Don't believe everything you read online. I came here because of the reviews. 4.6 stars. Not…read morebad.... only it was. This was one of the worst acai bowl places I've been to. It's not busy, it's spacious, it's clean for the building it's in. When you walk in, there's no music and it smells like an old pool. The menu has some weird back glow to it where it makes it blue when you try to take a photo. I went with my friend and she purchased an acai bowl, and I ordered a smoothie. They also ask you what base you want, almond milk, oat, etc. Just not whole milk. My first red flag was that the screen does not tell you the price. I had to ask the worker for the prices and it was $8 for my smoothie. Hmm.. okay. For 2025 prices, that's pretty normal. But when I got it, it was already melted. Nearly liquid. I took a sip, hoping maybe the flavor would be good... nothing. There was not an ounce of flavor in it. Not only was it already melted and runny, but I'm serious when I say this was one of the worst smoothies I've had. I literally drove to HEB down the street to buy honey for it, and it just made the smoothie taste like honey with no flavor behind it. And sitting there waiting for it was so awkward. The silence is really unwelcoming added with the buzz of fluorescent lighting. There's nothing really in there except a couple of couches and some tables. I was ready to leave by the time I walked in. I wanted to give it a chance and I regret giving it a chance.

We got power something, it has strawberry, banana, blueberries, peanut butter taste authentic and honey. Unfortunately the acai tastes weird like sour and it was watery. I know it wasn't like that before and feels like rotten.. I'm disappointed.. Cheese bread is plain nothing too special and it was hard. Beef bread was really good tastes like empanadas. Service was good they explained to us about the food and different bowls and toppings. The place is nice and clean, well organized.

This is such an adorable teahouse with really great flavors to match! My first visit to Okie-dokie…read morewas better than expected! Atmosphere: I visited early in the morning on a Saturday as they first opened up. The place was already open and clean offering a nice k-pop vibe. I sat near the window to enjoy the sunlight coming in. The inside was still cool enough to be comfortable. Everything about this place is very green and bright with vaulted ceilings and a nice aesthetic, atmosphere. Flavor: I had the Taro/Ube milk tea and it was perfect. I had 25% sugar so it was not too sweet. I appreciate the choice in level of sweetness. But the best part of their menu is definitely the food snacks. I had the crawfish deluxe fries, which were absolutely phenomenal. So unexpected but definitely the right twist on fries showing they are in tune with the local area and Louisiana influence. I also had the popcorn shrimp which was equally delightful very hot and freshly cooked. Location: This is a really nice low-key place in West Houston that I hope people will enjoy for years to come. There are plenty of vending machine games as well as board games with plenty of space for you to come hang out with friends or enjoy solo time. The only drawback I see is that there does not seem to be enough outlets to charge any devices if you are coming here to study. Overall, it's a great place and I will be back for sure.

I had mentioned that we visit tea houses multiple times a week and her tea is much stronger which I appreciate because most other places are just so so sweet. And she explained that they steep and make their tea every few hours versus making bulk and storing it for several days and that they use a specific kind of organic sweetener instead of fructose which I again absolutely appreciate for my family! I did kumquat aloe vera tea, my boyfriend did the fruit tea, and my son got the mango passionfruit tea- everyone was very pleased! Even if you're not a big teahouse person, this is perfect for there's hot weather go give it a try. We will definitely be back to this location! Oh, and the mini shrimp spring rolls were delicious. The only one suggestion I would have is for them to have hot sauce or Sriracha available, but they come with a sweet-and-sour sauce. We sat next to the tank of blue crawfish and we're highly entertained by how active they are and their funny movements!

Saw an ad on Instagram and decided to give the place a try with pretty low expectations, but somehow those expectations still got lowered. Ordered the Korean short ribs rice to go while my girlfriend got a stew. The stew was actually decent, and she enjoyed it, but my dish was overwhelmingly salty. The rice was drowned in sauce and tasted mostly like heavy soy marinade with very little balance. The short ribs were tender enough, but the flavor was way too strong and one-dimensional. I ended up throwing most of it away after a few bites. Pickup was fast, and the staff wasn't rude, but the food doesn't justify coming back. Maybe other dishes are better, but based on this visit, I wasn't impressed.

I've treated some friends and family to a couple drinks too and they've liked it a lot. The inside is really pretty, I like the plants and there's plenty of seating and outlets if you wanna hang out for a while. The only thing I have a sliiiight nitpicky complaint about is the pricing, like any of the sinkers/jellies/etc. are all 85cents when most places I've tried are 50cents, at most 75. None of the fruit teas come with any jelly or boba even if they have it pictured on the menu, so you'll always pay that 85cents extra for it. The couple desserts they have are pricey too, but I don't really go for desserts along with teas.
