Pretty disappointed. I bought a used car from this place, relatively low miles considering It being 10 years old or so. Well the check engine light was on, which is a concern for anyone, because it could mean anything. Well I was informed it was just the oxygen sensor needing to be replaced, and they "ordered one" right there while I sat there wating. Afterwards, I was told the car would be ready in a couple days. When I returned to buy the car, the check engine light was off. He told me it didn't need a new one, just had to be plugged back into the vehicle, so all is well now. Not two days later, the light was back on. I took it to advanced auto, who told me "it wasn't giving them anything specific, so not to worry about it". Well, there's no reason for a light to be on and to just ignore it, it has to be something! So I took it to auto zone. They gave me a full print out, showing the light was on even prior to my purchase, it had been on before, and was cleared off. Meaning ram tire didn't fix anything. They just cleared it from the system. Enough to get my money. They had to check the diagnostic the figure out that it was "the oxygen sensor" in the first place. If it were fixed then It shouldn't have come back on saying it had been on before. And besides thay point, it's not even the oxygen sensor. It's an 80$ part on its own without install. I get it's as is, but seriously? I understand if it were a wearable part, but something like this doesn't need to be replaced often, if ever. I own 3 cars, two of wich are brand new, prior to that I've owned other as is cars and had no problem. We purchase a car from this place before and within a couple days and needed a new oil pan because It had a big hole in it. And they also changed a bunch of belts on our dime, after we bought it. "Fixed our AC, and it quite in 5 days, took it back and it needed a whole new compressor. Decent cars if your in a pinch I suppose... read more
