The texture and flavor of this is something I've never had before. The coffee flavor is strong but not offensively strong. Even if you're not a fan of coffee I'd still suggest you try it. The affogato was lovely with the espresso and gelato mixing it creates that lovely icy texture on the outside. It is more pricey so I'd say the safe crema is the way to go.

The coffee is good (they have non dairy milk). The pastry variety is limited and it changes throughout the year; but everything is always fresh. I've bought the most delicious chocolate+coffee cake from him once. The filling didn't have the same texture and taste as the typical French pastry shops and the croissant shell was so so. I have had their almond cake and it was a bigger success than their almond croissants. The plus side is it's the one of the few places on Queen-Mary that sells pastries so it can come in handy in case of an emergency if you live in the area.
