I found LS&R here on Yelp and was able to get an appointment for the next day. It was a bit of a drive, but with my needing to get an inspection before the end of the week, I didn't mind. From the minute I started speaking with an associate to the minute my visit ended, I felt that I had made the right choice to come here for my inspection. Roughly a 30 minute turn around, a no pressure to "fix" things environment (another reason I needed to find a new garage), and the vibe the crew provided with the music in their work space added to my overall 1st experience here at LS&R. Leon and crew, thank you for fitting me into your schedule and your hospitality.

I called Hawk and John laughed and said that's ridiculous and yes they could fix it for around 1000.00. I also asked them to replace the motor for her driver side window. it wouldn't go up or down. Thry called when it was done and it was over 200.00 cheaper than they quoted. I asked why ( and of course I wasn't complaining) and John said it didn't need a new motor just had to rewire it. That was when I knew I would be back with any issues with my truck and my wife's in the future and would recommend them to family and friends. I dropped the vehicle off Wednesday morning and received a call later that day about the services I needed to pass. I was disappointed that it needed so much, but went forward with the procedures. The car was done and ready by Friday with a passing inspection sticker. Fred (the garage owner) ran into some issues with some of the custom parts I have, and ended up charging me less because of the difficulty he encountered. It was very much appreciated. I ran into a loud clunking noise after the work was completed. However, when I brought it back, they were more than happy to fix it and make things right. I dropped it off the night before and the fix was completed the next day. Needless to say, my Jeep has never drove straighter. The alignment was tight. My headlights are clear. My tailpipe was welded correctly after Monro made a mess of it. My brakes are responsive and smooth. I was upset with the price tag, but after realizing what a great job they did, I find that they were worth it. Would definitely use them again and suggest them for SOME custom work.

Inspection in July of this year, I again was quite impressed with the personnel and pleased with the service. Today I went to the garage because of a squeal in my brakes, and with a cross country vacation just weeks away, I needed to re-check that squeal. I brought my vehicle in at 8 am and by 9:45 am, my car was presented to me with a clean bill of health, and "no charge." What I witnessed was concern for my vehicle and a professional attitude and advice from an experienced team of mechanics, who put my safety and concern without the need to charge for it. He stuck to his estimates and did excellent work. I will be taking the car back to get the other work done soon and for all future maintenance. Chi runs a clean well-appointed shop. He's honest, up-front and personable. His prices are fair and I was impressed by how efficiently he rounded up the parts for my oddball car and the care he took to explain the repairs. I also checked out his stock of tires and he has a really smart selection at very competitive prices so I'll be buying my next set there. UPDATE: When I was ready for new tires I researched online trying to find a set with rugged sidewalls. The few models I found were not available locally or not available in the size I needed. While trying to decide between compromising what I wanted or paying extra to have tires shipped, I got an email from Chi with a recommendation that was even better than my original choices--at a great price.
