I have to say I was overly impressed. I stopped once when they first opened and it was a bit late and there wasn't much to choose from, but we kept hearing good things. We decided to stop by today. It still was not very early when we stopped by, there was a line, but still a good selection. However, the Dubai chocolate we saw online was sold out. Much to our surprise the girl talked to the owner and asked if we could hang out a few minutes, we said sure and they made us a couple of Dubai chocolate donuts. Talk about customer service! They were so nice, and made it a family atmosphere. We got a glazed doughnut, toasted coconut, Boston cream, and two Dubai chocolates. A glazed doughnut is much like the cheese pizza, simple, but it tells you the quality of the place. It was excellent, nice yeast flavor, chewy, smooth, and no aftertaste.... And you feel like you could swallow a dozen of those with no problem! A perfect glazed donut! The Dubai chocolate was excellent! A great doughnut, glazed with chocolate over the top and a large amount of crushed pistachios almost made like a sandwich with the Dubai chocolate kataifi in the middle! Delicious!! Probably one of the things that impressed me the most, was that we got a Boston cream doughnut. She took it from the case and then went over and filled it with the cream. That's right they fill it with the cream when you order it! Genius! This place just moved majorly up my list and also my waistline lol! read more

Tried the apple fritter! $3.20 for that ginormous, delicious pastry! Couldn't even finish it. It wasn't too squishy and definitely wasn't overly hardened, had a nice consistent flavor throughout, so I'll say a win! Service was prompt and friendly for me coming in an hour or so before close. Small place but grab & go is the way in the world of donuts. read more

We stopped into Mr. Donut and were the only customers there, so we were helped right away. The staff was friendly, but the shop looked a bit unorganized and the back area seemed messy, which made me a little hesitant. Still, I've heard good things, so I ordered a few kolaches and donuts to give it a try. When we got home, one of the glazed donuts had spots on it that looked like it could be mold. I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but it didn't look right, and I wasn't comfortable eating it. The regular kolaches were also sitting openly on the counter and were very overdone, so we ended up choosing the jalapeño and cheddar ones instead. I do think this place has potential because the menu items themselves sound great, but a little more organization and cleanliness would go a long way. With some improvements, I could see this being a solid spot. read more

Mr Donut - Glazed - Donuts Near Me - New Port Richey, Florida

I kept seeing people's posts on Facebook about MR DONUT in New Port Richey. I finally gave them a try. I got there late in the day so I was expecting there to be nothing left, but they still had a great selection. They are delicious! They offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Boba drinks and frozen fruit drinks. read more

Staff was very friendly and they were very busy but getting through the orders quickly. Donuts are very sweet, so a little goes a long way. There isn't a lot of room inside but there are two tables outside for sitting. We tried several specialty donuts, but honestly I bet their regular glazed is probably where it's at. Would definitely go try them again read more

I just went there the first time, just happened to see the shop driving by. The donuts were great. My wife and I bought several different types and they were all excellent. I would prefer them to Krispy Kreme and definitely over Dunkin Donuts. Service was excellent as well. Definitely worth the trip for donuts. read more

We stopped by this brand new family-owned donut shop and you can tell how much love and investment the owners have put into creating a welcoming space. The shop is clean, bright, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu has a nice amount of variety with donuts, breakfast sandwiches, kolaches, boba, smoothies, and more. I really liked the apple fritters, which they offered them in different styles so customers can choose whether they prefer a softer or crunchier donut. It's thoughtful that they do this to cater to their customers and preferences. The staff was friendly and patient, taking time to help us pick out a sampling of donuts. They had a big variety of donuts to choose from- from filled, to sprinkles, to glazed and even cake donuts. The blueberry cake donut was a favorite for me! We also tried a breakfast sandwich: turkey sausage, egg, and cheese. Overall it was good but it needs an additional egg on it because the croissant is so large. This donut shop is a great addition to the community, and I'm excited to see how they grow. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try and supporting a hardworking local family business. read more

Mr Donut seriously impressed me! I grabbed an apple fritter (so good--perfectly crispy and soft inside) and also tried the chocolate frosted and maple frosted. Hands down some of the best donuts I've ever had. The service was friendly and welcoming, and I liked that they have a few small tables both inside and outside if you want to sit and enjoy your donut. They also have a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches and boba that I'm really looking forward to trying on my next visit. The only small thing I'd change is labeling the donuts in the display case so it's easier to know all the flavors--but honestly, everything we tried was amazing. Definitely coming back! read more

Mr Donut - The amazing, yummy, gigantic, cinnamon, roll! - Donuts Near Me - New Port Richey, Florida

These donuts are absolutely the best I have found in the area. Get a powdered sugar donut and they fill it with the flavoring you like. Boston cream, raspberry, strawberry. This filling is not like Dunkin where you have to pray there is something in the donut. Mr Donut fills it so much as soon as you bite into it the jelly is oozing out. The glazed donut is so so good. Then they have bear claws that look just like a huge bears hand. Excellent Anything I have purchased here is absolutely the freshest and not stale left for hrs to try and sell. I would highly recommend this shop 100% read more

This shop came across my FB page and we had to give it a try. It's a small donut shop that delivered big flavors. Finally donuts that are fresh and not processed tasting. Bravo! read more

Doughnuts are delicious! Also tried their breakfast sandwich's. Delicious as well !

Maybe i just arrived way to early (20 minutes after opening) or it was just a bad morning. There was practically nothing on the shelves and 1/2 the donuts looked like the icing had melted off.. To be fair i had bought donuts here once before (went in at the same time) and that time they had good selection and the looked and tasted good. Guess it depends....unfortunately they're just to few traditional donut shops in the area...kinda captured audience... I am adding an addendum to these comments. Needs to be said I am not mean or capricious, there can be serval reason for the disparity in my encounter and others. It is easter weekend and they may very well have been backed up getting orders ready..or just way to early in the morning....maybe later in the day??? read more

This place is exactly what I wanted and more! Was looking for a good, local, hole in the wall donut shop that had fritters and kolaches for a small company event. I was able to walk in and get a dozen apple fritters, a dozen kolaches, and a dozen donuts that were all delicious. The owner even threw me some extras and kindly helped me load everything into my car. Would definitely go back! read more

Old time made from scratch daily. They are fantastic . sweet family , you can trek the out their heart in it

Donuts and pastries are generally very good. Service can be slow when there is one person but friendly. The real issue is running out of popular donuts and why I will find somewhere elst. I have to drive a little out of the way to go there and twice now once at 10:30AM the other around 11AM they were out of Chocolate donuts. We sell alot of them only makes it worse, then you know there is a demand. This second time they also were out of some pastry the person in front was asking for. When Donuts are your main business you have to have the selection with maybe rare exceptions. read more

Just got three items. The apple fritter was thin and dry, glazed donut was good and the bear claw was also good. Nice little donut shop
