I used this shop because I had purchased the tires and road hazard from this shop. I needed a repair of a slow leak in one tire on my daughter's car that she drives back and forth to Millersville University. I know that the tires are four almost five years old but the tires only had 30,000 miles driven on them and still looked really good. This tires were rated at 65,000 miles new, in my mind they were only half way used and were due a prorated price to replace the one with a slow leak. The person that I dealt with Antonio felt differently and explained that a road hazard warranty is good for one year. I paid four years ago $189.00 for road hazard and it was expired after one year according to Antonio. So please when you are offered the road hazard find out the details and decide if it is right in your particular situation. I honestly believe there are tire shops that are offering a better road hazard option so buyer beware, and research better than I did. read more

I've been coming here for 10 years. They have mounted many tires for me, I have 6 vehicles, so a bunch. I usually buy my tires from tire rack and bring them, no problem. Everything had always been great. So, I had a an appt for tomorrow morning for mounting and balancing of 4 new tires for my daughter's Ford Focus. I bought/brought 4 new tires from tire rack and went tonight to drop the car off. New guy at counter tells me that they don't mount customer supplied tires, but since I've been a long time customer he can make it work. He then prints me a $580 invoice to mount and balance the 4 tires that I am providing. He says they have to do a $200 alignment because they are liable if they install the tires? Clown! read more

By all means "DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP FOR SERVICE" 4 thumbs down Took my care in for an oil change a/c checkup inspection & emission free tire rotation also reported a slow leak in the right front tire. received a call from Andre' the mgr who said that the car failed inspection due to a nail in the tire that couldnt be fixed. then he quoted me a ridiculous price of over $275 for a new tire plus its their policy that I would also have to get a front and rear alignment to buy a tire well over $100, he also said that the radiator needed to be flushed as the antifreeze was dirty i declined service. I went to pick up the car, then he said that they didnt rotate the tires due to a nail, the nail was in the front tire so rotating it to the rear would have been the safest which was a free service with an oil change i then asked about the emission which passed and even though I paid for the emission he refused to put a sticker on it due to the failed inspection. I left the shop and had to take my car to the dealership where I had purchased the tires as I had roadeside assistance/warranty on th tires and needed to get the car inspected. i took the car in they inspected & the car passed. When they looked at the tire there was no nail nor could they find a leak. so the car past inspection which i had to pay for which I woudn't have had to do plus i had to pay $30 to get the tires rotated that would have been for free at Mr. Tire. i also asked the dealership about the anitfreeze and thats when they said that I had it flushed last August so Mr Tire lied to me saying that I needed to flush the system. I called Andre to discuss the "no nail" in the tire he said that it must have fallen out and the nail must not have been through the inner wall, which make no sense nor would it explain the leak. He refused to adjust the bill so I called and wrote the corporate office, on Wednesday the 23rd, yesterday i had to go back to my dealership to get a battery cable that was not in stock and when they had it on the lift the technichan who worked on the car the last time( who knew of the work done and the issues that I had at Mr. Tire) noticed that the oil filter on the car was theirs which they installed in February as they put their name and date on the filter. so Mr. Tire might have changed the oil (or they just reset the oil life and didnt add new oil but for sure they used the old filter so I had to pay my dealership for an oil change and filter as I was not taking a chance that they did drain and add new oil I did not report this to Andre but I am reporting this to the Corporate office and the BBB. As a returning customer, I recently brought my vehicle in for three things: set of new tires, state inspection, and oil change. This was in writing in my online appointment. During the inspection, it was determined I would need two tie rods and was provided a price for them. I was provided costs on the phone for the tires (I wanted low/mid-level tires given the age of my vehicle). As a note, I went to Mr. Tire because of the July 4th sales and because I bought my prior set of tires there 50k miles ago. I authorized them to proceed based on what was told to me on the phone. In total, it should have been ~$2000-$2300. Got a call later when the work was done to let me know it was finished and the final cost (which was nearly $3000!!). I was at work at the time and did not have time to debate it. I picked up the vehicle that evening, paid in full, and returned a couple days later when the sales person with whom I talked was in (and after I had the invoice in hand). He was not there when I picked up the car and paid. Some details about this visit/issue: - The prices he told me on the phone were only partial (i.e., didn't talk about labor). So telling me it would be $400 to get a piece of the work done suddenly turned into much more. - I've owned my car for 7 years and had many oil changes. An oil change has never cost me more than $150. This time, I was charged more than $525 FOR AN OIL CHANGE! When questioned, the rep tried to tell me that because it was a diesel vehicle it required special diesel fluid and dealer-provided parts, etc, etc. What I came to learn through the discussion is that the sales rep didn't realize that diesel vehicles use off-the-shelf oil (in my case, 0W30) like any other ICE vehicle which can be purchased for less than $10/liter. In the past, the dealer has charged me $15/liter (and that was marked up). Mr. Tire charged me $35/liter for oil...for 7 liters! And the sales rep had the nerve to try to convince me why this was a 'special' oil change because it was a high-end, diesel vehicle. A quote from the rep: "You mean, you can put regular oil in a diesel vehicle....like 5W30?". - For the tires, he quoted me a price on the phone (which was higher per tire than what you typically see....especially during a holiday weekend sale...but I was ok with it because: 1) they had them in stock 2) it was obviously the fully installed cost (as is shown when you look on the Mr. Tire website) 3) he indicated that he would 'see what he could do for me' with price matching, etc, so I expected his verbal quote to be 'worst case'. - In my appointment request, I specifically asked for 'state inspection', not 'emissions' as it is not required for a diesel vehicle in Pennsylvania. Yet, they performed that work and charged me for it without my authorization. - When I met with the sales rep F2F a few days later to discuss the invoice, I waited minutes because the customer in front of me was upset about his experience, the lack of clear communication, the costs, etc. That conversation ended with the rep telling that other customer "we're done talking here". - During my conversation with the rep (who is seemingly a nice guy), he spent most of the time challenging me, defending, being pedantic (as if I was not a knowledgeable consumer), and generally not listening. I already mentioned the lack of knowledge about engine oil. He also kept saying "I was clear with you on the phone that the cost of service would be ~$3000", to which I had to continually reminding him that he only shared that $$ AFTER the work was complete, and that the individual components he shared with me BEFORE the work were vastly lower. Had I known that it would be $3000 for some tires and an oil change, I would not have authorized the work. He did not get it. - The invoice was not particularly clear, either. There were some discounts applied (to marked up items...which isn't really a discount, right?), so when I asked for that clarity he repeatedly talked down to me about how it was 'Matrix pricing'. Well, I don't really care how Mr. Tire codes things into their system. I'm the customer...what I'm paying for should be crystal clear. It took several minutes of literal 'pencil to paper' back and forth to articulate how the number arrived at $3000. He also kept talking about 'this is standard industry practice' when I reminded him that the cost he quoted me was incomplete, as if it's my job as the customer to know that the quoted prices are incomplete. To get me to leave, he offered me a 'free oil change' the next time I come in. So let me get this straight: a typical oil change for me is less than $150, so you're going to give me two oil changes for $525? What a satisfying deal! - I followed up multiple times via email to the store without response, hence my posting here. I don't like to be gaslighted. I don't like to be overcharged/misled. Left my vehicle with them for them to call me 15 minutes later after I've already paid for an Uber home to tell me that they couldn't fix the tire and they were still charging me $60 because they had to look at things that they were they were not asked to look at, nor did they make me aware of any of this before I left my vehicle with them because I happily would've refused to leave my vehicle with them and took it somewhere else. my Lexus needed two tire sensors , job was well done. However, $26.40 plus charges were added without my consent in the name of parts disposal, and tire rebalance, tire repair, etc. Receipt stated customer wishes to discard old parts while in reality, I was never asked. I know almost all garages tend to fluff the charges under different pretenses . On the other hand Assistant Manager David Patton was very polite, efficient and the mechanic J Tee as well. Waiting room is quiet, large and pleasant. I recently had my jeep serviced at the Mr. Tire Location in Fairless Hills, PA. I hadn't opened the hood until yesterday, and I found the engine cover was missing from my jeep. I went to the store today, and they said they don't have the cover. I asked if they could check with the technician who worked on my car and surprise, he doesn't work there any more. I asked the person at the counter what they could do, since the cover is an expensive part. He basically said they would not do anything. This is terrible customer service. He's telling me that he doesn't think they lost the cover, but I've never taken it off in the 9 years I owned the car, so why would I have lost it? read more

Pro: Friendly, Inexpensive, Quick Con: Poor Service Execution I was directed to Mr Tire as a certified installer after purchasing a new set of rubber from an online dealer. The process of having the tires drop shipped to the installer was super easy and convenient & the staff was also very friendly when I dropped the rims off to have the rubber installed. Unfortunately, the actual service appears to have been lacking. After mounting the rims on my vehicle, I started to experience some pretty heavy vibration at 60-70mph. I took the car back to Mr Tire to request they look at the vehicle and address the issue, but they have a policy against working on cars with any wheels spacers (I have 15mm H&R TRAK+ in all 4 corners) so I brought the car down the road to Firestone to inspect the vibration. They found 3 out of 4 tires to be severely out-of-balance. They were rebalanced and the vibration subsided, albeit at another $65 out of pocket. I'm not sure if my case a result of a single unskilled/sloppy technician, or general review of the overall technical proficiency of the shop, but I most likely would use another tire shop in the future. read more

I have since moved to Hamilton, NJ, but I've still been coming here because I've been so pleased. -they don't "find" mystery issues with my car that need to be fixed -they take care of what I need without trying to kill me on the price -they point out current deals that may be going on in regards to the service I'm having done if I obviously don't know -they sometimes just give me a break due to whatever I'm having done In short, I feel like I can trust these guys. 5/11/2015 I visited their website and left detailed information about what I needed for my car on the previous day (5/10/2015). I wanted 4 Michelin tires with the Run Flat option. My tires are in bad shape and, while that's my fault to begin with, I needed them replaced today. They called me promptly in the morning to tell me that they could see me this evening but only if I could use the same Michelin tires without the Run Flat option. I was okay with this and went about my busy day at work. At 3:45PM (my appt was for 5:30pm) - they called me to tell me that they didn't get the tires, that they weren't on the truck, and could I reschedule for another day. If I wanted to schedule a different day then I would have just gone to a cheaper option. Now I have to scramble to find another place that has my tires and can install them during my busy schedule this week. They should not make promises if they can't deliver. read more

I've been taking my vehicle to Mr. Tire for much more than tires for years. After my Honda dealership couldn't resolve a Tire Pressure Sensor issue (even after I paid to have sensors replaced). I took it to the local Acura dealership. No luck there either. I ended up at Mr. Tire. The issue was resolved quickly with minimal expense. There are many reasons to be a Mr. Tire loyalist, especially if your vehicles are either precision cars (Benz & BMW) or unicorns (Ford Ranger with 5-speed manual transmission). The guys really know what they are doing, they do it right, and they do it the first time. Moonbeam (the BMW) and Rommel (the Benz) are the typical German cars wherein components change whenever the engineers feel like changing them, so everything relies on the suppliers knowing the VINs to get the parts right. There's a California supplier of fancy - drilled and slotted - brake rotors that Moonbeam and Rommel really like. Never a problem. Enter Hank, the Ford Ranger. Fords are Fords, right? Nope. Seems like manual transmission Rangers, accounting for less than 10% of the output, are Unicorns. Even the Californian rotor manufacturer did not know that the manual Rangers need a very different rotor. The fancy rotors mechanically fit perfectly, but the "tone ring" for the ABS confused the sensors. The guys at Mr. Tire instantly diagnosed the problem and set about special-ordering the right ones. We've changed the Ranger's name from Hank to Unicorn, the rare beast which never conforms to expectations. This is the kind of knowledgeable, professional, and gentlemanly service which has become uncommon in today's world. It is good to know that it is alive and well at Mr. Tire. And I've learned to resist the urge to order fancy parts which don't work. read more

DO NOT GET YOUR CAR INSPECTED HERE !!! Went in for an inspection and was told I needed new rotors with a $340 price tag as my car has not yet "been worked on" by them. I then took my car to an HONEST mechanic, who agreed that the state of the rotors did NOT warrant a failed inspection. Do not get your car inspected here as these people will make up something wrong just to go after your money. Had same issue last year where they failed my inspection for a small rubber part of the back windshield wiper, absolutely ridiculous!!!! read more

Been here for two hrs now they just told me how much it will cost, hopefully it won't be too much longer - no savings compared to other like places. Update - took 4 1/2 hours to complete and we were there right after they opened at 8am. Definitely would not wait for your vehicle, unfortunately I have no choice. You would think they would try to expedite your vehicle knowing you are sitting there, nope. I would expect a 3 hour wait at the most and I would have been happy with that but every time i went to see what was going on with my car, there were a bunch of guys standing around the computer desk and nothing going on with my car. I saw at least 3 people come in after me and leave before me. I would go back there in a pinch, but i think Im going to keep looking for a decent, fair mechanic in my area! read more

I had a bad experience with this place. I researched prior to going, the tires I wanted, then called around all the nearby tires shops for the best deal. Over the phone, this place gave me the best price. After confirming the final price before installation, they installed the tires. When it came time to pay, the price quoted went up. They gave excuses and back pedaled, and argued with me and made a huge hassle. Finally they gave me the price quoted but it wasn't worth the stress or fight. Then 3 1/2 months later I got a flat on those brand new tires. It just so happens it occurred while driving and a bubble developed as to where the tires was unusable. Mr. Tire's warrantee was for 90 days. The tires I had purchased were very good, very expensive tires, 65,000 mile tread life. I was hoping they could work out a deal being that it was so close to the warrantee. I called the store, and they said the manager that could make that decision wouldn't be in for 2 days (which is poor customer service to begin with). I waited 2 days, then went in. I brought the tire and explained the situation. They argued with me that Michelin never has defects and that it was my fault because I drove on a flat. I responded with "can you tell me how it's possible not to drive on a flat if you get the flat while driving?" He had no answer but refused to help or extend any warrantee. He said it wouldn't have even been covered and there was nothing he could do but sell me a new tire. You can believe I will never be going back to this place again. They are a bunch of swindlers. You are better off going to a junk yard like Nedals in Trenton, and asking for a guy named Abby, to get you almost new tires for 10 times less than a new one. Which is what I did. You will get much better service and a much better price. read more

Went in looking for 4 tires for my car. Being owned by Goodyear I assumed that a deal could be had, but I was wrong. Their prices were a tad higher than other chain stores. They did offer off brand tires but chinese already get enough of my money. So I left without my tires. Went down to Keystone Tire in Bensalem and got 4 yokohamas for the price of their no names here, so in the future I must remember, bigger isn't always better. read more

So what's with all the bad reviews for Mr. Tire in Fairless Hills, PA? I've been coming to them for auto inspections and tires since they were Vespa's. Over the years, they've serviced my kids' BMWs with brakes, tires, inspections, etc. Never a problem whatsoever. They also solved a problem with a tire losing pressure on my Audi A4 Avant that the Audi dealership in Willow Grove couldn't solve. Most recently, I took my Mini Cooper S in for tires. I had them order BFGoodrich g-force Comp2 all seasons. They matched the competitor's price, installed them. When I drove off, there was a droning sound coming from the tires--not acceptable. I called Mr. Tire, they checked with their corporate office, and told me to pick out a new tire and they would take the BFGoodrich tires back! Customer service doesn't get much better than that. I have my Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 tires installed, and I'm happy as hell. Personal shout outs to Joe (Manager) and Bob (Assistant Manager) for really taking care of me as a valued customer. This is the only place I take my car now. They've always been honest and upfront with me as far as what my car needs and what can wait till the next time or even longer. They never push. I've got an older car with a lot of miles. The staff is friendly and courteous. They remember your name even if it's been months since you came in. I can usually get an appointment without any problems. Weekends get busy, but I usually leave my car Friday nights get and by mid morning I've at least heard from them to know what's going on and by early to mid afternoon it's done. My wife's locking system wouldn't work and she dropped her car off for service. The Manager Joe called me and explained my options. I told Joe I had a third party warranty but did not have the information it was in the glove box. He asked for permission to get the information out of the glove box and went out of his way to call and verify the work would be covered.
