Many times a change in ownership is a good thing, the Colorado Rockies could certainly use one. But in this case, not so much. I noticed differences immediately once the change happened and actually inquired about it the second time in went in after it was sold. Little things like donuts not being cooked fully or slight differences to the flavor. Seeing the 8-10 donut holes I would always get as a long time customer go to 1 or 2. Slowly I've stopped going to this shop. Today was the kicker! Placed my standard order, 3 old fashion glaze, 3 blueberry, 3 cronuts and 3 maple bacon. Got my 4 donut holes. Then went to enter my loyalty info. I was informed that they changed to a Chase POS system and didn't have a way to transfer the points. Sorry! I had well over 1000, probably closer to 1300. The staff didn't seem overly concerned. Word of mouth and loyal customers are what keep small businesses in business. The previous owners understood this and had a successful enough business that the new owners wanted it. Probably not the best business practice to alienate the very people that made the business what it was. They are living off the formal glory. I won't be returning. read more

This place has gone down hill. Customer service is awful. Went at 8am on a Sunday and there was only one guy working the counter and their shelves were almost empty. The guy was also locking the door and only letting people leave after 3 or 4 people were done. So you had to wait in line to order, which you were rushed through and cut off if you took too long, and then had to wait to leave. Not to mention it's a hazard, and illegal, to lock people in like that. You're better off getting your donuts at a grocery store. read more

Best Boston cream pie donut I've ever had (and I am an afficianado of those!). As I requested on grubhub they stuffed extra custard inside, but in addition the breading was super light and fluffy, albeit the coating slightly greasy. Good donuts, but a few drawbacks. The $20/dozen price is only if they select for you. We selected and price was about $30. Ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich which was handed to us cold, so had to go home and heat it up. Donut selection is quite limited (7:30 am on a Sunday). I like that it is a locally owned store and cheaper than LaMars (which is crazy expensive now), but seems pre-stocking donuts isn't a priority, and serving cold sandwiches you cant eat on the go is a little weird. Would like to see them honor the $20/don price on customer selections too, or at least apply a dozen discount if you buy a full dozen. read more

If you're not careful you could definitely get yourself sick because these donuts are SO good! I had the croissant donut that is filled with Nutella and topped with fresh whip cream and strawberries. I came here three times in the span of about two weeks, and each time, I got a croissant donut. The croissant donut was amazing - light and fluffy, and slightly crispy on the outside. I also had a blueberry old fashioned, red velvet cake, and chocolate cake. They're all so light and fluffy, it was delicious. Perfectly flaky on the outside, fluffy when you bite in, great texture and mouthfeel once you start chewing. Glaze was just the right amount and not overly sweet. Pastry itself has the perfect subtle amount of buttery flavor. Cronut was in bite size pieces, which I actually think is perfect for snacking. All of their other donuts look great too. Drove 30 minutes to get here on national donut day which is also my sons birthday, got here at 10:40 am and the door was locked with a line inside. There was a sign that said sold out.
