This place is awesome! We just moved to Easley and have been looking for some great local restaurants so we decided to try this place out. We went on game day so it was pretty busy and we were told there was a 25 minute wait. No problem. We were seated within 10 minutes! The service throughout our meal was great and fast but we didn't feel rushed. We were super impressed with how fast everything came to the table. The food was AMAZING! First, my medium mango margarita was huge and they do not skimp on the alcohol. The Burrito Mr. Cactus was so flavorful with chicken, shrimp, and chorizo inside. The beans and rice were great too. My husband enjoyed the California Burrito as well and said it was kinda like a kitchen sink burrito because it has everything in it. Steak, chicken, beans, peppers, onions, rice, guac, sour cream, etc. We were so impressed with Mr. Cactus and can't wait to come back! We'll be bringing family here when they visit from out of town too. So happy to have found a go-to restaurant! read more

Me being Hispanic know what real Mexican food taste like. I wasn't impressed by this place although the food was good.. I don't think I would eat here again. With that being said the drinks are on point! Definitely get a drink ( adult beverage ) at the bar before eating something. read more

Definitely a new favorite. The food here is fantastic!!! Best tacos and carnitas I have had in a long time. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Two thumbs up! So much fun! read more

Service was fine, food was ok, Margarita's were awful. Ordered a frozen Margarita, it was watered down. I sent it back for a Margarita on the rocks and said, " Be sure there is Tequila in this one". 3/4 of the glass was ice with a small amount of lime juice and you would be hard pressed to find a drop of Tequila in the Margarita. Rip off! Won't go back! read more

This is my families favorite Mexican restaurant in Easley! Great food, service and overall vibe.

The bar staff was attentive and the food was amazing. It was not over salted but the seasoning was on pint. The chips and salsa were better than most other places. The prices were reasonable and I would make this my weekly place out! The margaritas were freshly made and absolutely delicious. read more

Love Mr.Cactus !! Good food and solid service . For a change of dtc\gccrews try the hot wings.... You will not be disappointed

Came here for dinner right at dinner time. We have eaten here before and hands down it was very good. Tonight not so good. The patrons who came in after us received their food before us. When we got our food it was cold. This is not the norm for this place. But tonight you have disappointed a customer. read more

I hate to rate Mr Cactus because I am giving them a 5 and this will make more people to want to eat there. They have some of the best service within a 25 mile radios. The owner or manager is greatly involved. I eat there on a regular basis and it is rare that he does not stop and ask if we need anything. All employees who work there appear to enjoy working there. Now the food has always been a notch above the other best Mexican restaurants in town. Always has been a great dining experience. read more

YUM! We ordered Carnitas street tacos, tamales and margaritas. Passion Margarita and House margarita. Both were delicious, and made with real house made Margarita mix. Not a sour mix like most restaurants. ( I don't like tequila sours. I margaritas) Tacos were well seasoned and the filling to masa ratio was great! Probably 35-40%masa/60-65%filling. SO GOOD! (The table next to us ordered the chicken chimichanga and it looked amazing) read more

My wife and I had several friends tell us that this place was phenomenal so we decided to check it out for ourselves and the rumors are true! This place was great! We did have to wait a while, but that's completely understandable due to the volume of people coming in and out But it was worth the wait. The food was great. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. We loved it and plan on going back soon! read more

Nice little spot and not just the usual Mexican Slop you get every where else. Not a fan of their margaritas though.

We decided to give it a try for Father's Day, and it was great! Service was friendly and quick, and the owner stopped by our table to say hello. The food was awesome! Shrimp tacos, Mr. Cactus burrito, steak tacos, shrimp and mushrooms, quesadilla- it was all yummy! read more

Ummmm yes, 1000x yes. The best Mexican food, margaritas and service in Easley. We are absolutely so LUCKY to have this spot here in this small town. They don't miss. My favorite item on the menu is the street corn. They have amazing chorizo tacos too. The margaritas are to die for. Amazing flavor, and their pricing is on point. You're definitely getting more for what you pay for. RUN to mr. Cactus. read more

Food was great, the servers are very welcoming and serviceable, but the manager was not very nice and did not want to even know what was a Gastric Surgery, he called the OWNER Jesus Ontiveros and said NO to ordering from the kids menu, even though we were order a regular plate and beers and drinks. So for rating on customer service 1 Star read more

Looking for good Mexican food and good chips and salsa this is the best place to get them.

Great food and the best Margaritas. If you like to try different flavors of Margaritas try their flights.

Food is okay. No better than most Mexican restaurants. The atmosphere is what I hate! The mariachi music is so exceedingly LOUD, it hurts your ears and gives you a headache. You literally have to yell at each other to even talk. I love mariachi music, but not if it's deafeningly loud! When you ask them to turn the music down, they rudely refuse. I did not enjoy my experience eating there. There are other places you can go to eat that offer a more comfortable, enjoyable, dining experience and you won't have to suffer a hearing loss just to eat. read more

Food, cocktails, staff, price, this place is awesome. I cried when I lifted the last fork full to my mouth. Stopped here while on a business trip and I cannot wait to come back. read more

Mr. Cactus Mexican Kitchen - Summer margarita flight - Mexican Near Me - Easley, South Carolina

Good food, service is sometimes a bit slow but that may be the time we go, ambiance is ok but music is sometimes a bit too loud.

It was my first visit for lunch & it was some of the best Mexican my family has ever had!

Never seen a bad review on this place so we had to go. The mango margarita was good! Even had a flower in it! The food was really good! No gristle to chew around.... Really good! read more

Really good food. Consistently good service! Best in class in my opinion for this genre in Easley.

We are new to the Easley area and looking for our new Mexican cuisine hang out. With multiple trips to Lowes, we noticed this place was always busy. We decided to give it a try. Disappointed in the chips and salsa. Food was not quite hot (temperature) to feel that it was throughly heated. We always give a place two chances, so we'll try it again. read more

Super friendly staff and food was hot and delicious. The salsa has the perfect amount of spice. Would recommend all my friends and family! read more

Mr. Cactus Mexican Kitchen - Chimichanga it was great - Mexican Near Me - Easley, South Carolina

Good service food was on point. Did not care for the cheese dip as it had no flavor which was kind of odd.

My husband and I decided to go to Mr. Cactus in Easley. We waited along time to be seated. I decided to order some shrimp tacos last night. Upon the food arriving, the taco's looked like appetizers rather than an entree. I was very disappointed with the tacos. The tacos were on corn tortillas as requested but, on each one was only 3 shrimp, shredded purple cabbage 1/3 cup, diced onions and tomatoes 1/4 cup along with chiplote sauce on the side. It sounds yummy. However, I have never seen purple cabbage on taco's and such a skimpy tacos for an entree. I do not advise to order this at this restaurant. The manager I spoke to says, "I am sorry" but, this did not help me with my meal or my hunger. read more

I had high hope for this restaurant because it was packed mid week. Not authentic as I thought. Salsa tasteless, like tomato sauce from a can. Meal was just so so. I was impressed by the look of the Mango Margarita but it was also a disappointment, didn't like the taste either. Sorry Won't be going back. read more

The service here is amazing all the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. I will def be coming back again thank you

Food is ok, but when you take out they tend to always forget part of your food. Also the young lady who's short their with a little girls voice tends to try to rip you off. She has on several occasions has try to rip me off by not giving me my full change. I have on several occasions called her out in it. So be careful. read more

The restaurant was packed I understand now why , food was good service was ok I would recommend this Mexican place to all.

When this place first opened it was awesome and so was the food! I get enchiladas at every single Mexican restaurant I go too. The last two times we've gone, I've gotten enchiladas and the sauce has been burnt or over cooked and served to us without warning. Super disappointing. Smell your red enchilada sauce before eating it and see if something smells off!!! Manager said everyone wanted more of the sauce... the sauce that even smelled burnt??? read more

Amazing service! Great food! Servers went above and beyond to refill drinks and chips and salsa. Definitely will be back!

Was seated right away, even though they were extremely busy. Ordered. Food came fast, hot, and fabulous. Service was awesome! We will definitely return. Mr. Cactus Mexican Kitchen is added to one of our favorites! read more

The lack of ratings had me leery that it might be friend/family reviews...but heck no! Very fresh food not loaded with oils. Chunky guacalmole was a large portion and excellent even though it could have benefitted from a dash of salt and lime juice (if they were in there it was very minimal). Hubby's burrito was delicious and would have fed 2 generously. Street tacos were very good even though the corn tortillas would not hold the ingredients without shredding. Finished those off with a fork. Flights of tequilas looked interesting to try for an evening trip. Service was very efficient, knowlegeable and friendly with multiple servers per table to ensure food is delivered quickly. read more

Best service ever, and the food is even better. The inside is very stylish and has something I've never seen before in Easley. Truly a very cutesy place where you can take good pictures with friends and family, while enjoying food. I have not had the margaritas but I keep hearing good things so I'll be back ;) read more
