Once measurements were taken, we were given an estimate for how long it would take to receive the materials. We had to cancel appointments for installations a few times because of weather. There were times when it was difficult to get a response from the scheduler, Nikki; however Patricia followed handled requests efficiently and responded quickly. I was flexible on timing because I had to travel to arrange for the installations. The payments made electronically, which was convenient. The installers were friendly and they did a good job. Paul came over to our house to give us an estimate on replacing hopper vinyl windows back on 4/10/2020. He came on time and the estimate was reasonable, compared to other places. He told us that he would probably get the new windows in a week, and he would be able to install them soon after. Weeks passed by without any phone call with an update. I had to leave several voice messages to Paul and his wife to get a call back. My husband and I were worried that something had happened to them or their family during the pandemic. Finally,when they called back, Isabella informed me that due to the pandemic, the new windows were being delayed at the factory. Given the circumstances, I completely understood; however, it didn't make sense that a customer had to constantly call them for an update. How hard is it to just call us and let us know of the circumstances? It took them almost 2.5 months to get the new windows. It took another two weeks for Isabella to get us on their schedule for installation. Even getting the installation appointment was difficult because Isabella rescheduled me a few times! On 7/20/2020, they finally came to install the windows. The appointment was for 9 AM, but they showed up an hour late without any phone call. Once again, I had to call Isabella to find out why they were running so late. Very unprofessional. One of the workers was constantly answering his phone. Windows were installed in 3 hours, but I think he could have installed it a lot quicker if he didn't spend so much time on the phone. Windows look good so far. Lastly, when we gave his worker the final payment, Paul misinformed us that we owe him $50 more than what we initially agreed on. We had to tell him that according to the receipt, produced by his wife, that was not accurate. Very disorganized. I wrote this company to get a quote first via Yelp, and then through regular email so I could send photos. They were very responsive in emailing me back and forth a few times. The last email I got said a quote would be coming to me shortly and then nothing ever came. I emailed back about 4 or 5 times over the course of about a week to follow up with no response. We had 2 Skyline tilt-and turn windows with mechanisms that were broken by previous workmen (there had been a series of workmen dealing with a flood so we couldn't pin it on anyone who would pay for it.) Atlantic was fantastic. Their communication was prompt and excellent, every time. Denise on the phone was very pleasant and responsive. They gave appointment times that were within 1 hour (not the half-day wait you get from many service people)- and he was actually a little early. Paul was very pleasant and professional and started working right away when he came the first time. He fixed one of the windows then, and the second was scheduled promptly as soon as the part came in. The total charge for both visits and the part was $403.08. And it took under 2 hours in total. Prior to this Skyline had (after much effort on our part) come in to evaluate and give an estimate The total cost that Skyline wanted to charge us, after their hefty initial visit fee, was $1954.31 (including $595 for parts and $1200 for labor). This after it took multiple attempts and messages left without call-backs to reach them to begin with, then 19 days from initial visit to work proposal, then required 2 emails before they answered my question about costs (the 1200 was because the job would take the whole day) after 10 more days. It's a shame to have to write this after seeing so many good reviews for this company. This company took a $500 deposit from me back in the spring, with the promise of ordering parts for our windows. Then came the excuses, one by one... "There's a delay with our supplier," "The supplier lost this order and has to reorder," "We're still waiting to hear back about the parts..." Back and forth, phone calls, texts... Then about a month ago, all communication was cut off. We called - all mailboxes were full. So I figured - let's give them the benefit of the doubt - it's August, maybe they were on vacation. We tried to call today and the number is not working at all. We were able to leave a message for Isabel (to whom I sent the money directly) and are awaiting a call back. If by some chance you read this Isabel, do the right thing and return my money. Update: I called them again because water was leaking through when there were some heavy rainstorms. When Paul the owner doesn't even have the audacity to call and state he was going to be late. He showed up 1hr later then the appt time. He said he was going to send his guys to reseal and caulk which I don't know what cheap silicone they used because the caulk desolved around the window. Do you think they showed up absolutely not. I called a day later to complain about it and like nothing they never called me back or send someone. Their business is horrible. All Paul is punctual to is giving you a quote and getting your money. Nothing else. This company should be ashamed of themselves and really understand that customer service is very important. The only Pro is the installers we're fast and super courteous. Now to be honest the only thing Paul the owner was fast at was giving me an estimate and getting the deposit check. Now don't get me wrong I know that covid has slowed work orders but knowing that I expected Paul to tell me " it usually takes 2 weeks, but with Covid I can't promise you anything." That was never said to me just that we'll be here in 2 weeks. We'll that didn't happen it was more like an additional 2 weeks from our scheduled date. Now I tried canceling one of the windows but Paul cashed the check and told me that he couldn't do anything since the windows are in production and will be installed a few days from there. I didn't get these windows almost 2.5 weeks after trying to cancel. Makes you think that he just never tried canceling it. To make matters worst I had to be the one to call every 3 days to find out where the windows could be. I shouldn't be doing that, they should have been the ones calling and updating me with a status. You would think they would try to compensate for this delay and that wasn't even done. I understand covid has changed things but it didn't change professionalism. read more

I wish I could give this company 6 stars. Excellent, Excellent work! Isabel who does the scheduling is super nice. She is responsive and answered all of my questions. She said that Paul would be coming over the next morning between 10:30 am and 11:30 am. Sure enough Paul was on time. Paul was very pleasant and professional who went above and beyond what I asked him to do. He did great work and cleaned up every single piece of glass that was broken and took them with him.
