Initially, we contacted several Kia dealers and they could not even look at the car for three weeks . Cheri told us to bring it in and they would look at it. I really don't like writing negative reviews since it's kind of a passive aggressive move, but I feel the need to share my experience here with others, especially other women. Ever since I started driving and taking my cars to the shop, I, like many women, am essentially discriminated against for sex by auto mechanics. It's happened every. single. place I've brought my car, aside from Jiffy Lube. However, this was one of the worst examples of mechanics making up shit about my car needing repairs. I brought my car in for an oil change, and I waited a reasonable amount of time. When the guys come out to tell me my car is done, ask, "have you had trouble starting your car?" "No, it's fine." "Ok well it has kind of low battery, your battery needs xxx in order to start and yours only has xx" "Ok I'll think about it thanks but it's running fine" "ok but just letting you know, one cold morning your car probably won't start. You can go home and ask your dad about it but really anyone else would recommend changing it." .....ask my DAD about it?? First of all I am way beyond living with my parents, THANKS. Second, I'm a grown ass adult and can make decisions about my car and other belongings. I'm not a brain dead idiot or child. Go ahead and tell me it's a little low. Whatever. But please don't try to patronize me and make stuff up about it "needing" to be replaced. What made this situation even more obnoxious is that they wrote on the service sheet that my air filters were very dirty, which they did not mention to me. What kind of car place changes your oil but doesn't change your air filter if it needs it? I guess they can tell me about some bogus battery issue but not my air filter. ***major eye roll***. This was almost three months ago. My car is fine. It started in four degree weather. General rule of thumb in my family and my friends (and everyone I know) is you drive the car until the battery goes before replacing it. My parents had a car last fourteen years and never changed the battery before we sold it. What a waste to replace a car battery before it dies. I know they suggested this stupid issue because I'm a woman. Mechanics never say things like this to my husband or male friends. NEVER. read more

Just had our two cars in for the PA state inspection. They got us in really quick, were very accommodating to our schedules and were very reasonably priced. One of our cars needed a new tire and they ordered it right away and will be installed two business days later, plus the quote was very reasonable. For our other car, I had left it at the shop overnight (they have a drop box for keys) without the paperwork. Once they realized this, they called me and let me know and tried to be as accommodating as possible. The inspection was still done the same day, even though they were squeezing me in that day and I caused more than an hour delay. Everyone there was really nice. I waited in the small waiting room with my 8 month old daughter and our stroller--everyone was accommodating and made me feel welcome there. I definitely trust their judgment, plus they explained the whole process (I just moved to the state, so it was good to understand the requirements). After years of having my car fixed at Fred Beans Ford of Newtown, I had to find another car repairs service. After reading reviews on Nextdoor, I decided to take my car to a Vince's Auto Service, which was highly recommended. My car had a big problem - my PCM (powertrain control module) stopped working properly and needed to be fixed. When I brought my car to Vince's, the mechanics tried to fix the old PCM at first, but unfortunately, it did not work. I received a call from Vince's saying since the old PCM was not repairable, they would have to order a new one. While my car was in a shop, Cheri would call me with daily updates about the status of repairs, which I really appreciated. When my car was fixed and I came to pick up my car, Cheri went above and beyond to keep the price at the estimated range she promised when I called Vince's for the first time. It was very rare to find a car repairs business, where people are honest and decent. I was very happy with results - my car was purring like before a new PCM was installed. I waited a month to write this review, to make sure that my car was still working as smoothly, as on the first day after it was fixed. Thank you, Vince's Auto Services (and Cheri) for a great job! From my very first visit for an "emergency oil change" (where they actually stayed open longer to squeeze me in on a Saturday) to my recent inspection I have been impressed. The office staff is attentive and kind, the owner communicates everything you need to know, and the mechanics do wonderful work. I was a client of Vince's many years ago and always had a wonderful experience there. We moved out of the area, and when we moved back 8 years later we took our car to the dealership when the air conditioning gave out. Worst move ever! The dealership performed a "warranty repair" three times on our vehicle and the problem came back within a week each time. Eventually we got smart and took our Honda-CRV to Vince. Not only did their team identify the *real* issue after just a few hours, but they helped me to get the right information to Honda's warranty department so that I could submit a claim for reimbursement. Vince and team (shout out to Cheri) are honest, true professionals with a passion for their work and customer service. We will never trust anyone else with our vehicles, again. You have to get the estimates in writing, after calling to get a price on replacing my headlights in my Honda CRV, just the work I already had the bulbs, the price sounded reasonable around what the Honda dealer quoted since they were alot closer I went there and when I got the bill it was double what I was told......look out... same guy quoted me and took my cash......... read more

This place is excellent. One of the few auto services places you can still do business with, without worrying about getting ripped off. I had been taking my car to a business on Route 1 in langhorne, well known large towing outfit. Every time i had my vehicle inspected it needed brakes. Got tired of being ripped, and found Vince's. Amazing place. I am 60. This is the first ever car service place I have seen in my life where a very busy, talented, skilled and knowledgeable mechanic has an open heart. Chris put me to happy tears. I had a huge problem with my 14 years old car and I could not afford the right, long lasting repair, at the time. I desperately needed my car that did not drive. We are new in the area. Moved for a job that did not happen. Chris was thinking for a moment. He offered a very inexpensive solution that may last for a month, maybe a bit longer. That was all we needed. It has been two months and I can still drive it. As soon as a paycheck comes in I can put in all the needed parts and enjoy for many more years to come. Car is save to drive. The extra effort, extra labor, only a very knowledgeable and loving person could offer. I highly recommend this fabulous place. read more
