Went there for an oil change and to check out if I have any issues with my car, since I have an engine check light. The professionalism wasn't there, wanted to give me some average oil even though my car requires best oil, which I personally had to tell them. Then told me nothing about the engine. Speed: Took 1.5/2 hours to get the oil that I wanted and change it. Value: Terrible, paid $220 for an oil change, where I can go and spend $250 at the professional shop, with all the original parts. Overall: Very disappointing, do not recommend.

I was originally quoted one price for the repair, but later I was told the cost went up because I "needed hoses added," with no clear explanation or proof provided for why those parts were necessary. There was no documentation, no visual inspection shown, and no real breakdown to justify the added work--just a verbal claim that it was required. On top of that, the final charge ended up being more than 3x what the same OEM part is listed for at Ford, which raises serious concerns about how the pricing was marked up and presented. The issues didn't stop there. This happened on a Friday. I was told my car would be ready before 4:00 PM, but around 4:30 PM I only received a last-minute text update. I arrived at approximately 5:09 PM, and the shop was already closed. There was no one available, no way to speak to anyone, and no reliable way to get updates or access my vehicle. Because of the timing and the fact that it was already Friday evening, my car would have been stuck there all weekend until Monday, which directly affected my work schedule. I had to go out of my way to find and contact the owner myself just to avoid being left without my vehicle for multiple days. While I did get my car back, the overall experience felt inconsistent, poorly communicated, and not handled in a transparent or professional way

Took car back in. They had to replace it as it was under warranty. Turns out the first one was not 'new'. I would not go back here again if you paid me. They also list a charge for rags they used in the shop on your bill. What a joke and a rip off. Stay far, far away.

They try and upsell you on many add ons that you don't need for your car (fuel injections, tires that have just been replaced, etc) regardless of the car's age/value, and they frequently do an upsell of about 180 dollars to go deeper than the "free inspection". This add on inspection is very thorough though, and they take videos of different parts of your car, with detailed descriptions of each that you can access for 30 days. Just for full transparency on my car's problem, I had a check engine light go on after a 15 hour drive, and after 1,200 dollars of work, the issue still persisted. They ended up giving me back my car, and quoted me another 5 grand for a very labor intensive part (head gasket), and were very pushy both times with getting me to sign and order the parts right away. I ended up getting a new car since the repairs were worth more than the vehicle, and they didn't offer towing services to the new location. They also took the windshield wipers off of my car before I picked it up to trade in, so I had no wipers?? Overall I think the car was more the issue than Jim Taylor, but I wish I knew all of this info before I came here!

Excellent service with reasonable prices…read more I was driving home through Palmetto yesterday evening after work and my front brakes started to lock up. I remember dropping a coworker there about a year ago at this shop to pick up her truck and that she was happy with the experience and pricing. Even though they were just closing the shop for the day, they took the time to listen to my vehicle's issues and schedule an appt. for the next day. The next morning they called to discus the issues, repairs needed, and pricing. They had already ordered the parts the night before and promised my car before the end of the day. The car was completed as promised and they also looked at my rear brakes and parking brake per request. So impressed, I decided to leave my secondary vehicle for an inspection of the shocks/suspension. I drove the aforementioned car home with no issues today. I will repost Part 2 when the second service is complete. They appear to be an accomodating, knowledgable, and honest shop. Part 2: my jeep.was completed as promised - the next day. The mechanic was able to reproduce the issue I described of my suspension and fully corrected the problem. Again, price seemed fair for the work performed and the associate on the phone was able to clearly communicate the word required both before and after the work was comoleted.
