Misplaced the prepaid order and could not find it. Arrived when online said it would be ready. Does not appear to be linked to real loading. After being recommended this place by multiple coworkers I came out to Mr. Gyros in Stevensville for dinner with my husband.  The owner took our order and chatted with us as we decided what we wanted.  I really vibed with him and enjoyed the overall attitude of the employees. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink.  The guy was even willing to mix 2 sodas (mountain dew and dr pepper) like he wanted.  My husbands first comment was "this looks like a 'Good Burger' from the movie.  He said the fries were nice and crispy.  We hadn't even driven out of the parking lot yet and was already noisily eating his food.  He finished his burger, got out of the car, went back inside and ordered another.  I was so surprised.  I couldnt believe he loved a burger from a gyro place. I got the gyro sandwich, minus tomato add feta.  I was trying to wait patiently for my food but my mouth was watering in anticipation.  Since my husband ordered another burger I ate my sandwich inside.  Oh man, I loved it.  As most gyro places I recommend getting extra sauce although it was still amazing with the normal amount. I will definitely be coming back and based off my husband we may be back weekly.  Also, I know I heard at one time they didn't accept credit cards but that has changed.  See ya soon. read more

Okkkkkkkkkkk so twice in a row a walk up & order restaurant normally not a fan buttttttt; I had chili dog special - 2 dogs (one came home) medium fries for $ 5.50. pleasantly surprised I might say. Daughter in law had gyro it was huge & delicious, zucchini fries and backlava. All wonderful. Backlava made in house btw It was clean and very pleasant workers. Mr Gyros. Damn. My fiancé and I checked it out for the first time ever tonight and it was absolutely amazing!! My fiancé had his first gyro EVER, and fell in love! The meat was cooked perfectly & had outstanding flavor! I had the chief special of a sticky chicken sandwich, and they weren't kidding about the spicy! The flavor was ON POINT! The cheese was melted perfectly (I like my melt cheese) and the ingredients tasted fresh, legit, and were a combo of goodness! I can't wait to go back! We also got to try the spicy ranch... this stuff was LEGIT. The spice was original and tasted amazing, just enough kick to keep you dipping your fries in it! We sampled the in house-made honey mustard, and for not being big honey mustard fans, we were licking our chops! Finally we had the baclava (I probs butchered the spelling) but it's the flaky stuff with honey, nuts, citrus and a lot of goodness! They tried out this new baclava and damn. It was so good! The flavor was rich, fresh, and so complementary of everything in it...just outstanding! The owner was so nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable! He helped us out a lot since it was our first time and we are so thankful for his help! The entire staff was so warm and welcoming, they were great! Was very tasty if a little confusing. We viewed a menu online for a business with the same name (not sure where they are though) and it was entirely different. See my pic for the real menu. A note that I'd offer is that at a gyro place, people expect to be able to get a chicken gyro and one is pretty much offered in the "Chicken Pocket Sandwich". My wife had one and enjoyed it but it lead to lots of confusion when we decided on the order so I'd suggest renaming it or just offering the same thing under two names :) We're checking out the correct menu and picking out what we're going to get next time. read more

Picked up birthday dinner for my daughter since COVID shut down indoor dining. We ordered our favorite- the gyro platters. They were delicious as usual!! Love the french fries. Much better than previous string fries. When I mentioned it was my daughter's birthday- chef told me that he had to send her a dessert- chocolate gluten free cake-heaven!!! I was a pastry chef in my younger years and this was almost better than mine! Not only did he plate up dessert for her but the rest of us as well!!! I guess customer service didn't carry over with the new owners of Mr Gyro. Took two gyros to go get 15 min home only to realize they failed to out the sauce in the bqgs so I drive 15 minutes back to be told they won't remake the food, the owner supposes I eat cold gyros and fried mushrooms, after already having to drive 30 min round trip because of their mistake. And refuses to acknowledge he is wrong, all the while shooing me out of the restaurant like a vagrant or something. Will never see a dime of mine again. Perfect. Independent, family run gyro joint. Every single time I come home from Chicago my mouth waters for the Greek Chicken Salad. The chicken is tender and spiced perfectly, the homemade dressing is delicious and I love all the toppings, including the side of warmed pita. I have been eating here for at least 12 years and I have not found a salad to beat it (to it's caliber) even in Chicago's greek town. I've lived in several major cities and have not found a gyro to beat the ones here in Stevensville! When ever I am in the area visiting family I make sure to stop here! The traditional gyro meat is amazingly flavorful, tender, not at ALL greasy like most you'll find in other restaurants. The tzatziki sauce is some of thes best I've had as well!
