If I could leave negative stars I would! I was excited that there was a Mr. Gyro in Stuart after moving from the Palm Beach Gardens area. I worked all day placed and order and come home to missing items and no even yogurt sauce given with the Gyro. The woman answering the phone is a complete moron. I will never go to this place again and nor should anyone waste their time. Very disappointed I rather drive 30 minutes to Palm beach Gardens. I should also add that the woman did not hve her mask on and only put it on when I came to the register as I watched her out in on while walking towards me!! read more

I would give 0 stars if possible but I have ordered from here a few times and each time getting worse than the other. This day, order 852, I told the woman 3-4 times what I wanted and she repeated it back wrong and I corrected her again, 2 gyro dinners, 2 gyro souvlaki's and a mixed gyro with no side. I got 2 lamb and beef gyros with no sides, 2 beef and lamb gyros with fries and a mixed gyro with side. Almost completely opposite. Then when I called back she wasn't rude but was arguing with me saying I was wrong but if I wanted to come back I can, but I ordered because I have 40 minutes for lunch and I don't have time to return. Needless to say, I'm never going back. Also the food is cut from a round chunk of meat, so it definitely isn't authentic. read more

Pleasantly surprised. Super fast service which is a plus when on your lunch break. I ordered the lamb gyro platter and the meat was delicious, very flavorful not bland like someone had mentioned. I do think that in the future I will ask for it without the lettuce and tomatoes as I felt it left much to be desired which is strange considering when I do order a gyro I keep these toppings on it. Maybe it had to do with the wonderful flavor of the meat and how much I enjoyed just that alone. I had the greek fries which were fries with a ton of feta on them, yummy. Their tzatziki sauce was very tasty although a bit thicker than what I am accustomed to. $9 for the the gyro and fries. I will definitely be back and everyone in the office is going tomorrow as they too loved the meat (gave them some to try). Next time I am ordering a greek salad with lamb. The portions were large but some of the meat was dry. My husband and son had the chicken/beef gyro and my daughter had the chicken skewer and it was dry as well. One of the sides they ordered was not available and we were given fries instead without being told in advance. I ordered the pastichio with side salad and lemon potatoes. The potatoes were great and I was pretty pleased with my meal. What bothered me most was that one of the employees had their small child sitting in a stroller in the kitchen and it was crying. Not only is it unsafe but the child was obviously unhappy being strapped in and everyone else had to listen to it. We found one of our new favorite places! Finally! We severely underestimated the portions when we ordered from here last week. Granted, my fiancé and I always end up over ordering but to our surprise we were taken back by the sheer size of our order once we received it. We ordered the Tzatziki appetizer and were shocked by the amount we received. It was good but we usually prefer it when it's a little more chunky. I ordered the Gyro bowl and again I was taken back by the amount of meat stacked on top. Most places make bowls full of everything else but meat. It was absolutely delicious and next time I'm going to ask for extra rice. My fiancé ordered the traditional gyro and was shocked by the amount of meat in it that he removed some and was able to make mini gyros with the pita we received from our Tzatziki. He got the potatoes as a side and though try were flavorful they will a little undercooked. We ordered a side of feta as well as a side of gyro meat. (Since we've never ordered from here before we assumed that the portions would be much smaller since that's what we are used to in Miami). We had so much food leftover we are it for dinner and lunch the next day. The flavors were wonderful and we even got a free desert (not sure if it was intentional or accidental but it's okay it was delicious). I'm originally from NY so my food experiences are jaded. It took awhile to find good pizza, chinese and deli food in Florida but I eventually did. Good Greek food has been elusive until I ate at Mr Gyro in Stuart. I can't speak for anything on the menu except for the traditional gyro they make. Very, very good. Plenty of meat, excellent pita and the taziki sauce has a mild but flavorful finish. For 8 bucks with a nice size greek salad my search is finally over. read more

We came when it first opened about 2 years ago and it was great. We went last night and it was not good at all. The kids chicken skewers tasted like spongy chicken, so they gave us the gyro chicken and that wasn't fresh either. It tasted like it was frozen and not right when you bit into it. My husband had a sausage gyro and it didn't look cooked all the way through. The cashier was on her cell while all the tables sat dirty. Seems like its gone down in quality to us. Fantastic Greek deliciousness .great tzatsiki sauce. Had falafel as appetizer. You get 3. Lamb gyro, and pork souvlaki made into a gyro for me. 2 cokes . Total cost Under 30 bucks. Excellent Greek food. My husband and I shared the falafel app and the gyro combo with Greek salad. Plenty of food. The falafel was so flavorful with a crispy outside and soft inside. The gyro was seasoned well, not greasy at all and on a soft pita - so good! We even shared a baklava. It was amazing, not too sweet, just right! Always in search of a good chicken gyro, and found it!! The chicken is not like ordinary gyro chicken, it's well seasoned and cut bite size. We are fans of Olympia, and this is just different. The food was amazing. We ordered 2 gyros and a side of frys. The service was terrible! The cook was very rude. Half of our party ordered and got their food. When the second half got there, they were at the register trying to decide what to order, and the cook got impatient and said, "too late," removed the lamb/beef from the spit, and placed it in a white bag. I think he was throwing it away. Needless to say, the 2nd half of our group didn't get to eat. The sign outside says that they close at 8:00 and it was only moments after 7:00. They said they didn't get a chance to change their sign yet. Not acceptable. Another couple came in just a few minutes after the meat was removed, and they were turned away even though the sign clearly states that they are open until 8:00. The least they can do is put a homemade paper sign up stating the new hours. Very unprofessional place. I will not be going back, and it's a shame because the food was delicious. The cook mentioned that he was the only cook working the whole day. That's very terrible management, if you ask me. I realize that this guy was very tired, but that didn't excuse him from throwing the meat away in front of our faces right before they were about to order. I'm just very disappointed. read more

Love this place!!! My friends and I go in all the time. The service is wonderful and I can't get enough. The combo gyro (made with beef, lamb, and chicken) is definitely my favorite. Their tzatziki sauce is homemade and so creamy and amazing, some the best I've ever had!! Along with that I love their fries and sometimes I'll even get the greek fries (handcut fries with lots of feta and some seasoning). The roasted potatoes are to die for and their spinach pies are so fresh and flaky. I would recommend this place to anyone. Its in the TjMaxx plaza between TjMaxx and Rack Room Shoes. Really disappointing! Falafel was just horribly salty! Yech. Not even edible. Tahini sauce was unlike any tahini I have ever had before. It was sweet like a desert sauce. What's up with that? As a side dish I had the green beans in tomato sauce. I liked the flavoring of them very much, however they were only cold to lukewarm, not hot as a HOT dish should be! Didn't eat much of it, so hope I don't get ill. Also had the pork souvlaki; a little on the dry side, but it was seasoned well. Service was fast enough; staff was courteous; portions were good sized, but between the extremely salty falafel, lukewarm green beans, and wierdly sweet tahini I will probably not be going back any time soon. read more

We tried this place recently and ate a fabulous lunch! the plates were FULL of fresh yummy Greek food. the service was very nice. the setting is modern and relaxing. the prices were great.
