Unfortunately, after that things have gone significantly downhill. When the painters left they pushed all of my living room furniture to the middle of the room and said when the crew came back the following week to paint the baseboards and install the doors they'd put everything back. That happened on March 22nd. Since then, week after week they keep promising to try to come back and week after week they are no shows. I even explained to them that our building is expected to have a freeze on construction projects this week due to an impending strike so can they please wrap up this job before then, and they said yes but are now not responding to emails. I hope they ultimately make good on their service contract and I will update this review if that happens. For now, please steer clear, fellow yelpers.

I have to say, they are the most professional, friendly and dedicated team of workers I have come across. I dealt with Wiggy initially over the phone and then Wiggy's dad and brother (Josh) were assigned to get the job done. I know re-grouting may not be an intense task for some, but for many (including myself) who are not as handy, its a serious job which needs to get done right. Let's just say, Mr. Handy NYC (Wiggy's dad and Josh) did an amazing job. Josh spent approximately 2 days to ensure the job was precise and flawless. Last but not least, they are reasonably priced and best part is that they are right down the street from where I live so I know down the line if/when I need other renovations done in my house, Mr. Handy NYC will be my go to folks!! I highly recommend his work…read more He's professional, has a good work ethic, shows attention to detail & is very knowledgable (plumbing, electrical, painting, wallpaper installation, and smaller tasks). I always feel very comfortable with him in my home. Just some of the great work he's done in my place: 1) Installed 2 wall-mounted TV's (55" in my bedroom, 65" in my living room): before installing the TV's - he installed recessed outlet boxes for the TV plugs, which made the TV's flush. They're perfectly mounted and locked into place. The 65" TV is a swivel and it retracts easily. 2) Installed my beautiful Anthropologie wallpaper in my bedroom: He did such a great job lining up the panels, making the proper cuts and removing the panels. Evan around the window, door and outlets - it came out seamless. I'm so pleased with the end result. The bedroom sconces were installed by Bendi as well. Then, he clipped all of the extra wires from the air conditioner, sconces, my phone charger on a wall-mounted power strip underneath my bed frame (so it's extra easy to clean without having to move all the wires). 3) Installed a West Elm chandelier in my dining room & replaced the switch to a dimmer: nothing was there previously, just a cover plate on the ceiling. There was a lot that needed to happen including painting and plastering, renovating the kitchen & bathroom, plumbing and electrical repairs, etc. We were amazed by how quickly they finished everything. The apartment was ready to be listed for rent after only a couple of weeks that they started working on it.
