Brown sugar boba!!
Ijeoma O.

Came here because of the boba reviews and this place didn't disappoint! The brown sugar boba is soooo good! I quickly stopped here before my flight and ordered the meal which came with chicken, fries, and small order of boba for less than $15. The chicken was alright, had a nice crispiness to it. I just wasn't a fan of the sauce flavor. The fries were good and were nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but the star is the boba. Even the boba pearls were top notch. If I'm ever in the area again, I will stop here. FYI, there's no seating. It an order and pick up spot.

Loved the cheese dog, also had the chicken dog. Service was a bit slow as only one person was taking the order and one in the back making the stuff. Place was pretty clean, lots to choose from the menu. Korean corn dogs are definitely a new thing for me .I'll be back in my Arnold voice

I've always seen this restaurant when I drive down crossbay or go into the shopping center and today I was in the mood for bubble tea and I'm so glad I ordered from here. I got the brown sugar bubble tea, passion fruit tea (I ordered the tapioca bubbles but they didn't add them)-disappointing. I also got the half and half K-dog and the sweet potato k-dog I was confused by these they were covered in sugar and reminded me of a zeppole. I ordered through Uber eats and our delivery took over 40 min so my k-dog was cold and I felt like if I'd had it fresh and hot it would of tasted a lot better. I also got the honey soy wings- these were absolutely delciois. I'm definitely going to give them another try but next time I'll go to the restaurant myself.

Fried chicken and Boba is akin to a great burger and beer! I'm totally on board with the combination of fried chicken with my bubbles. One stop shopping for boba and chicken is genius. As for the chicken, each order of fresh fried chicken is made to order and not sitting around under a heat lamp waiting to be picked over and overlooked by someone doubling as a grumpy cashier. While that may increase your wait time for your meal, that's a small price to pay for great food. So give Mr. Chicken and Mrs. Tea a break, call in your order in advance with that little gadget you are mostly likely using to read this review with, they are a hardworking fam behind the counter. Parking is tough, no doubt about that. This restaurant is located on a major thoroughfare and they share a parking lot with a few other shops. There is underground parking, that is unfortunately dimly lit, with a narrow dual entrance and exit ramp, but don't let that stop you from visiting. Order ahead and just put your blinkers on, while you run in to get your order.

This place is a gem in the Ozone Park neighborhood, where it doesn't have much good variety food options in a mostly residential/suburb-ish neighborhood. Located inside a small complex on the main road, it sells fried chicken and related items, and bubble teas. There's a machine inside the store where you can order without talking to the staff. Food comes out quite quickly. The drinks are pretty good for the neighborhood, aka the only place with boba. Tried the Yuzu Tea with 25% sugar, Passionfruit Slush. The former is refreshing in the summer heat, the latter is perfect, it has bits of Passionfruit seeds, too. Prices are about Manhattan price, $5 to start for a medium. Got the chicken sandwich to try, was expecting a fried chicken patty, not popcorn chicken. It makes it hard to eat the sandwich because all the popcorn chicken just falls off right away. Nevertheless, both the chicken and fries are still hot and crispy even after 25mins. The coating is similar to Popeye's, really dig that. Definitely give this place a try if you live in the neighborhood. Support local business!

I have had this spot bookmarked for the LONGEST time. My sister and her boyfriend have hyped it up and spoke wonders about it. Today, I tried it and I can confidently say THE HYPE IS REAL. I ordered a small order of honey soy wings, half and half mozz hot dog, and a brown sugar bubble tea. Let's begin with the chicken - it was crispy, not overly soaked in sauce, and had just the right amount of kick and heat to it. (Get ready to start licking your fingers after eating, just sayin) The half & half hot dog - CHEESE PULL ALERT!!! On the first bite you will hear that amazing crunch, followed by the sugar sprinkled on top. The inside part of the k dog is soft and then you get loads of mozzarella cheese and half a hot dog inside. Brown sugar bubble tea - I'm so glad I bought this. I'm very picky when it comes to bubble tea but this one exceeded my expectations. I'm so happy I don't have to travel far to get a great tasting bubble tea anymore!

Food was delicious. I stumbled onto this place after searching for Korean fried chicken. At first I was skeptical due to the price of 2 drumsticks (about $9) but when I got it I was not disappointed with the taste. These drumsticks were delicious. The fries were crispy and the drinks were delicious. The only reason for four stars is that I do think for that price you should get more chicken but overall I would recommend you try them out. And if chicken is not your thing they do have hotdogs and other things to try.

Delicious & Moist !!!

Well another restaurant taking the Corona times for granted; we hit this joint last week we had our hot water heater blow & flood our basement..... So we were up since 6am and had not eaten anything till 12:30 pm; we were passing by & decided to have their delicious soy garlic ginger chicken .... We ordered two 10 pieces. First off; their chicken pieces either had meat or Lil to no meat just skin fried fat .... Second; their chicken is dry, they have not been adding enough of the soy garlic ginger sauce so my wife told them extra sauce on the chicken please !!! Wife comes out the chicken is dry again she went back in & had to buy extra sauce for . 50 cents extra which she gladly did, however that didn't fix the the chicken issue ... So we are done with with this joint !!! If you want the real deal soy garlic ginger chicken you have to go to Mad for Chicken on Northern Blvd it's worth the trip !!' Thanks, Greg D & family

I've had their food a few times. Forgot to write a review. So, here we go. Customer Service: Friendly but they're kind of slow. Don't know if it's a staffing issue but I can let that pass. (pre covid) Present day, I ordered via UberEats & set a time frame for my delivery. (Which was met) Inside: Nice & clean. decor is nice. (Pre covid) Food: First time I had the snow chicken & I wasn't impressed. The "snow" didn't really give it much flavor but the chicken was nice crispy & moist. The Boba was ok. Present Day: I ordered two large orders of just plain chicken wings with the sauces in the side for Super Bowl Sunday. (Don't worry it wasn't a party just a big family in one house) The chicken was delicious! Juicy, crunchy, and moist! The sauces were good too! Honey Soy & KHot. Fries came with it & that was also yummy. Crisp & tasty! Our only let down was the Boba. My Brown Sugar boba wasn't sweet & watery. The taro boba was weird - it taste like it went bad. Wasn't too happy about that. However, their food is the star & for the 4 times I've had their food it's been good! The restaurant is located in a strip mall kind of thing. Parking is usually ok here.

I absolutely love mr chicken and mrs tea! I come here a good amount, and the food is amazing every time. The workers are so nice here and work so hard. It's cute inside and the food is always prepared really well. I love the bubble tea here and can't wait to try more of their drinks. Their French fries truly are the best French fries I've ever had, they are sooo good. The only downside is the horrible parking lot but that is not their fault. I highly recommend this place and I'll keep coming back and trying different menu items!!

Taro Milk Tea with bubbles

Quick spot for some chicken wings and bubble tea! Ordered crispy honey garlic wings and it was delicious. Slightly sticky honey sauce with the fragrant taste of garlic, combined with crispy chicken wings definitely hit the spot! I also ordered the taro milk tea (regular sugar) and it was super sweet. That's my own fault, as I didn't realize you can adjust the sugar level of the drink. Would definitely try it again with way less sugar!

Updated review! I have successfully converted all of my household members into loving this place LOL. The food is just that good!!! And it doesn't have a really overpowering greasy smell that usually comes with fried food. Plus, it is super filling, but doesn't make me want to fall asleep after eating it. The people who work here are very nice!!! The first time I went here, there was a minor issue with how I was charged, and the owner reached out to me to right the wrong. I thought this was really nice :) I usually don't eat out often because I prefer to cook at home.. but this is one of my new favorite spots, and I am trying to support small businesses during this hard time, so I'll definitely be a frequent customer and keep sharing this place with everyone I know that is nearby enough :D Thanks for the amazing food and service :)

Chicken wings with soy and garlic. And cole slaw. A medium order comes with 10 wings.
Cortney W.

I ordered from Mr. Chicken and Tea through Uber eats. I wondered for awhile about their food. I decided to go for it one night when I didn't feel like cooking. I went with the wings that have a honey sauce and cole slaw. The wings were good. A bit big (Think Dallas BBQs big) for my liking but well done and the sauce was tasty. The cole slaw came with the dressing on top for you to mix it in. It was also good. Flavorful. I would definitely try them out again!

We were greeted with a complimentary popcorn, which was delicious! The waiter was also incredibly attentive to our table and made sure to check on us occasionally. The ambiance is dim, kind of like a bar restaurant without too much noise. It's a great spot for a date night out. We ordered 20 pieces of wings, half with soy garlic and the other half with mango habanero, tteok-Bokki (with cheese) and truffle fries. I personally do not handle spice very well, however the mango habanero was surprisingly good and not too spicy. In my opinion, I thought the tteok-bokki was spicier but not too spicy to the point where I couldn't take a second bite. Although I have been to many other Mad for Chicken chains before, this is my first time in the Forest Hills location and also my first time publishing a review for this restaurant. I would totally come back!

Cuisine: 6 Service: 6…read moreDecor: 7 Value: 7 Overall: 6 Let me start off by saying that I have never been the biggest Korean fried chicken fan because I find them somewhat lacking juiciness due to the extra time their frying process needs to make the skin extra crispy and crunchy. The thighs/drumsticks are better, but the chicken wings are always too dry for me. With that said, Mad For Chicken chain has been around for a while, producing one of the more tender and juicier piece of chicken. Unfortunately, we did not love their sauces at this location. The soy garlic felt weak, while the spicy soy garlic was not spicy. Serano chili was okay but nothing special either. Our favorite thing that day was their Bulgogi Toppoki Japchae. It was pretty tasty. Might come back for this dish and give their chicken one more chance.

The place is medium sized, with enough room to eat in which was no problem to me since there were only 2 other customers in the spot at the time. I wasn't really sure what to order at the moment so I went for Chicken w/ Rice, Mozzarella sticks and Mango lemonade. The Chicken and Rice looked kinda messy, also not a fan of the amount of onions they put in there but don't let the setup of the food fool you, it's pretty good with the white sauce being a complimentary condiment for the salad alongside with it. The Mozzarella sticks were decent but had a bit too much breading, which would've been perfect if they had marinara sauce...they did not, kind of a miss on that part. The Mango lemonade to me was the better part of the meal, nice, cool and delicious. That lemonade sure hit the spot. Service was pretty decent, the food arrival took a little longer than I cared for but the food was fresh and hot so can't complain much about timing. Next time around I'll sample their fried chicken, which is what I should've done to begin with really.

When they first remodeled from a specialty sandwich shop to a craft beer pub, I was quite disappointed. Now I can't get my favorite chopped cheese or sriracha egg sandwich in the neighborhood anymore. However, I come to realize that having a dependable spot for an excellent burger is a pretty nice too. They do a great classic smash burger with a crispy crust and juicy beef. The toppings are always fresh and the bread is extremely fluffy. While the brioche bun is delicious, I may have a slight preference for the sesame seed bun of the Stack Mac. You really can't go wrong with any of their burger offerings. Obviously, a pub needs some tasty fried foods to go with their nice selection of craft beers. Thankfully, they do. The tater tots and onion rings are both really fantastic. Only thing currently still needs a bit of work is their chicken wings. Not bad for roasted wings, but I wish they were fried. During playoff season, I have come watched games while enjoying their offerings. It's never too busy, which makes it perfect for me. This little craft bar is definitely a hidden gem and I'm happy by me.
