SO GOOD! i wish we had one of these places in Boston!! they're so light and crispy and fluffy and just absolutely amazing! we ordered a box of 12 with half chocolate hazelnut and half double chocolate and it was AMAZING. my mouth is watering just thinking about it! too bad i didn't take a picture of it! :( we ended up coming back yesterday and got another box of 12 with half strawberry and half salted caramel. the strawberry was delicious! i didn't really care much for the caramel though. i wanna buy a box and bring it home to boston but it won't be as good by the time i get home after a 6 hr drive guess i'll have to stuff my face with as much as i can before i leave !! read more

We got 12-pack, and we got to choose two flavors. The most popular ones are sugar cinnamon and chocolate biscotti, and it was purely amazing. We were in a hurry to leave so we couldn't wait for 15 minutes for a new hot batch, but just having the warm puffs made my day 200000 times better. It's so crispy and puffy, I can't describe how magical it feels. We saved 6 of them to the night, with all those Nutella sauce on the puffs, they still stayed super crispy, it just amazed me so much and PLEASE OPEN A SHOP IN TORONTO IM GOING EVERY WEEK FOR SURE PLEASE!!!! read more

Honestly the perfect treat! We ordered a box of 12 with half strawberry and half creamy caramel. They came out hot and crispy on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside. Super sweet and sinful (and not good if you're on a diet). Next time I would get the salted caramel because I think the salt and the sweet would go perfectly on the puff. For the price (5$ tax in), it is a pretty affordable dessert! The staff there were super nice and gave us a box of puffs that were left over at closing, which was appreciated. I just wish that they would have a shop in Vancouver. I was introduced to Mr. Puffs last year in Montreal but at that time there were only 1 or 2 shop somewhere a bit further from where I stayed. This summer, I went to Montreal again and there several shops opened around Montreal. Yummy, crispy, hot treats with your choice of toppings. I can eat this all day long. I brought some back to Vancouver (you can ask them to put the toppings aside) and it was still good for the next few days. It a must try treat. read more

I was sooo happy when they opened a Mr Puffs in Cotes des neiges! It is near a metro which is more convenient compared to other locations. So cheap yet so satisfying! If you have a sugar craving, definitelt consider this place. I ordered 30 puffs for 11$ only! The place is small, they only have 3 tables. Good for take-out. Backstory: I requested my boss who was traveling from Montreal to pick some up for me as recommended by a friend. Although I received it a bit cold (due to wintery weather and flight), I found them deliciously decadent. So when I had the chance to visit Montreal this weekend, it was high on the list of must-eats!!! On this 3rd visit, my friends and I came for more puffs (Loukoumades or small versions of malasada). This visit, we ordered 2 boxes of 50s each. First box: salted caramel, honey, strawberry. Second box: chocolate hazelnut biscotti, chocolate hazelnut, maple syrup The puffs were freshly strained from cooking in oil and I was definitely on a sugar high just watching them drizzle each flavours. Nom Nom Nom Nom that's all you could hear while my daughter was destroying a puff hahahaha. She's a foodie in the making. It's light, fresh, hot and so yummmmmmmy. My favorites are the chocolate hazelnut, my hubby loves the honey glazed and my daughter likes them all equally although I think she might have a preference for the strawberry and sugar loll. The service is always good and fast, well located on cote des neiges right across from the Jewish hospital. They also make some pretty good coffee based drink. I really recommend this place if you are in the area and in the mood for sweets. read more

The perfect dessert. Came here last night for something sweet to eat and this definitely did not disappoint. I ordered a box of 12 puffs to share. We were allowed to choose 2 toppings, which came out to $5 tax in. Very reasonable and affordable for what the product is. Upon finishing up, the employees gave us a second box on the house, most probably because they were closing and did not want the puffs to go to waste. Super kind and friendly staff. Not good! I wanted the wow butter chocolate and bueno. Both the 2 flavors I got were incorrect. I was also the only person inside when I ordered. The 2 ladies behind me who ordered their box of Mr puffs got theirs before me. If I could rate lower than 1* I would! read more

They aren't consistent. When they are busy and there is lots of turn-over, they are AMAZINGGGGG, fresh, hot, and crispy on the outside... But if you go on their downtime, they re-fry them instead of making them on-the-spot, and they are oily, and aren't served hot.... Very disappointing versus other locations. :( read more

Last Friday, a couple guys were handing out samples of their dessert product before the grand opening of their new Mr.Puffs store (corner cote ste-catherine and cote des neiges). By the time I was next in line, they had already ran out. As I was about to walk away, one of the men stopped me and said "its ok! next time" as he handed me a loyalty card with a free box already included. I returned on the grand opening (Monday, march 12) and got that free box, and they were so delicious, i had to buy more before leaving. There was a lineup, but i was served in no time with a very warm welcome, the man making the PUFFS insisted that I try one of their cold specialty brew coffees, and WOW just when I thought it couldn't get any better. Amazing product, amazing service, small but beautiful store. 5/5 will be going back this week again for sure read more
