At first the price was nominal, but as the years progressed they grew to above market rate. The service was sometimes ok, but sometimes not so good. He continually changed workers and the quality showed for at times they would break the glass they were replacing!! One particular time he brought with him this young kid (who looked like he just got out of rehab) who CRACKED a window frame in 2 places while replacing a coil. No apologies, no discount on the charges, no removal of the charge. Mike simply came back with some Gorilla glue! I should of learned my lesson then. Last Spring he came to replace a glass and, again, broke the replacement glass. Keep in mind I have to fight with another window company to get the glass. He kept me with this broken glass for almost a year. He gave me a bill which I questioned for I thought he charged me to replace the glass he broke. So when I asked for a lower bill that's when Mike went off on me. I received multiple calls and texts stating how dare I ask for a lower bill. So, ok, I sent him a check for the $150. Not even a week went by when he harassed me over 2 days for the money. I had already sent the check. I shared with him that his behavior was out of line and disrespectful, he again went off on me on how I was wrong and he was right. I asked for a simple apology and he responded: "lol". So my warning is Mike has no respect for "the customer is always right". If you piss him off he will come at you guns blazing.

They were also extremely helpful when it came to any service items... sending their team back to ensure that everything was perfect. Also, their team was very clean and organized and takes a lot of pride in their work. Jessica even went out of her way to give me a can of extra paint so I could use it to paint something else in my apartment the same exact black used on the windows. I had…read moreoriginally gone with Andersen Windows, but I fired them after the installer came out with a very negative attitude. They were also way too expensive. I decided to go with Euro Windows instead, and I'm very glad I did. I also liked that they are local to Greenpoint. Euro Windows was the complete opposite of Andersen. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional, and helpful. The first person I spoke with was Ewelina, who was very friendly and easy to work with. Then Jack, the owner, came out to assess the job and had a great, positive attitude. My windows are horizontal, which made the job more complicated than usual, but that wasn't an issue for them. The windows they installed are fantastic--high-quality German windows that open both horizontally and vertically. You can really feel the quality when you open and close them, like closing the door of a Mercedes. They also block out a lot of outside noise, and my apartment is much quieter now. I also want to mention the installers. The three guys who did the job worked incredibly hard--from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. They installed the windows and did all the moldings, and everything looks perfect. It really feels like a new apartment. They were also very polite and professional the entire time. In summary, I'm very glad I went with Euro Windows. I got excellent windows at a fraction of the price of Andersen. The quality and workmanship are outstanding, and the whole experience with Euro Windows was great. I highly recommend them.

He agreed to come over that same day to take measurements and order the windows. He said it would take 2-3 days to get the glass, but he would try to expedite it. I can't say enough positive things about Tony, his work and his business practices. He built out a full basement for us which included bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, utility room, closets and even a real cedar closet with actual cedar planks including the ceiling. He has replaced every window in the house with Andersen windows and even added French doors, sliding doors and a box window. He changed every door in the house to solid six panel doors and assisted in the family room and office built in by installing them. He build the most incredible custom walk in closet converting a bedroom into a spectacular use of space. He has renovated 3 bathrooms and kept them updated as needed most recently replacing a honed marble threshold in the shower and reinstalling the custom glass doors. The most recent improvement was the replacement of our gas water heaters since the old ones were starting to leak. He not only upgraded what we had, had the new ones delivered and installed all in one day in order to get us back up and running with little inconvenience. He has installed whole house water filtration, added instant hot and a garbage disposal making sure we have all the modern conveniences a home should have. He treats our home as if it is his own. On a personal note he has seen my children grow up and we have seen his son join his business and grow and learn from the best. The team worked seamlessly with the architect and the inspectors to make sure the permits were all in place. Tony was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
