Jos A Bank had a sale going on as well so we visited them to see if we can get a good deal. Danny greeted us right away and asked what we need. He helped with everything-- the measurements, style recommendations, etc. My boyfriend ended up with a good looking suit! They have a clearance section where you can get knit sweaters for $15 as well so we took advantage of that great deal. Overall, it was a $400+ trip but that's the suit, alterations, tie, dress shirt, and the sweater. I think that's a good deal! I ended up buying two tuxedo shirts that had studs and cuff links displayed in the package. I got home and both shirts had only one cuff link. I called the store since I live 45 minutes away and was told that the older version of the shirts only came with one cufflink. He quickly offered to give me the second cufflink for each shirt if I drove back up to the store. I appreciated it, and drove back to the store however I feel this is a bad business practice and was not happy about having to spend another hour and a half traveling back-and-forth to the location.

The fit was so bad I looked like I was getting ready to jump out of a plane in a wingsuit. With the wedding approaching, I came back to Celebrity Tux and Tails, and they were able to get me into something much better on short notice. Where they really won me over was the alterations. I'd lost quite a bit of weight leading up to the wedding and needed some last-minute adjustments. Most places couldn't accommodate me that same week. They took my suit in one morning and had it ready that afternoon! I needed another quick adjustment to the pants later in the week, and they practically handled it on the spot. The gentleman running the shop and his son were both incredibly helpful throughout the process. You can tell they actually know how to tailor and adjust clothing, and being a smaller operation seems to give them the flexibility to get things done quickly. The shop itself is fairly straightforward, tucked away in a commercial area with a good selection of suits and some shoes. Nothing overly fancy, but that's not really what you're coming here for. If you're looking for a reasonably priced suit and people who can actually help when you're in a pinch, I'd absolutely recommend them. You're not getting a fully custom suit, but for the price, service, and turnaround time, they exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back when I need more suits for work.

Not only does he need to rent it once he needs to rent it twice because of when they're going to take pictures. They wouldn't give him two shoes to try on.
