Super good food, reasonable prices and super fast, friendly service!
Steve H.

Super fresh and delicious! Best that I've had in San Antonio hands down. I got their Bentley G Roll - SO good! Great friendly and prompt service as well. Well worth tracking them down or order through Door Dash.

Sushi food truck? Unheard of until they rolled in my hood.. a little sus, but no food poisoning here haha Spicy tuna roll- 3/5, heavy on the rice, light on the protein :( Unagi/Eel nigiri- 4/5, avg size and taste! Pretty extensive menu and would have love to try more, but prices were definitely on the higher end!

I rarely go to the food trucks that cook to my job but I love sushi, so I looked up the reviews for this location and I just saw they were right on. I purchased the Mr. G's Roll & teka maki. Both were super fresh and super delicious. I followed them on Instagram to try to keep up with them I will definitely be trying them out again! Great customer service and great food!!! You can never go wrong!

Food is very dry. Shrimp is decent. But overall very dry. Unimpressed. More then likely will not return.

I've been following their IG page for a while now and finally had the chance to try them out since they were posted nearby. Never had food truck sushi before so I was a bit skeptical but I still ordered almost $70-80 worth of sushi. Our faves were the Bentley G rolls, jalapeño dynamite, and salmon sashimi. Jalapeño dynamite was crunchy and not spicy at all. Sashimi melts in your mouth. Spicy tuna wasn't anything special but better than what I've had at some restaurants. I wanted to order more but I'll save for next time. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. It's all made to order so it was about a 15 minute wait until my order was prepared. Well worth the drive and money spent. My husband said it's way better than some of the sushi restaurants we've tried. Definitely will go back.

Food was incredible. First time trying it and was not disappointed. Can't wait for the food truck to return.

This was food was horibble! I ordered the chciken fried rice and eggrolls. The fried tasted gross. It tasted like it was old rice and it looked like it to. It was a small portion for the price. The price was not even the problem it was the quality of the food. The egrolls came with 3 egrolls cut in half. They gave me 2 soy sauce packets for egrolls and rice. I paid 18 for this and it ws very disspointing. I dint even fininsh it

I was driving by and saw this lil Sushi food truck and I had to stop and try it, It was exactly what I was craving. I can honestly say the Best Sushi in San Antonio hands down. You all come out and give them a try and I can promise you, you won't be disappointed. Some of the best combination of flavors I ever had with sushi, The chef brings a Latin fusion to asain flavors and its a combo that will have you coming back for more. Simply Amazing Thank you for the experience

I will be honest I was initially intimidated by the menu because the names of the dishes were not what I was used to, but everything was incredible. I appreciate our waiter immensely because he was super patient and didn't rush us. I am a slow eater and being allowed to order and discover this menu was just what I needed. Every dish was honestly amazing. Usually at places there will be a star dish and I felt everything we ordered was stand out! The fish is extremely fresh, the sauces the dishes are paired with are bursting with flavor, and for the times that are cooked, like the octopus, they couldn't have made it better. The interior is simple and elegant and they have a vinyl record player with large speakers that give a great vibe to the place. Not to mention iron their taste in music really makes this place intimate even with the high ceilings. If you haven't been, stop by it's worth every hype and photo you've seen!

This was our first experience at Uni'Ko, and certainly will not be our last…read more Our server was Brian. He was incredibly personable and attentive. Super friendly. The food was incredible. We had sashimi, rolls, appetizers and a bottle of sake. I've frequented many sushi restaurants all over the country for years and this restaurant absolutely delivers. Incredibly fresh fish! Meticulously well prepared and delicious. Wow! So very happy we discovered this place. We arrived early about 3:30pm, so the restaurant was quiet with a few patrons. The restaurant feels romantic with dim lighting and good music. Kudos to the Chef!! Great food. Thank you so much. It was money well spent. Cheers!

My first visit to Uni'ko was an overall success. I had a midweek, early reservation for two. On…read morearrival there was no one yet at the hostess stand but they soon came and got us seated. I was immediately annoyed because the music was very loud to me. That could have been due to the empty restaurant, the actual volume or my perception of the volume lol. I was really hoping for a more intimate vibe for conversation. The speakeasy lounge actually looked more like the vibe that I desired but I settled in and placed my order. I wanted some of the showier selections seen on IG, so I ordered the tuna tower and flaming Romeo & Juliet roll and a cute (albeit sweet) cocktail that came in a goldfish shaped glass. When the tuna tower arrived the young server asked me something several times which I couldn't hear over the music, so I just nodded. After she smashed the tuna tower, I figured out she was asking if I wanted it mixed. Lol my bad! I actually did not want it mixed but it was delicious anyway. The Romeo and Juliet roll took forever to stop flaming but once it died down, it was absolutely delicious. My partner enjoyed his roll as well and they gave him a complimentary birthday desert with sparklers. Overall I give service a 3. I would have liked a more professional presentation of the menu, hyping it up a bit. And a less soft spoken server. The food was a solid 5, everything was fresh and scrumptious. Overall I give Uni'ko 4 stars and I look forward to returning. I thought it was a good value given the extra razzle dazzle and food quality.

Firstly, we had trouble getting an uber at first and when I called the staff was very friendly and were able to hold the table a little longer which I appreciated. The menu is a mix of Asian Fusion small plates and I would have loved to have had more of a sampling of the menu but it wasn't that large of a party. The cocktails were not too sweet and perfectly balanced. The Fist of Fury was so refreshing and the Yuzu margarita was delightful! The plates come when they are ready and I have to say the food came really quick! All of it was fantastic! Surprisingly the shredded vegetable salad was amazing and one of my favorite dishes! The tamarind glaze on the Chicken Karaage was not overpowering and so tasty. The service was amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were a lot of fun. The bathrooms were down the stairs and there was a little bar off to the side. Would definitely go back! I couldn't stop talking about it the next day to anyone that would listen.

Very much a great place for date night or even celebrating someone's birthday which was the case for me. If you go get the steak roll. Sooooo good, steak, caviar, an lobster?!! I wish I ordered it again. Gyoza was aight, the drinks were super good. San Antonio doesn't have that many places that have lychee martinis but theirs were so refreshing and not super sweet. I genuinely enjoyed everything that came out. I've never enjoyed raw seafood on sushi. I'm a basic shrimp or crab girl but somehow this place made me completely love every sushi dish they served. One roll in particular was wrapped in rice paper with a slice of lemon on top, and that was my favorite by far. They also served a variety of appetizers: pork skewers, fried rice, edamame, Brussels sprouts and those were phenomenal too. The service was great, super attentive, and the restaurant itself was cute with a simple, classy vibe. I will definitely be coming back!
