Food was delicious!!! Employees are very friendly. Prices are very fair. Blows away El Pollo Loco.

Finally stopped here after driving by on deliveries for the last few months. Hard to tell when it is open sometimes but there were cars do I stopped. Just had the Rico Special which was a couple pieces of chicken, rice and tortillas. Chicken was really good and the rice had lots of veggies in it. Carrots, peas, beans +. The tortillas when hot and greasy and the price very fair. Do not let the outside fool you the good and service was very good. Only reason for 4 stars not a lot of places to eat inside the place. if driving close by and what some grilled chicken stop, it is worth it. read more

Horrible vibe. Dirty. Unorganized. WAY Over priced. They have 2 dogs inside at the back kitchen area- that should have been our first clue. You need to reassess, regroup, reorganize, clean up, and START OVER. As a former restaurant owner I will tell you, you are way off track. The inside is like sitting in a prison. The vibe is dark, dingy, filthy and depressing. Restrooms are next level awful. Nobody had a good time: The tacos were okay, basic, definitely not worth the pricing. We eat at taco trucks, meat markets and family owned hole-in-the-wall Mexican food all over Houston and surrounding areas with our entire family and have never come close to what this place charged us. read more

Quick service. Order before and they will have it ready for you when you arrive. The pollo (chicken) is delicious. Think weekend carne asada with friends and family. Their burgers are flavorful and way better than your typical Whataburger. Great combo prices and they serve big plates. read more

Mr-Rico Pollo Loco - El servicio super atento!!! Los sabores y frescura Pueden mejorar.... - Food Trucks Near Me - Spring, Texas

Yummy fajita tacos. On point served with cilantro and onions. Green salsa was spicy and filled with flavor. This guy started in a food truck and now he is in a small building that seats about 28 people. They also have speciality burgers, quesadillas, burritos, stuffed baked potatoes, tortas and chargrilled whole chicken. Pollos Asados. Very affordable prices. I Will come back and try other dishes. read more

Mr-Rico Pollo Loco - a plate of tacos and a drink - Food Trucks Near Me - Spring, Texas

The food is amazing, my boyfriend and I come here often or order to go. Our favorite is the baked potato with steak and elote! MUST HAVES there were a few incidences where we tried to call and order and no one answers the Phone or they would be closed in the middle of the week without mentioning that they were closed on their website. Reason why I took a point off Bc it could be frustrating read more

Hands down the best chicken, the best red salsa for the chips, the rice and charro are amazing and such a great price for a whole chicken meal, that can feed the whole fam. It's my go-to. And we love it. No se vayan nunca de la Robinson rd. Translation: Don't ever leave our neighborhood. read more

Been living in the Rayford/sawdust area since October and I've finally found a good legit authentic Mexican spot. I'm a Chicano from Houston, so I know good Mexican food when I eat it. My wife and I were super hungry today and I had been seeing this place on my maps. So we decided to give it a try. I ordered the mix Plate for two. Let me just say hands down everything was A1! We both agreed that it was super delicious! The ribs were good, the fajita was good and the sausage was good. The chicken was good too and the salsa's were good too! Can't wait to go back!good food if your in the are!! read more

Hidden away small business with good tasting food. Excellent customer service. Food was fresh and actually had taste. Not much seating area, but they are good for to-go. Call to make sure grilled chicken is available, they may run out for the day. Pricing is reasonable. Appeared family friendly ambiance and quiet. A must visit place. read more

These are the best in the area. Staff is very friendly. I love their food, rice is cooked to perfection and their salsas are spicy. Plenty of tortillas as well. read more

We order from Mr. Rico's about every 1-2 weeks. The baked potatoes with steak are bombbb. My hubby loves the mixed plate, which consists of ribs, beef, sausage, rice, tortillas, and a side of onions, lime, and salsa. My son always gets the burritos. The portions are huge so we always end up with leftovers. read more

I was looking for a lunch spot and found this place on Yelp. The chicken was okay. It was dry and not fresh. The sides were terrible. The beans were bland and did not have many beans. The rice was okay. The guacamole was also terrible. The host was not very friendly and the service was not very good. I rate this place a 2. Not going back read more

The food was really good, no complaints there, but I was disappointed to see that none of the staff wearing a mask when I walked inside. Will be asking for curbside next time I come there, if I return at all. read more

Really good chicken. I can't wait to go back and try much more. Location is small with dinning inside but to go seems to be the normal option. read more

Decent but pricey for what you get in my opinion. Enjoyed talking to the two people running stand. I loved the bus. It's a cool place and I will return, but I thought the fajita-quesadillas were not quite worth what I paid. read more

This is what I'm talking about when I said tacos best tacos ever. Very tasty and their sauce also. Tacos and baked potatoes are great.

Some of the best chicken you could ever hope to find. Friendly staff. Parking is a bit odd and there are no clear signs. Great food though and decent prices. read more

I kept seeing people post on my foodie group about this place and I was surprised that there were no Yelp reviews for it. We finally decided to give it a try. Upon pulling up I was surprised to see that it was in somewhat of a food truck park setting. There were several other food trucks in the same parking lot. I liked the wide variety of options. We went with a plate of fajitas, sausage, grilled chicken, rice, beans, and grilled onions. My favorite were the fajitas, sausage and the rice. The beans were a bit spicy for me, but my husband loved them. The chicken was a little dry for me, but my husband enjoyed it. I could definitely see myself coming back and trying more things on the menu! Their fajita baked potato looked fabulous! That's next on my list of things to try. read more

For a 10 minute wait and $3 a corn, I really expected more. No wonder they took Elotes off their Waiter delivery, everyone's look of disappointment probably looked a lot like mine. When we questioned the size, the lady told us she just assumed we'd been there before. read more

Been there three times already. First time they messed my order up, second time, they messed it up Again. Still wanting to give them another chance I went back. I usually call in my offer and when I did the owner told me 15 minutes till ready. Upon arrival they were still preparing my order and Told me it would take 20 min. The weather was bad and I didn't want to wait in the rain. The owner started yelling at me and was extremely rude. I will never go back to a place that clearly has no customer service skills. I will now take my money else where. Besides they aren't that great and the food is average for the price you pay. Thanks but no thanks. The rudest owner ever. read more

Been here a few times since the location changed hands from the owners of Moyz- I was happy they are trying to keep some of their old menu items, but they they aren't really the same. The lady who take your order is very nice, talked to her each time we come in. The first few times I got my old staple which was tacos and honestly they were kind of meh. Their specialty apparently is the grilled chicken so we tried that instead--OMG delicious! It's like 13.95 for 8 pieces of chicken (which is like a whole chicken!) with a small rice, beans, tortillas, grilled onions, limes, and salsas. THIS is what you should order, it's so so good and tons of food! I love their fresh green tomatillo salsa, ask for some on the side of you don't get it! read more

Meh. Not inspiring at all. Just a lack of flavor for everything. That includes the chicken and all the sides. For really good pollo asados, go to the one next to Wolfies and the Firestone station. That place rocks!! read more
