The Mr. Tire Waldorf location (2225 Robert S Crain Hwy) is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The front desk guy (older man with a gray mohawk) is rude, nasty, and completely unprofessional. He ignored me while I was standing at the desk, helped someone else instead, then yelled at me when I spoke up. He told both me and my boyfriend to "go to another location" instead of doing his job, and kept complaining about being busy and being the only one there. He cuts customers off, argues, and makes people feel unwelcome. I left feeling disrespected and embarrassed. This man should not be dealing with the public -- absolutely unacceptable! read more

When I was looking for places to get my tire plugged, I searched for near by places and Mr Tire came up. As I reviewed their page, I saw under the "highlighted" portion of their page that they are LGBTQA+ friendly. I wasn't aware that there were tire shops who asked about sexual preference before beginning work on a vehicle. This just seemed so ridiculous to me and I can guarantee they won't be getting any of my business anytime soon. read more

Genuine customer service still exists, y'all!! I was recommended Mr. Tire by my dad who has come in the past and I am so glad he did. For about a week I had been experiencing a slow leak (caused by a lodged screw) in my rear passenger tire that was becoming a nuisance. I stopped by on a Thursday morning and Joe (at the front desk) and Paul (tire guy) were nothing short of fantastic! Instead of having to fork over $200 for a brand new tire, Paul patch plugged my tire. Joe took the time to explain the process instead of just rushing through trying to make a sale. They also had PLENTY of 'sanatizer and Clorox wipes ON DECK to wipe down the counter and keys from customers. Joe even made sure to advise me to get my pumps of 'sanatizer. All in all, I came in frustrated and left smiling from ear to ear! Thank you! You have definitely gained a new patron! read more

I'm not one for bashing businesses in this rough time, but this was one of the worst I have ever experienced! The manager (last name Cusic) needs training in customer service for sure! I would not recommend taking your car here! I dropped my car off November 24th around 1pm, to get tires installed that I order from Tire Rack. When I first got to the location, the manager quoted me a different price than what I saw on tire rack ($30 more), but I didn't make a big deal about it. The manager told me my car would be ready in a few hours because they only had one person changing tires. I agreed. Three hours later he calls me and says they aren't able to get them on because installing run flat tires is very difficult and they need to wait for another person to come the next day. (This was a lie)... I agreed to leave my car until the next day. I call back on the 25th asking for a status around 11am. Once again the manager says they're working on it. I proceeded to go to the store myself at 1pm because I couldn't believe it would take a full 24 hours to change tires! I entered the store and the manager (Cusic) starts to give me every excuse in the world about why it took so long. He then tells me one of his machines broke trying to install the tires. At this point I was super frustrated and told him this is unacceptable! You should've told me from the beginning if there was going to be an issue with you installing these tires. I would've went someplace else! The manager then tries to rush me out by asking for a payment! Part of me wanted to flip, but I didn't want to raise my blood pressure arguing with a guy that works putting on tires (yes I'm being judgmental)! End of the day, I would not recommend going to this Mr. Tire for anything. There is another location in Clinton, Md that is better! read more

Went to Mr Tire to get my tire repaired around 3:00, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted very rudely. I asked the associate that I needed a tire repaired and he stated that he couldn't help me because they had other cars to work on. Oh my!! Went to get a flat fixed and they charged $72. Is this normal in Maryland? Anywhere (CA, Chicago, NC)I have ever been it was $10- $15 to patch a tire. Oh and lets not forget customer service... Long story short.. tire fixed, out of $72, customer service sucked, I was given attitude when I asked questions about the flat, manager said "its fixed right?" Then he said "nobody ever asked what was wrong with the tire they just happy it is fixed" wow!! Ok! And they were slow as a . Nobody was there but me at 7:30 am and of course I had somewhere to be. Do not take your vehicle to this company. Today my vehicle broke down on the side of the road. I took my vehicle to another mechanic and was told my radiator has a crack in it. This surprised me because I had my radiator replace and all of my fluids flushed just 11 months ago at Mr. Tire on Crain Highway in Waldorf. When I called their office I spoke to a guy who told me that their work should last longer than a year. He assured me he would look into my case and call me back. He did not call me back. When I called again I spoke to the Assistant Manger. He told me that Mr. Tire's policy is to only provide a warranty for 90 days or 4K miles. (Whichever happens first) When I explained my situation he said he could compensate me for the part but not the maintenance or the fluids. So instead of paying nearly $800 he could give me a discount of $150. Never mind I spent money to two my SUV off the highway or the fact that I would have to have it towed to Mr. Tire, which would cost $160 by itself. I told him no and I said I would call corporate. When I did, I got nowhere. The representative told me that she would call me back and when she did she repeated the words of the Assistant Manager. Both of them said they could, "Eat the cost of the part but not the maintenance. The mechanic has to be compensated." I totally agree. The mechanic should be compensated by them. Not by me. I am a 3 year customer of this store and the fact that they would throw away my concerns is unjust and incomprehensible. So, I should pay them twice to possibly do the work right the second time. I don't think so. The right thing to do would be to repair my truck for free considering most companies provide a 3 year warranty on this part. How it is it's ok that they can get away with only having a 90 days warranty? This company has poor business practices and should be avoided at all costs. read more

On Friday I went to get my brakes changed and also ended up getting a oil change and my rotors resurfaced, spent $390. On Saturday evening I noticed my car made a loud thumping noise anytime I went over 50 mph. I took the car back as soon as they opened Sunday morning at 9:30am. I met with the manager, Joseph Cusic III and told him about the loud thumping noise my car was making after the service. I asked if he could take a look at it, he stated that they were TOO busy and I should come back Monday morning, after I spent $390. I drove home very dissatisfied with the response so I decided to go back. I went back, talked to Joseph and agreed to drop my car off. About 30 minutes later I received a call from Joseph stating that they looked at my car and nothing was wrong and that I need back brakes and new tires, ANOTHER $400 I was suggested on spending. By this time I was HIGHLY frustrated that he was not addressing my concern but was suggesting new services. He agreed that he could redo the rotors as they were surfaced to low. I said, ok and that I would be on my way to pick the car back up once finished servicing. I get there and the manager Joseph shows me my tire, which did NOT need replacing and says I need a new one. At that time I was visibly upset because he had not replaced the rotors and was STILL trying to sell me tires! I told him politely to put everything back on and that I didn't want any other services and left. Long story short my wife, who was disgusted with the story took my car back up to the place after calling Joseph to explain the issues with the thudding noise. When she got there she talked to the mechanic Paul who was the only person who turned this service around for us. He took all the wheels and rotors off and replaced them and the brake pads and test drove the car...still made the noise. Paul then says I bet it's the cover under the car, so he lifts the car and shows us the previous mechanic did not put the cover back together properly and left out 6 bolts. Paul fixes the cover and replaces the bolts and test drove the car and it drove like new, no thudding noise at all. We were so happy Paul was there to de-escalate the situation. He was very determined to figure out the problem and to make sure we were treated with dignity. On the other hand the manager Joseph could careless and needs to learn to listen to his customers when they are complaining about a service they PAID for!As soon as we alerted him of the issues he SHOULD have test drove the car to hear the sound and rechecked the previous mechanics work. After all was said and done we DIDNT receive any acknowledgement from Joseph, NOR did he apologize for the 6 hour inconvenience, not even a damn oil change coupon, NOTHING! But one again thank you Paul, but we will never return. If I could post zero stars I would! read more

About two years ago I purchased tires from Mr. Tire, they had the best prices in town! The service that I received from them was excellent. It wasn't until I visited their Crain Highway location in Waldorf, Md that I discovered that they also provided other services such as oil changes, which would work out perfectly for me! To maintain the warranty on my tires they needed to be rotated every 3,000 miles, they would do this for free, it is also a service that they offer when you have your oil changed so I could kill two birds with one stone a very big time saver for me. Aside from the great customer service that I had always received from Mr. Tire, I had a place that I could go that I could trust. I had been getting my oil changes from Jiffy Lube, it seemed that every time I went there there was something wrong with my car. I was once told that I needed a new fan belt, which was so not true as I had just had it replaced just two months before. I was not impressed and never went back. Whenever I go in for an oil change and have the tires rotated, the tech always looks over my car to see if I have any issues that need to be addressed. After two years of oil changes with Mr. Tire, they brought me back to show me that I needed new brake pads. It was then explained what was involved in doing so, and a very reasonable price was given. The manager also pointed out that my tires were not wearing as they should and suggested that I needed an alignment, it had been awhile since I had one so I agreed to have that done as well. I also had a brake line flush done as it had been awhile since I had this done as well. While paying for the services that I had done on my Lucy, the manager told me that if I had any issues, to bring Lucy back and come see him. Well as it turned out, I did have an issue with my brakes, they were making awful sounds when I applied them after a lot of stop and go's on the beltway. I was a bit nervous about all of this and took Lucy back to the shop to have her checked out. It would seem that when the tech filed down the rotters, he filed them a bit to much. It was a mistake, these things happen. The manager told me that they needed to be replaced, without any issues what so ever the Manager offered to replace them free of charge since it was a mistake made by their Tech. It is this type of customer service that keeps me coming back to Mr. Tire! Aside from being freindly and professional, this is a shop that is honest and has integrity! Something so very hard to find these days!! A big thank you to the Manager and the techs that take care of my Lucy and for continuing to insure my safety while driving the crazy roads of the Beltway!! Anyone looking for a great deal on tires, excellent service and excellent customer service a place that they can go and know that the shop is honest and has integrity and can continue to trust, than search no further, head for Mr. Tire located at 2225 Crain Highway in Waldorf, Maryland! I will be taking Lucy back next month for her tune up, I know that she will receive great care at a very reasonable price! read more

I had my GMC Canyon pickup truck brakes done at the Waldorf, MD, Mr. Tire on a Sunday a while back. After a couple weeks, I noticed the brakes were squeaking severely and would lock up and smoke I took it to the Mr. Tire in Mechanicsville, MD, and they replaced the brakes which wore out prematurely for free. They said they had to re-lube the brake cylinders so they wouldn't stick, which I thought was odd. I suspect they didn't want to deal with the real problem which I mention later. After a few weeks, the brakes started sticking, again. I eventually took the truck to an independent mechanic and he said all the seals and the brake cylinder were shot because the wrong fluid was used instead of the brake fluid and that caused all the rubber to swell causing the brakes ti stick. Since this all started with getting the brakes done at the Waldorf Mr. Tire, they were the source of the problem. I filed a complaint with Mr. Tire's insurance but they refused to pay because they said I had waited too long and their claims adjuster didn't see the damaged seals before they were taken off the vehicle, so I was out $2500 for the repairs. I recommend Tires Plus, or Goodyear Tire centers which I have started using since I have given up on all Mr. Tire Centers. read more

Absolutely worst experience! I went for an oil change and they must of picked my car up wrong and on the exhaust and broke my exhaust! Mr tire claimed they didn't do it because there was no scarring and "they pick cars up everyday for a living". I took my car to be fixed today and the guy said he doesn't care what mr tire says they had to of picked it up from the exhaust. No there isn't scarring but my car went in 100% fine, quiet as could be and picked it up sounding like an old broke down boat! Common sense tells you something happened while there! Mr tire refused to take responsibility and I contacted corporate and they never even replied! Needless to say they will NEVER touch my vehicles again! My whole exhaust had to be cut off and welded back on because of the way they broke it. And even after breaking my car they still charged me the oil change! So they charged me to break my car plus I had to pay for it to be fixed!! read more
