We took my Ford Explorer there for the windshield strip and we just went back to get our new F-150's front windows and the windshield strip done. They were great at matching the shade of the rear windows and making sure we liked the placement of the windshield strip. Takes a while to get an appointment. I bought and have a Mr. Tint lifetime warranty plan. It's been 5 years since my car had its first and last window tint done. My cars window tint was due for replacement, i.e., air bubbles, melted tint, etc. They set me an appointment several days later. I come in expecting the tint to be replaced and done that day. I had an appointment so this should go easily. That way I never have to look at this problem or deal with it again for a long time. I bring my car in the day of the appointment and was told they could not do any work on my car tint. Plus, that they had to verify that the warranty work can be done at their business. My time is precious. They could have saved me time and verified this on their own first. Now I'm left driving my car back home with the old tint still on. They were incapable of removing/replacing the rear tint window without damaging the rear window heat features. They suggested I go to Mr. Tint, Escondido. They caused me stress and inconvenience. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location. They won't be my first pick next time. Go somewhere else. read more

I just had the windows tinted yesterday on my BMW 440i. We also had our Lexus LS 460 windows tinted here about two months ago. Could not be more impressed, not with just the windows but the efficiency and professionalism I received from Donny. Not only was he on perfect time to give me a quote, he was on time to tint my windows. I had been meeting with individuals for 7 days to give me estimates on 6 panels or 3 bedroom windows. I chose this Mr. Tint because the positive vibes and extensive information Donny gave me. Every quote I received was a couple bucks higher or lower, however Donny was the only one who gave me information, especially information I didn't think to ask. Not happy with the "warranty" and recommend you proceed with caution if you do business with this company. I had the tint on my BMW 330i less than 6 months with a lifetime warranty. The tint have two small spots that pealed off. On 04/18/2022, I attempted to have the tint replaced under the warranty and was informed it would cost me to replace it. The reason given was that the spots appear not to be a tint issue but possibly caused by something hitting the window like the seatbelt. This made no sense and I asked why was the window not broken if something could hit the window hard enough to knock a chip out of the tint but was given no answer. I asked for the manager and was told I was talking with the manager. I also asked about the owner but was not given an answer. I left two stars only because the initial staff interaction was good but this experience of the "manager" not honoring the warranty is unacceptable. I don't recommend paying extra for a warranty as it looks as if they are not going to honor it anyway. read more
