I took my moped into the shop to be repaired because when you accelerate it was dying.was in the shop for aprox 1-2 weeks paid 150. dollars to get it out.Was told it had dirt in the engine,pistons$cylinder worn out.Replaced pistons&cylinder cleaned carburetor & air box. drove it home parked it for 1-2 weeks maybe more because I have a car also. Drove it to my brothers house one night and when I went to start it up it wouldn't start. I thought it was the battery so i went out an bought a brand new battery for 76.00. Still wouldn't start so I called Mr Mopeds back to pick it up and look at it this time they had the bike for aprox 3-4 weeks when they finally called me about my bike they said it would cost 124. To get it out I explained that I had just recently paid 150. to get it out and they stated that unfortunately during the time that my bike sat in the shop Ernie (the previous owner) sold the business and that Ernie's guys had just been putting "band-aids" on repairs to get them out as he knew he was selling the business. I was not happy with this and stated so as I feel when you buy a business especially since my bike was in the shop during the transaction you buy the problems that go with the business, but I paid the 124. on the pretense I will just won't be going back and that at least it's running, I felt though that this was bad business practice. They also said that they had no idea what was done to the bike previously and that that had gotten it running I drove the bike home parked it and about 2 weeks later I went to drive the bike because I placed it on cragslist to sell cause I just don't ride it as much and when you accelerate it dies.I went into to the shop and some guy tried to side talk his way around the issue that they had in not fixed my bike and that I gave them 124.00 for NOTHING. to date the bike is not running. nor did they call me and get authorization to do any work prior to doing it. I've never heard of any motorcycle or scooter shop charging a drop off fee to have something serviced, and there ARE other places to go. So that's where I went. Shame on you. read more

I've has such a bad experience with this place I was compelled to sign up for a yelp account just to write this review . I've been buying things from Mr moped for years now , but in the last year the place has been taken over by junkies and is not somewhere you want to do business with. My last interaction was for a simple moped part, I could have ordered online myself and had in with in two days , but I figured I'd check to see if they had in Stock first , I called the guy said no but that they were getting a shipment in on saterday and that if I paid now I could get (was Thursday , and amazon was quoting Sunday was the soonest ) so I asked how sure he was and he assured me up and down that the part would be in saturday, I pay and go on my way , 3pm Saturday no word yet so I call , another gentleman answers and he say "oh we never get shipments on the weekend he just lied to you it'll be in monday" I was pissed , I asked why, why would he lie to me like that , the answer ohh they get commission, I call Monday , nope it won't be in till Tuesday , Tuesday comes , I get a call , I show up , it's the completely wrong part . By now I've wasted 4 days on something and tied up $100 for some crack head to get a $10 commission I will never do business with this company again. My problems with mr. Moped started last year around August. these are the most rudest people I've ever scene in a place of business. no respect, this is the second altercation I had with the manager there. I was with my son took his tire to be fixed. the little manager said to my son if your dad wasn't such an asshole you could get your tire fixed. right then I should have jumped over that counter and whipped his ass. but I held my composure and told him to respect my son. he kept going on and on I told him don't let this business give you some false sense of security I will whip your ass. respect my son I said that about 3 times to him. I didn't want my son in this kind of situation, so I got in my car and I left. just pure rudeness. Just yesterday April 5th 2016 someone call me from there by mistake so I ask him for the owner's phone number.he said he would have the owner call me.he called me and I tried to talk to him about the problems I had with his manager and his attitude, his poor customer relations skills. the owner is no better than the manager he actually called me a fucking nigger on the phone hung up, then call me right back with more obscenities and hung up again. The owner seemed like a very nice guy when I first frequent the establishment to buy my sons dirt bike after that everything changed. I honestly think they don't like humans.I wouldn't refer this place to anybody. not even my enemies. Please go back and read the reviews on mr.
