Finally stopped here after driving by on deliveries for the last few months. Hard to tell when it is open sometimes but there were cars do I stopped. Just had the Rico Special which was a couple pieces of chicken, rice and tortillas. Chicken was really good and the rice had lots of veggies in it. Carrots, peas, beans +. The tortillas when hot and greasy and the price very fair. Do not let the outside fool you the good and service was very good. Horrible vibe. Dirty. Unorganized. WAY Over priced. They have 2 dogs inside at the back kitchen area- that should have been our first clue. You need to reassess, regroup, reorganize, clean up, and START OVER. As a former restaurant owner I will tell you, you are way off track. The inside is like sitting in a prison. The vibe is dark, dingy, filthy and depressing. Restrooms are next level awful. Nobody had a good time: The tacos were okay, basic, definitely not worth the pricing. We order from Mr. Rico's about every 1-2 weeks. The baked potatoes with steak are bombbb. My hubby loves the mixed plate, which consists of ribs, beef, sausage, rice, tortillas, and a side of onions, lime, and salsa. My son always gets the burritos. Upon pulling up I was surprised to see that it was in somewhat of a food truck park setting. There were several other food trucks in the same parking lot. I liked the wide variety of options. We went with a plate of fajitas, sausage, grilled chicken, rice, beans, and grilled onions. My favorite were the fajitas, sausage and the rice. The beans were a bit spicy for me, but my husband loved them. The chicken was a little dry for me, but my husband enjoyed it. I usually call in my offer and when I did the owner told me 15 minutes till ready. Upon arrival they were still preparing my order and Told me it would take 20 min. Been here a few times since the location changed hands from the owners of Moyz- I was happy they are trying to keep some of their old menu items, but they they aren't really the same. The lady who take your order is very nice, talked to her each time we come in. The first few times I got my old staple which was tacos and honestly they were kind of meh. Their specialty apparently is the grilled chicken so we tried that instead--OMG delicious! It's like 13.95 for 8 pieces of chicken (which is like a whole chicken!) with a small rice, beans, tortillas, grilled onions, limes, and salsas.
