I brought the stuffed giraffe into their store this morning, (in a panic because my Chewy delivery was sent at 9:30pm last night to a wrong house, sadly) trying to make her 1st birthday memorable (and we both love this giraffe) and they were able to sow the head, AND the ear back on!!!! All this in under 3 hours of time. We are on our way to go pick up the giraffe so that my pup can probably rip it's head off again. THANK YOU And Sew On! Thankful that Family Sewing is still there and close to where I live. The reviews are good. I think it's the same place my son in law purchased my daughter's machine 7 years ago out so. We also took a rag quilt class shortly after that. Yay...still around even after COVID!!! I give them a call Friday early afternoon. I speak to Larry. Explain my situation. He says I can bring it in and he'll take a look and give me an estimate. I'm hoping I can get it back ASAP. I'm able to get there Friday at 5:40 pm, hoping he can get to it before the end of next week. He stops what he was doing. Shows me how to take a few parts off the bobbin area. Proceeds to clean it...it has sticky residue from no-sew Velcro...he cleaned it up. Less than 20 minutes and I'm out the door to work on my project! Larry was awesome! The price was right. The service was excellent. The turn-around time was unbelievable! Thanks, Larry! My daughter's machine will be there tomorrow for a cleaning!

However, when my son needed a suit for prom and graduation, I wanted to get him something new that could last him a while. However, I have no experience buying suits I have absolutely no idea how to measure one for a suit. Fortunately, Woodland tailoring was recommended to me. We went on a Saturday in April. The place was packed with prom and wedding parties. I was a little dismayed initially, because there were only two gentlemen working and about 30 people in the store. I prepared myself for a wait. Much to my surprise and amazement, the gentleman worked through the line almost magically. After about 10 minutes, it was our turn and it only took a look for him to pull a suit off the rack for my son to try on. No measuring needed he just knew exactly what he needed with a look. That's how you know you are with people who know their stuff! It needed some minor alterations which they do in-house same day!. 30 minutes later, our suit was ready. He threw in a vest and we got a shirt and we were out the door for $210, honestly, that was one of the easiest things we did that day. If you need men's formalwear for any occasion I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic experience!
