This place is so evil. 1. My dad got in a car accident at the corner of there home houses away from home literally and this company charge my dad $160. They should be investigated for there services. 2. Also my brother was parked in a area was not permited so he got towed. I get it the law is law. Once he finish eating he found out his car got towed by a witness. He takes a taxi to the location in less than a hour. This business charged my brother $400 they must of had the car for about a hour. Again they are evil people. I can't believe The city of South Gate contracted this shady crowed of thugs. After I picked up my car from them, 10 mins after driving it, I realized that my bumper was fucked up. I called them immediately and they told me that the manager comes only on thursdays, so they kept on delaying me and making it such a difficult process. A week after, they called me so that I could take it to the manager to check it out. Before seeing it, I had proof that the car was fine the same day that they took it before fucking up my bumper. I spoke to this unprofessional guy and he was very unprofessional and he told me to go to court. Nobody should have to go through what I went through with these people. I wanted everything to go smoothly, but unfortunately it went south for me. My car was towed last night from my apartment complex due to some personal issues I have been having with my manager. This company took my car and when I called to get info on why it was taken, Aileen told me because of unauthorized parking. I have a placard in my windshield and have had this car for a year without it ever being towed up until today. When I got to the bottom of it both her and my manager appeared to have 2 different stories, resulting in Aileen hanging up in face. They released my car with no charge of course but did not give me a copy/proof of my receipt for pick-up. I had to take a picture cause I feel like they know they wrongfully towed my car and don't want evidence. So I think the company is working very personally with property managers as well. Mr C's strung along my insurance for weeks and would not release my companies vehicle because we did not have a release from CHP. They held the car and charged me while they waited for paperwork. Super Sketchy Company.. They obviously run sweeps. Nobody called for my car to be towed. Last night, I went to Planet Fitness in the city of Hawthorne. I arrived roughly at 10:55pm. I parked in the back lot where there were at least 6 others cars near me. Apparently, the side I was on is "DD's Discount" parking lot even though signage is so poor as it was no where near where I parked. It is impossible to see the sign where I was parked and even more at night. DD's discount closes at 9:30pm so it does not make sense for them to call a towing company at 11:00pm. It also does not make sense for Hawthorne PD to call it in. I noticed my car was gone at 11:45pm. I legit thought my car was stolen and I even struggled to find the sign once I figured it could have been towed since no others cars were near me (probably got towed too). They towed it all the way to the city of South Gate where I had to pay $379 plus my $26 uber ride. This company and the ownership hold NO HONOR. Leaving someone carless in the middle of the night, seriously? It feels as if my car was stolen and I had to pay the thief to get it back. No Shame. No Honor. read more

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! Would give 0 stars if I could. The worst tow experience ever. They towed my car from inside the gate of my condo. We heard the tow and came outside while the guy was still putting it on. My boyfriend said it was his car and the guy told him to go get his keys. My boyfriend came back with his keys less than 15 seconds later. The tow guy had already left and you couldn't even see him down the street. This should be illegal!! We ran after him and got to the tow yard in about 15 minutes. They were trying to charge us $350 to take it out. *my boyfriend negotiated the price down to $250* HOW RIDICULOUS!!! The receptionist Ariana was not very helpful and the manager Jesus gave us a fake name. I told the "manager" and receptionist I would be back to talk to the manager and the manager told me to come around 10 am. He was not there at 10 am and the receptionist basically said he comes in whenever he wants and didn't know when he would be in. She also said there was no manager by the name of Jesus. I left my name and number but of course the manager didn't call me back. I asked for a complaint form and sent it twice but no answer. With wrong evidence (They said they took the pictures of the owner of vehicle parked and took off the mall and person in the pictures was old black gentleman. ALERT! IF YOUR CAR HAS BEEN TOWED BY THIS COMPANY, MR. C'S, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU LEAVE! My car was towed on Monday (Memorial Day), I immediately called to check what was going to be the cost. I soon as I arrived to their place my car was just being out in their garage. I paid $305. I figured ok I guess I have to pay since I was parked in a no parking zone (btw there are always cars parked there). They provided me with a picture of my car to show how the car was before they took it. As soon as I got home my right side of my bumper was broken and was sticking out from the side. My car was not like this because I had just took it for a car wash. I immediately went back to their place and told them that my car was not like this and even in the picture you were able to tell that there was not damage before. The guy who attended us told me that I had to fill out a form and come back tomorrow and ask for a guy named Omar. I do so, I called and spoke to Omar and I told him that I was on my way. I get there and the front desk woman tells me that he has left. So, I asked when was he going to come back. We waited over an hour and I kept asking the front desk lady if there was any way that we can communicate with him and she became upset and did not want to further help me. After we waited, finally, Omar appeared and the only thing he did was take my phone number and told me that he was going to call is back in 2 hours. I did not receive a phone call. I called the next day and still had no response. I called again on Thursday and finally was given a response, he told me that they were going to fix my car. All in all, be aware of your car when you pick it up. This company is not responsible with their work. Their place is in an alley with tons and tons of potholes and their drivers are driving about 30 mph with the cars hooked up. My very first encounter with this towing place was due to my truck getting towed away for parking it in the wrong place. Regardless of the fact that it was 1a.m and that I had to pay $320 to get it out, I was so satisfied knowing I would be able to go and pick it up that very second. Obviously I was distraught at the fact that my vehicle had literally been there for only 1 hour and that I had to pay that much to get it back.... Yet my second encounter with Mr. C's towing services was the total opposite. Unfortunately while shopping at Dollar Tree, my sister lost her car keys. To our luck, there was a DUI checkpoint and we were able to come across Omar Lazo, who was working at the checkpoint. Without a doubt he was able to help us open up the vehicle. Omar and his partner Alex (from the HP unit) not only opened up my sisters car but they also towed it home without any kind of charge. These men were honestly angels sent from heaven! They made the entire horrible situation turn out to something to smoothly! They had about 5 tow trucks grabbing cars left and right out of a parking lot in Downey. Claiming security reported it when there was no security. No signs. Even though there was a 24hr Circle K in the same lot they towed those cars too. They scratched someone's car. Every single employee had attitude and were rude. They charged $420 to get my car out when it wasn't illegally parked. Their tow trucks say official police tow but when I went down to the station to file a report they said they are not affiliated with them. The numbers listed on the back of their receipt say they have no affiliation with them and they don't know why their number is listed. Manager is rude af. Sketchy business. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude to my friend and I, we were simply trying to explain to the lady that my friend works at the building that the cars were towed from she wasn't even willing to listen to anything we were trying to tell her I also asked her for her help with talking to the security person who called for our cars to be towed and she barely even wanted to do so I'm not even sure if she called because she just kept ignoring us. Also once we got the number for the security person he ended up blocking my number and ignoring my calls after we tried to explain to him what happened. My management company partnered with Mr C's towing to remove illegally and unauthorized vehicles in our complex, the problem is when you call to remove the vehicles they never show up. I ended up calling 3 times in a 4 hour period and the lady who answered kept saying the truck was 20 mins away everytime but the truck never showed up.
