all over the world and my wife is from Bombay and she said the samething! Class service, and even better food. Great place to stop by and grab a nice meal. Peter is the man. Great server.

Wow, I mean, I guess we shouldn't be that surprised considering how well established Indian food is in England but still... First, decor/atmosphere is great. Super modern chic without being gaudy; loud'ish but in a fun energetic way; and everyone seems to be having a great time. Also, the staff are super helpful and very attentive. The food is great, we ordered an assortment of curry's, rice, apps, and drinks. Everything was delish, honestly, I think you could order any dish off the menu and be completely satisfied! We were just staying over night for an early AM flight but didn't mind ordering more than we could eat just to try as much as we could. We did feel bad with the waste and all but boy was it worth it. Also, major point for having such a great establishment so close to the airport! read more

They have a robata grill that char-grills meat dishes like Robata Chop (lamb chops) and Murg Tikka. Go for the Robata Chop, which has two chops so you might need a couple of orders and then go straight for the Kulfi dessert. Skip the rest. Located inside of the Sheraton Skyline. read more

After days of eating English fare (which is not my favorite food), I asked around and discovered that England is home to wonderful Indian restaurants. So for my last night in town, I picked a hotel near the airport with a highly recommended Indian restaurant. Upon entering, I was seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious and the ambiance (once you get inside) is much nicer than the outside of the hotel. Despite it being a Wednesday night, the restaurant was quite busy. I usually don't care for chutneys, but I found the chutneys (especially the mango chutney) absolutely delicious. My server greeted me and made excellent recommendations for both wine and the prawns. I also had garlic naan and basmati rice. The prawns were perfectly spiced and huge! I wish I would have discovered this gem a few days ago. Sadly I leave tomorrow and won't have an opportunity to try other dishes. I would have liked to give this experience 4.5 stars, but the service declined as the meal progressed. I had to wait quite a while to get someone's attention to get a glass of wine. Overall, I would highly recommend and would return when I'm visiting London. read more

After exactly 12 minutes of standing at the entrance and watching multiple people look at me like an alien and not even bother to greet me or take me to a table or even smile...finally someone approached me. We came to this restaurant twice. The yellow daal was so fantastic we had to order it again after we finished the first batch. Only downside: yogurt was subpar. read more

Went on June 15th. The hostess is incredibly rude. At the end of the meal there is a mandatory donation to the British Asian society. I asked her about this donation and she says "I don't know, I don't have anything to do with this." I was confused again and asked what the organization does and she says "I have no idea, would you like to give us your one pound back?" I said "yes please." As I was walking out- she was talking about us to her colleague and couldn't believe I asked for the pound back. Listen lady, I am happy to donate, but I would like to know exactly what I am donating to. If you can't explain it, then why did you automatically add it to my check? Seems very unethical to make a "mandatory donation." Food is just ok. Not out of the ordinary. read more

Tucked away in the Sheraton Skyline by of all places an airport you're first impression is another hotel serving up a desirable cuisine at souped up prices, not here.. Swanky decor, check but it's a bit laidback surprisingly inviting. So you are reeled in to this cozy ambiance by the smell of roasted spices that permeates the air. Smiling friendly staff, check your guided to your table made to feel as if everyone was just waiting on you. I looked over to the far corner as a chef hurried about grilling another chopping and yet another spinning dough in the air. My mouth was watering and my foodie senses are all awake excited by all the possibilities. The build up and dinner theater did not disappoint! The bread fresh and buttery with just the right amount of spice, Lamb and sauce melt in your mouth good. Prawns in tomato sauce and spinach with cheese oh how good this place why can't you be there for me at every hotel. Mint tea in crushed ice and great wine to escort these yummy dishes to my stomach and dance about with delight. The price not pricy at all, so why in a hotel look around not all the customers are guest most are locals. That is how you discover great food and how this hotel discovered the right partner and makes this place the place you want to be in were you have to go. read more

Even for an airport hotel restaurant, I did not lower my expectations enough. The food (butter chicken and daal) was mediocre although the naan, mango lassi, and complementary pappard was nice. When I asked if the bottle of water could be left on the table so we would not have to keep requesting a refill, they denied us. Apparently it's not their policy to leave water with the customer even if they ask for it. Then, when I asked for the food to be packaged to go, I had to sign a waiver. I have never seen anything like that. They must've been sued so many times they have to protect themselves legally which is not a good sign. When the bill came, they included a mandatory 1 pound donation for the British Asian society which, again, was unexpected. Are we going to fight about it? No. But we will warn other people about it in our review. The options in this area may be limited but I would suggest trying out one of the other places before resorting to this one. read more

I was on a short trip to London and stayed close to heathrow airport. I was looking on yelp for good Indian restaurants and found this one right next to my hotel (London Marriot). To my surprise, although it's located inside Sheraton Skyline Hotel this restaurant amazed me with great ambience and good customer service. The pani puri (starter) is one of the best I have eaten in a while, it had the right amount of spice and flavor. Coming to the main course, Veg Biriyani along with Raita is the best combo. Good evening! I am sitting at my table drinking my glass of this terrific house Merlot ( I am not usually a merlot fan) just reminiscing on this wonderful meal that was prepared by Chef Harish and his crew. Surprised to find so few reviews and a less-than-four-star collective rating. As I read the lower star reviews, I completely understand why their experience turned them off, but I also appreciate how they all gave this restaurant credit for having great food. When negative reviews are mostly service related and concede that the food is great, I'll usually take my chances. Usually I'm dining alone (work travel) so it's pretty easy to get decent service. My service was fantastic with at least 4 different people checking on me multiple times. Food is stellar. I had the prawn appetizer, chicken tandoori main course, garlic naan, and rice. In my opinion it was the perfect amount of spice. I don't like when the dish is so hot that the spice overpowers other elements. Also do yourself a favor and get the fresh coconut water that comes in an actual coconut. Server Punham was excellent. Truly one of the better Indian dining experiences I have had read more

Dear Madhu's - I want to personally thank SahilBhai for all of his help and care. I am from the US, and I attended a wedding in London (Hilton Terminal 5 at the end of May for my friend Saumya), that was catered by Madhu's. I am still blown away by SahilBhai's amazing attention to detail and care. My husband and I are both vegan, and I also am gluten free due to Celiac's . SahilBhai ensured that my husband and I had a chance to enjoy all you delicious food at all the wedding events. He was able to help point out allergens in the ingredients for all the dishes, and he even had his chef prepare vegan gluten free (hing/asafoetida-free) channa masala for us! In fact, at the reception he found and brought me vegan gluten free bread, and event gifted me the amazing coffee you use! He is incredible. I have never met such caring, attentive, compassionate, helpful leaders! Thank you so so so much for making our experience in London even better. Good dining experience. Food was average but well presented. Friendly staff and free parking facilities. Good for family gatherings etc

I made my way to Madhu's based on positive yelp reviews. It is in the Sheraton, and suffers a bit from that in terms of how the space feels. I was seated at a table in the middle of the main open space of the restaurant and felt like I was a bit 'on display'. My initial experience with the service was positive, but more on that later. I ordered three items, and each of them was delicious and really nicely presented - I would have given 4-5 stars if I was just reviewing the food. As the meal progressed, the main server who was helping me pretty much vanished. I watched tables around me get the full extent of the service they seem to normally offer, which includes a warm towel at the end of the meal. After waiting about 15 minutes I finally got up, went to the front desk and asked for a check. No one ever acknowledged the oversight - and I was not offered a box for leftovers by the person who cleared my table. 50 pounds seemed like quite a bit for single person's meal.... read more
