I saw the Commons Coffee Billboard on Little Road by Target and drove straight to my new Best Place for coffee spot. The CT area has two locations on the community campus: The "On the Grove" location is just inside the large social room that serves as a beautiful meet up area for CT patrons, the Generations Christian Church, the Generations Christian Academy, concerts and events, and especially families using the beautiful new Playground and Splash-pad. Parents, you can enjoy fresh roasted coffee and keep direct eyes on your kids as the play. The "Commons Coffee Clubhouse" is on the same campus by the Splash Pad and 7Springs CrossFit. See website for hours as the Clubhouse stays open later, until 9 during the week. A smiling Adam provides great service and manages both locations. He's so proud of the freshly roasted coffee. Exciting!! On-site Roasting with Adam to open soon and you can watch the process at the Clubhouse location. Quality of the coffee is superb. Menu includes coffee (hot and cold options) teas, smoothies, açaí bowls, and fresh snacks from Ferris Nut and Coffee Co. Trinity Commons Coffee serves the community is so many way including the beans coming from Mission church communities across the globe, using local roasters, and partnering with Pasco Metropolitan Ministries to host a Holiday Tent located in the Commons parking lot. Metropolitan Boxes of HOPE available in the Coffee social area to fill and donate for use during the holidays.

We can definitely see ourselves returning back before we head out of town!

I stopped by the Mountaineer location today (May 6th) in New Port Richey. I ordered a large cold brew with caramel and the cream/dairy on the side because I'm dairy sensitive (so I could control how much was added). The drink was nearly $8, which is fine whatever, given the "large" requested. However, when I received it, the cup was only half filled with cold brew and packed with ice. Looking at it, I bet there wasn't even 1 measured cup of cold brew. There was maybe 1/3 cup of product. When the barista gave it to me, I was in disbelief. After adding just a small amount of cream, there was still exactly half the cup of empty space left. When I asked about it (which is a lot for me since i'm pretty non confrontational) the barista explained that they are required to fill only half the cup with cold brew and the other half is milk and thats how they typically serve it. That is definitely not common for a cold brew. I would reevaluate the measurements since it's usually served mostly as coffee with a little dairy not diluted with mostly dairy and espresso shots (like a latte would be). On top of that, the cream tasted flavored rather than like standard milk or half-and-half, which wasn't what I expected. Unfortunately, the overall taste was horrible enough that I ended up throwing the drink away. If a customer asks for cream on the side because they only want a little, the cup should still be filled at least closer to the top with cold brew... not HALF the cup empty with a large amount of ice in what product they did give you. I felt like I paid for a full "large" drink but only received a fraction of product (ordered a large and got maybe 1/3 cup coffee). Very disappointed and quite frankly was a rip off.
