Price was too high !!! Can get it cheaper most any place, including dealer. It's and oil change.read more

Let me begin by saying that the people here are pleasant, and if you are looking for an oil change,…read moreit seems fine. It isn't inexpensive, and they try to upsell you on lots of different things, but if you stick to your guns, you are in and out in a half hour with $100 oil/filter change. In my case, I always rotate tires with an oil change. My usual service place was backed up; couldn't get in before a long trip and I wanted to be sure I was on spot with my service interval before I left. After the oil/filter change, and batting away the upsells, the manager tells me they can't rotate my tires because my lug nuts are "swollen." So I never heard of that, asked him to show me, and what I saw was a scratched up lug cover from prior removal. He refused to perform the service. I went home, pulled out my lug wrench, and it fit the nuts just fine. I'm not really equipped to swap tires on my own anymore, so I went to another place a block or two from Valvoline. Although they thought it odd that I wanted a tire rotation alone, without the oil/filter change, they put it on the lift, and the tires were rotated ten minutes later. I'm frustrated because had they told me that they couldn't do them, I would have left; most places discount the bundled services. Wound up costing me more and taking more time. And the young man who impressed me with his manager title and six years experience left me questioning whether I'd use them again.

Travesty . I believe because I drive a Mercedes (cargo van not a fancy model, cost less than nice…read morepick up truck) these idiots thought they could sell me new brakes. Came in with a 2022 vehicle just recently serviced at Mercedes and these fucking dingbats tried telling me I need new rotors on the front of the my truck to pass inspection and that they are 36/1000 of an inch to thin . Lols, I was almost pissed then I remembered that I was at some corporate auto repair shop and these dudes are fucking coward idiots. These dudes are wiser than Mercedes techs in major Metropolitan areas ? . Yeah , tried to charge me almost 800.00 for brakes . It's comical I couldn't even be pissed . Stay away from these scum bags, especially in Sayre.

After being a customer at this location for several years, I think I will be taking my business…read moreelsewhere due to a couple of things that happened during my most recent two visits (which were some months back). The first issue was when I needed new shocks and whomever took care of my vehicle installed them backwards. I don't know how that even happened - that's something I would probably do if I attempted to repair my own car because I would have no idea what I was doing. I had to take the car back the following day due to the racket it was making and the person who helped me (different from the one who installed the shocks) had no idea how shocks got installed wrong either. Thankfully I was not charged for them to fix their error. The larger problem I had was being told after an inspection that my battery was dying and they really made it seem like it was going to conk out very, very soon, telling me it wasn't a matter of "if" it died, but "when" it died. I think that's true of any battery regardless of age, don't you? This was months ago, and hey guess what? My battery is still just fine. I was told that since my vehicle was an uncommon model that I needed a "special" $400 battery (but oh, installation would be free). A simple internet search showed me that there is nothing special about my vehicle and that there were three specific batteries that would be compatible with my car, the most expensive one being $330 and the cheapest one being about $250. I get that they probably need to jack up the price a bit to make a profit, but why the lying? Just tell me the battery is $250 and labor is $150. And why would I spend $150 to have a battery installed when AutoZone right down the street does it for free? Thest two incidents just left a bad taste in my mouth, and especially with the battery thing, I really felt like I was being taken advantage of because I'm a customer who pretty obviously is not car-savvy. I had mostly good experiences with this place over the years (with the exception of a 3-hour-long oil change a long time ago) and the staff has always been very polite and had even taken care of some very minor issues for me at no charge. But having replacement parts installed wrong by people who are supposed to know what they're doing followed by being misled about my battery and misled about the cost of a new one is just too much for me to justify continuing to entrust this garage with my vehicle.
