Consumer Alert: My Experience with Mr. Glazier LLC - A Warning to Homeowners By Leonard Tucker I believe consumers deserve to know my experience with Mr. Glazier LLC before hiring the company for home improvement projects. On May 1, 2026, I contracted with Mr. Glazier LLC (Estimate #12792) to replace three aluminum double-hung windows, including a frosted bathroom window. The estimate represented a 2-3 week lead time and required a 50% deposit before work would begin. fileciteturn0file0L1-L31 fileciteturn0file0L32-L54 Before signing the contract, I specifically informed the company that these windows were needed to correct New York City Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) violations and to comply with an active Queens Civil Court order. I explained that failure to complete the work on time could result in court sanctions. I was assured that my project would receive expedited attention. Unfortunately, that did not happen. A Pattern of Delays My experience included what I viewed as a series of avoidable problems: Initial measurements were taken incorrectly, requiring a second measuring appointment. The company allegedly failed to notify me that the first measurements were wrong, and I learned of the issue only after making repeated inquiries. A subsequent measurement appointment was missed during the scheduled time window, requiring additional coordination with my tenant. The project, which was expected to take only a few weeks, experienced significant delays. Incomplete Work When installation finally occurred, only two of the three contracted windows were installed. The bathroom window--the very window needed to resolve one of the outstanding housing violations--was never installed. Despite this, the company collected the remaining balance of the contract. Even more concerning, I state that I was never informed that one of the windows had not been installed. Had my tenant not advised me, I would have believed the entire project had been completed. Misleading Documentation During my attempts to resolve the issue, the company manager, Marcy, emailed photographs that were presented as evidence that the installation had been completed. Upon reviewing the photographs, I immediately recognized them as photographs taken before any installation work had occurred. After I pointed this out, the company acknowledged the mistake. In my opinion, this reflected poor internal quality control and raised serious concerns regarding project documentation and customer communications. Real Consequences Because the bathroom window remained uninstalled, the HPD violation remained unresolved. As a result, on July 9, 2026, I was found in contempt by the Queens Civil Court for failing to complete the court-ordered repairs and became subject to continuing daily monetary penalties. While the court matter involved my legal obligations, I believe the company's failure to complete the contracted work directly contributed to those consequences. Refund Promises That Were Never Kept After I demanded cancellation of the unfinished portion of the contract and requested a refund for the undelivered bathroom window, I received multiple assurances from company representatives that my refund had been approved. I was repeatedly told the refund would be processed within 7 to 10 business days. That deadline came and went. After numerous telephone calls and repeated promises, no refund had been issued, forcing me to continue pursuing money for work and materials that were never delivered. My Opinion Every contractor can encounter unforeseen problems. What separates a reputable company from an unreliable one is how those problems are handled. In my experience, Mr. Glazier LLC demonstrated: Poor communication. Missed commitments. Incomplete performance. Collection of payment for unfinished work. Failure to proactively disclose that contracted work remained incomplete. Repeated refund promises that were not honored. Advice to Consumers If you are considering hiring this company, especially for work involving court deadlines, building code compliance, or housing violations, I encourage you to: Obtain every promise in writing. Photograph all completed work before making final payment. Verify that every contracted item has actually been installed. Maintain detailed records of all communications. Do not rely solely on verbal assurances regarding scheduling, completion, or refunds. My intention in sharing this experience is not to discourage legitimate businesses, but to help other homeowners make informed decisions based upon my personal experience. I remain hopeful that Mr. Glazier LLC will honor its commitments and finally issue the refund that has been repeatedly promised. read more

WARNING: My experience with Mr. Glazier Group Inc. and Andrii Gurskyi was a complete nightmare. More than a year after signing our contract and paying a 50% deposit, our windows were still not installed. Throughout the process, we were given a seemingly endless stream of excuses: back-ordered parts, shipping delays, manufacturer issues, incorrect deliveries, and promises that the project would be completed soon. Every deadline came and went. Once our deposit was paid, communication became increasingly difficult. Calls and messages often went unanswered, and we found ourselves constantly chasing updates rather than receiving them proactively. The stress, wasted time, and disruption to our family were enormous. The situation became so bad that we ultimately had to pursue recovery of our deposit through American Express. Even obtaining the return of our own money became a prolonged and exhausting process. What concerns me most is that we were repeatedly told that Reynaers products were involved in the project. After months of delays and conflicting explanations, I contacted Reynaers North America directly. In a written response, Reynaers' Managing Director for North America informed me that Reynaers does not have a business relationship with Mr. Glazier Group Inc. and that they have no visibility into the company's sourcing or production arrangements. At that point, my confidence in everything we had been told was gone. Looking back, the biggest relief is that the installation never happened. If the pre-construction experience involved this level of confusion, delay, poor communication, and lack of accountability, I can only imagine the issues we might have faced after installation. Our family lost more than a year, incurred additional expenses, put life plans on hold, and spent countless hours trying to get answers. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Mr. Glazier Group Inc. or Andrii Gurskyi to perform extensive due diligence, independently verify all representations, and think very carefully before paying a substantial deposit. This was, without question, one of the worst contractor experiences we have ever had. read more

Mr. Glazier, Window Repair NYC, and all their cleaning companies - Andrii Gurskiy and his wife Iryna - are liars and thieves. 1. CEO is the person who controls all of the company's money and financial processes. He takes clients' deposits and then scams them. 2. Employees do not receive their salaries and are then terminated retroactively. 3. The company's (CEO's) opinions, processes, focus, and direction change every single day. 4. The way information is communicated is completely toxic, with passive manipulation in every action. 5. The CEO lies by claiming that the company is an authorized representative of various manufacturers around the world, but this is false. If you contact the manufacturers directly, they will confirm that this is not true. 6. He drags out every process and shifts the blame onto anyone who openly asks questions or tries to understand what is happening. 7. Dozens of suppliers refuse to work with the company and with this person because he asks them to ship product on credit and then does not pay them. I did not immediately understand what the real problem was or where all of this was coming from. I kept trying to fix one department after another, one business process after another, one SOP after another. Eventually it became clear: this is a scam, an MMM-style scheme, and the person at the top is the one who benefits from it. If I can prevent even one candidate or one client from getting involved, that will already be worth it. read more

We recently had the pleasure of working with Mr. Glazier at iSugar, one of Times Square's most prestigious shops, and we couldn't be more impressed with their work. I would recommend Mr.Glazier. I called to request a quote on broken glass on 2 windows in my home. The technician arrived within a few hours and gave me a quote on site. He took my window, a deposit and said he would have the window back around 4pm. I received a call before 4:00pm that the technician was on his way with the window. He re-installed my window and cleaned the glass for me. The window looks perfect. John in the office and Vincent, the technician were prompt, polite and very professional. Great experience. read more

I paid a deposit for a window repair and the service was never completed. The company missed scheduled appointments, provided repeated delays, and eventually stopped responding altogether. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, my deposit was never refunded. This experience showed a clear lack of professionalism and accountability. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable service. read more

I had several Andersen casement windows which could no longer be opened because of faulty cranks. The guys from Mr Glazier replaced them and now everything works well. I was concerned about the molding which needed to be removed but the guys took great care and it looks as good as new. They even repositioned the handles such that they're all pointing downward. JOB WELL DONE and highly recommended. read more

Horrible to say the least. I hired this company for a window repair and paid a deposit in good faith. The work was never completed. Appointments were canceled or missed, follow-ups went unanswered, and my deposit was never returned. This company failed to meet even the most basic standards of professionalism and customer service. I would not trust them with your money. Please go elsewhere!!! read more

Very pleased with the work they did in restoring my windows. I certainly will use them again. I recommend them highly. My house is over 100 years old and they replaced sashes, insulation and screens that had been neglected for many years. I can now open my windows without bothering to have something to hold them up and no fear of insects coming into my home. read more
