We had received a quote from another company that was extremely high, so, we decided to get a second quote from EGV Sewer. The staff is very nice, they had Armando come out the same day and provide a quote. When I tell it was significantly less, it was!!! EGV Sewer was even doing more work i.e. replacing the concrete sidewalk. Anyway, we had an issue last weekend as we were waiting for the work to be done. EGV Sewer again came out and quickly fixed our issue to give us piece of mind until the work was done. They came out on 7/8/26 and did the repair, we did have an surprise where we needed more work done; however, it was still overall 2k less than the other company. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this company. Great pricing, customer service, and quality work. Thank you Armando and team for fixing our issue. Also, shout out to Katie in the office, so pleasant, and always getting back to me promptly! I am certainly glad this is over but if we ever have any other plumbing issues, EGV Sewer will be my first call.

I sent a video of the issue and was quoted an estimate via the app. Alex sent an ETA text and arrived right on time. He confirmed that the issue was as reported. He confirmed the price. Then he got to work. By the time I fed the dog and checked the mail, Alex was finished! It took maybe 20 minutes - max! I paid via Zelle. Alex provided me with a 30-day warranty receipt. And boom! He was off! That's my kinda serviceman. I only wish he was a general handyman. I need some other work done around the house! Lol!

I asked SBJ Plumbing to install a vanity sink, drain and water connections. Brad did the install,…read moreand charged $1100 which I thought was high but I paid him right before he left. An hour or so after he left, I ran the water in the vanity sink and there was a noticeable leak. He said he would come back a few days later to take a look. He returned and tightened the connections. I again ran the water after he left, and again there was dripping under the drain so I asked him back again. He came back again and did some more tightening and said it should be ok now. I again ran the water after he left and there was still a drip. I then texted him saying that I would like a refund of $350 of the $1100 he charged because the pipes were still leaking and he had already claimed twice that the problem was fixed when it wasn't. He refused and then tried to gaslight me saying actually there was no leaking. So if you want a plumber who doesn't stand by his work, then this is the guy for you (My response to his comments): For the record, here is the text exchange between Brad and Me (and yes I did say "please consider giving me a refund because I don't want to give you bad reviews"--and that is a reasonable response on my part given that I received service that is below what the average person would expect [i.e. 3 visits by the plumber and the sink trap is still dripping]. (From Craig): Brad, The vanity is still leaking and I can't devote any more time to this project, therefore I am requesting a partial refund of the money you charged me. I think a $350 refund would be reasonable. Craig (From Brad): I disagree, the last 2 times I came over there wasn't even a leak. I have gone beyond being reasonable and in reality I should be paid for 2 service calls. (From Craig): Many would ask for a larger if not full refund under these circumstances. I just had Nick come out to troubleshoot a water heater repair caused by a leak from a saddle valve…read moreabove my furnace heading to my furnace humidifier causing the pilot light to go out to to the pooling water and moisture at the base of the unit. The service team was able to fit me in same day by putting me on standby. Nick was able to diagnose, stop the leak, inspect that the leak had done no further damage, and ultimately get the water heater working within 5 minutes of his arrival. Better yet, he said it was a simple fix and did not charge me, but just asked that I keep them at the top of my list for my next job! Very friendly and presentable all the way. He also assessed my heater and said I probably had about another two years to go before needing to replace, and gave me a written quote for a new water heater and to replace the saddle valve with an angle stop. The angle stop cost was a bit high, but the water heater replacement was very reasonable (just being fair). I am definitely going to reach out to them for my next plumbing job.

There was a follow-up call to let me know that they were on their way and they arrived on-time. Everything was done with politeness and professionalism. They even answered all my silly questions from a homeowner that doesn't know much about plumbing. About a week later it became apparent that the drain clog which we thought was cleared had one more surprise in store for us. I called A&D for a return visit and they worked it out again. All has been good since then. They also reworked a bad drain pipe and installed a new faucet in my kitchen as well as installing a new faucet in my utility sink. These were jobs that I had been procrastinating about for years and I was glad that A&D was able to take care of them for me. I am completely satisfied with their work and I will certainly use them for any future plumbing needs.

Had a large corporate company come out for an estimate but the quote was SO high we rejected it. A family member recommended Midcity Plumbing. This company got someone out first thing the next morning,which was amazing since our area was experiencing severe storms and flooding for the past couple of days. No doubt their schedule was busy. The plumber Danny was professional and diagnosed the problem quickly and got right to work. He also took the time to educate my husband on common sump pump issues and tips to keep the sump pump running efficiently. Afterwards he charged us only one third of what the big corporate company wanted to charge us. We will definitely use Midcity Plumbing in the future.
