The hype for the butter chicken birria tacos is real - they're rich, delicious, and flavourful. The butter chicken fried were awesome as well - loaded with fusion flavors. The naanwich wasn't my favourite, but there's more than enough on the menu to keep things interesting. Plus, the staff (shout out Komal!) are incredibly helpful as well. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

Ordered butter chicken taco, lamb fries (it was a special menu informed by the chef, not on the regular menu), tandoori burger, and their homemade drinks, jamaican-chicken samosa. I cannot highly recommend how delicious and unique the food is. One of us is a picky eater (a tourist from Italy) and I worried that the food doesnt pass his tastebud. But looking at how he finished his plate cleanly and him saying the food pass makes all of us sigh with relief. lol. Buttered chicken taco with the dipping sauce is great!! I could drink the sauce! lol Jamaican chicken samosa has a nice kick/heat! the samosa wrap is think and light. The mutton curry fries...whoaaa....thats another level. bit spicier and tasty!!! If only I still have space in my tummy, I'd probably will ordered 1 for myself As my bday gift, I was given (unexpectedly) cookies. The cookies is great. I think it has spices on it!(maybe clove with sth else?) Overall ,everyone LOVE this place. Big group also great for sharing and trying out different dishes looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!

First off - the food in the menu photographs beautifully. The menu looks SO appetizing! I got the vegetarian grilled panini and it was huge!! It also came with a soup (two options, I got the tomato and sweet potato), so at $14 it was a great value. My colleague got a steak and smoked cheese panini which looked incredible as well, and the toppings and sandwiches were just SO fresh. They don't skimp out on the good stuff either, lots of tasty goat cheese on my sandwich...I'm drooling just remembering it! There is a seating area so you can dine in, or take your food to go. The service was friendly and efficient, you can tell they care about the food they're preparing. One thing I will mention - it's MESSY! Make sure you get napkins!

Ordered the chicken avocado wrap with salad AGAIN for lunch and I still love it. Loved everything, loved the interior aesthetic, which is in line with their Montréal restaurants. The salad empire lives on in Toronto! It looks like they are doing really well, as there is a steady stream of customers, even during the afternoon. I'm glad they are expanding their restaurants in Toronto! We need more of these healthy restaurants with a beautiful interior design.

Disappointed, I opted for a new addition, to be told that they could only put the dressing on the side in a take out bowl, as the dishwasher was broken. The whole reason I love this place is because they add the dressing and serve in lovely, large bowls. They also only do takeout if you go in a hour before closing. Will give it another try, but feel it's going down hill. We left and went elsewhere for a salad. If the server had agreed to mix the dressings in the takeout bowls, we would have purchased them. Apparently they couldn't accommodate. I don't want a takeout, deconstructed salad. That's what made Mandy's so good, but I think they've missed that point. The place was empty on an early Sunday evening. Quite disappointing.

The highlights I've sampled across the table is the flavourful pork tomahawk on rice and the umami packed wagyu beef noodle soup. For the apps, I recommend the duck salad. It's quite generously portioned so great for sharing. The egg coffee or pandan coffee is also a must-have treat during brunch. Though the pandan coffee comes with a taller glass, so if you need more of a caffeine fix that might be for you. Reservations highly recommended as they are booked well in advance. We wanted to change the reservation time and it seems like all the times are taken when I checked on Friday for Saturday reservation. Note 20% gratuity is automatically added for parties of 6 or more though they give you a 2hr eating window which is very generous and we never felt rushed. Rest of the review: The other dishes are great as well no complaints, I myself ordered the BÁNH CANH CUA (Saturday special), which is a noodle soup with this thick comforting seafood (and maybe pork?) soup similar to shark fin soup minus the shark fin. It's pretty good, though other restaurants do serve this dish as well, although not as common. They certainly load the dish with plenty of crab meat and shrimp. It's good but personally, probably way too steamy to enjoy during the summer. NOTE: I don't remember ordering the optional crab claw with the banh canh cua, which I think it was an extra charge. It terms of taste, it was okay, not as bouncy and delicious as some crab claws I had at Chinese restaurants and I could've passed on it since I was so full already from tasting the other dishes and delicious apps. We also had the prawn fritters and fried tofu, which was great as well, no complaints. I would've preferred soft shell crab as opposed to the crab claw, which was another option that I notice on the menu now but our server did not ask for our choice. We ordered two banh canh cuas at our table and they served us both the crab claw as default. The steak luc lac was cooked perfectly to our liking, medium rare though I think given all dishes we tried, the steak wasn't as special in comparison. The service was really attentive and they even offered a special pandan cake with ice cream for a birthday celebration on the house. The food quality makes it well worth it. Since this spot is at a more premium price point for Vietnamese cuisine and typically requires a reservation, I'd recommend it more for special occasions rather than casual meals.

Parking is available right by the carousel or you can go underground by the condo complex. Interior is pretty standard. Nice to see that they have tables available for you to dine-in, but I see most are doing to-go, so nice convenience. Staff were friendly and nice to see they are following health and safety quite seriously when assembling the bowls. Food Their food had always been pretty staple, where you can either select a fixed menu setup or build your own poke with a choice of base/protein/toppings. I also like that they have an option to do salad or soba noodles besides rice as the base. I went for the Aloha Honey Ginger Salmon (crab meat slaw * pineapple * seaweed salad * masago) and Mauna Loa Spicy Shoyu Salmon (edamame * spicy cucumbers * spicy seaweed salad * masago) They've got daily specials too, so it's nice you don't have to break the bank. The vibe feels like a mid to upscale Canadian restaurant, with low, atmospheric lighting, candle-lit tables (though ours wasn't lit for whatever reason), and good music. Food tastes great! No complaints there; my entire party enjoyed their meals and drinks. Although they said the bellini was a bit too sweet. Service was very subpar. Although all the employees are kind, they are much too busy running around and helping other customers to provide each table with great service. It took forever to catch our server's attention. We were celebrating a birthday and asked our server for the complimentary birthday treat (which was some sort of crème brûlée dessert) and after we did, it took very long for it to be brought out and we went over our 2 hour time limit. We thought she might've forgotten. As well, when we asked for our parking validation, our server walked away with our tickets without letting us know they'd be brought back by another employee. I really don't think the price of the meal justifies the mediocre service, but happy hour might be better? The underground parking is also a turnoff - pretty confusing trying to find it and navigate inside. Overall not a great experience coming here, but it wasn't the worst time.
