Joe immediately put me at ease with his genuine, friendly mannerisms. I didn't feel like I was being hustled, rushed or, being female, condecended to when discussing repairs. There was an immediate issue with my muffler not being secured properly, which Ed repaired quickly. These folks are honest, true and fair. I was not charged for the free estimate, and shockingly, not for the fix to secure my muffler! They use a polite and friendly front to earn your trust, then trap you. When I called back 10 minutes later to cancel the rotor job, they threatened me with a ridiculous $300+'cancellation labor' fee, claiming they already started. I gave in purely out of concern for my family's safety. When I picked up the car, I asked for my old parts back. To my shock: both my old pads and rotors were still in great shape with years of life left! They replaced perfectly good parts just to inflate the bill and pad their pockets. Avoid this shop at all costs!

Wouldn't that be the 1st, easy thing to check? No. It took 2 test drives: 1st with this "helper mechanic" who couldn't diagnose it; 2nd, the real Ace. Oh- While I was waiting for the "ace genius," I asked the helper/ mechanic to borrow a special screwdriver to replace a taillight. The guy tried to pull off the lens without unscrewing the other 2 of 4 visible screws. Good thing I was standing there to tell him or he would've broken it. Very basic. In all fairness, AFTER a test drive, the helper mechanic checked the trans dip stick, but didn't know that the engine should be running, in neutral. - this info is actually stamped on the dip stick. "Ace" had to show him this. "Ace" defended that helper didn't know about the trans dip stick bec the helper drives a jeep and it's different from a simple old dodge. Oh wait, isn't that the point?

Immediately upon arrival he made a negative comment about the brand of my car and its reliability. He then called me later in the day and informed me about the issues with my car (most of which I was already aware of) but claimed he was unsure about the condition of one of my parts until he was able to see it himself-this is very understandable and I appreciated his transparency, but I politely declined and told him that I would be going to a more specialized place and he instantly gave me an attitude and did not inform me when it would be a good time to pick up my car-he just hung up the phone. When I did arrive, the negative attitude continued and he charged me $200 for a one-hour long inspection and a piece of paper. I gave the place 2 stars because one of his drivers that drove me home was incredibly friendly and Andy did provide me with a list of what was wrong with my car, which I appreciated. I had high hopes for this place based off previous reviews, but it appears that they treat longer term customers more friendly than newer ones, while also charging you a pretty penny.
