Tried this place a couple of times. Each time, the burgers have been quite dry. We ordered cheese curds, and I ordered the Peanut Buster burger with chips. The cheese curds are quite good, and the homemade chips are delicious. Unfortunately, I did not get the taste of peanut butter on the burger, nor the spiciness. Tried this establishment twice and was terribly disappointed in the food both times. Dry burgers with little flavor and their "fresh cut" fries are frozen coated fries that I hate. They weren't even hot. I ate two and almost vomited. The excuse was they hadn't changed the menus yet. Why the hell didn't you tell me that when I ordered them. Now I'm pissed. Burgers are okay. Service depends on who's working. My biggest irk... The only NA beer they carry is O'Doul's, which doesn't even qualify as a beer. They said they don't sell enough to carry anything else. Duh... Who buys O'Doul's?!?!? There are so, so many good craft NA's available now. Athletic Brewing Compay (ABC), Lakefront, Guinness, Weihenstephaner, Lagunitas, Sam Adams, BrewDog, and Bravus. And there are many, many more. Your competitors offer craft NA's and they will continue to get my business until you add a "real" NA beer selection. Check with your distributor and they will get you up to speed. read more

Great place for family and friends. Small bar area and restaurant. Nice prices and food was amazing. My husband ate the peanut butter and egg sandwich and loved it. I will pass and take his word for it. I ate the all American hamburger and fries. Fries were like short string fries and were great. The local brewed beers and cider was tasty. Great atmosphere and hospitality. The problem we had were the French fried were over cooked and brown we also had cheese curds they were over cooked as well and the most of cheese was dried out. The idea of cheese curds with blue cheese crumbles on top was great. The onion rings were delicious as well as the Bloody Mary Burger. We will go back again but I hope the chef pays more attention to cooking times. read more

Was here recently. Had the cheese curds average nothing special. Came for the beer. Ben ( the GM?) waited on us. Fantastic guy. He mixed several beers together based on our discussion and his discretion. I figured he seemed to know his stuff and he really does. Turned out great! Wish I lived here as I would go here often. They dont brew their own but instead feature many nearby breweries latest offerings. Very diverse offerings, they will let u sample b4 buying. Where do I start? I'm from Austin and decided to slide in for 1 or 7 beers. Luckily I got the cream of da crop with Katrina serving up colder than cold ice cold brews all while running shit. She somehow manages to pour beer, run food, clean, and whatever else needs to be done and some how still manages to look like a dime piece. Cool environment but service is SOOOO slow. We waited a good 10-15 mins to even be waited on. Took another 10 mins to get half (cause they were out of glasses) of our beer flight. And still waiting on our waters. Burgers were good - but over priced being that you don't get fries or chips or something with them. I stopped here for the first time in a long time and was surprised to see how this place has gone downhill. The place was filthy there was dried food and sticky substance on several of the"clean" tables. The floor has not been cleaned in months probably. Urine smell and dried feces in the ladies room, seemed more like a men's room. The burger that I had seemed to be smaller and flatter than what I remember from before. It was unimpressive and I think I would have been more satisfied with a Culver's butter burger. Just sort of blah. The staff was distracted by their cell phone and was difficult to get served in a timely manner. This is my biggest pet peeve. Go out and communicate with your customers. Definitely a bar that serves food rather than a restaurant that serves beer. Good news - over 50 beers, many world class and not available locally. Many served in 10 oz glasses, but a flight is a good choice to try some varieties you don't see very often. Happy hour also seems like a good deal. Less good- culvers level burger at best. Fries came to the table cold (how does that happen?). We ordered more for our party of eight which came just as we were ready to leave. Wouldn't go there expecting more than standard bar food. Try Mikey's for a more gastropub vibe. Overall, I'll go back for the beer and hope the food improves. read more

As we walked in we were welcome by the bartender and we were told to sit anywhere. We chose a lovely location near the window. We were quickly attended to by an employee that took our order and advised us on the wonderful many beers. Both the food and the beer were wonderful. Probably the worst place in the Stevens Point/Plover area. Food is...mediocre. It's edible but so are frozen meals you can buy at the grocery store. Nothing special. The staff is...ridiculous. Inappropriate, far too much joking around, unprofessional, lazy, and downright rude. One time the waitress was obviously intoxicated, and her breath smelt like alcoholic lemonade. Unfortunately, I met the "general manager", and genuinely thought it was a joke. A bit misogynist, disrespectful, rude...chastised us for trying to order a drink at the bar while he was watching the football game. Awkward. I see this business going out under in a few years. The best part of Mr. Brews is the owners know who they are: A beer and burger place. They offer many, many choices of beer and have flights arranged for the beer explorer. The burgers are unique and delicious. The staff is knowledgeable, but our server seemed disengaged and uninterested in her job. We brought our older kids for an early supper. My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner and drinks on a Friday night around 8:30. We each got a beer flight and some cheese curds to share. The our drinks came really fast as did our appetizer. The cheese curds were warm and gooey and tasted fresh. I got the Bacon Mac n' Cheese burger and he got their Peanut Butter Burger. They have a wide selections of different kinds of sandwiches, and some really unique and fun choices. Both of our burgers were delicious. It was the perfect size for the price. Mr. Brews is a fun place to go to have a few drinks and conversation that serves delicious food. We can't wait to come back and try more of what they have to offer. read more

Great tasting burgers !!!! I have been here 4 times now and have always been happy with what I have ordered, the meat has a good flavor(maybe its the spices). They have a variety of burgers on their menu. I recommend the Kentucky Bourbon Burger & the California Burger. You can also order salads,fries etc.... The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is casual & comfortable and I would definitely return It is in a a stripmall area so the in/out access is questionable if you are unfamiliar with the area. Took 45 minutes to receive our food which is sad because most everyone else was drinking beer. My double burger with bacon and a fried egg was completely tasteless and unseasoned. Egg was overcooked, burgers were of some unknown quality meat with no seasoning, charring or flavor. Meat was mushy with no texture and could barely taste the bacon. One bite and I was done. Sweet potato fries were pretty good though. The Manager apologized for service and the burger and said they would work on it. I would go back for their beer selection and maybe appetizers. Service was excellent. Food a little less than average. I would come back for the variety of beer. Not for the food. I told the waitress the same and asked her to pass it on. Hopefully it will reach someone who cares enough to do something. Burgers tasted frozen and plain. Buns were toasted but too soft and i tasted mostly butter. Onions were too strong and i love onions. You can tell that management doesnt taste the food very often. Fries were as soft as noodles because of the grease. Cheesecurds were ok but others places in town are better. First impression...The price of your burgers, compared to equally or even better burgers around town, is outrageous. If you served them with french fries or even potato chips, it would still be high, but would at least be acceptable. In addition, they're served on small, plain grocery store buns. A nice bakery bun would, again, justify the price you're charging. And I understand that you're new to the scene, but the servers need to get a quicker bounce to their steps. We waited far, far too long for our order and we were there at a time when it wasn't very busy. The atmosphere is nice with plenty of TVs; however, at your prices, I can't afford to sit there to watch a Packer or Badger game. read more

Great beer choices and the server was extremely helpful and patient with all our questions. You can have up to four small samples for tasting, but they offer flights for reasonable cost. But the best part was the burgers! I had the Brew-chetta burger and it was awesome! It had a pesto mayo that was great. I think it's the best burger I've ever had! Someone else had a Jalapeño Popper burger which was also great. If I lived in Point I'd be going there often. We were there on a Monday evening so it wasn't busy. read more
