This is the kind of brewery that everyone needs but didn't know it! I have been to several breweries and this is probably one has one of the best setups I have seen in a while. The bar is large with plenty of seating around it and plenty of table seating as well. When you start to head into the brewery you will see a community area, games and wait for it... a nice bank of pinball machines! (admittedly, if there are pinball machines in a brewery I am an instant fan). The brewing system is visible as well so you get to see it all from the public areas. So while the setup and atmosphere is on point, what about the service and beers? Yeah... this definitely gets a big thumbs up from me. The beertenders are friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. The brewery has plenty of their own beer on tap but also several guest beers along with N/A options. When I come back to Stevens Point, this will be a must stop for me. read more

We were here for a special event that District 1 let our organization use part of their space for a chili cookoff at no charge. They could not have been nicer to help us host this event on an early Saturday afternoon. I think we had close to 90 people in attendance and everyone enjoyed the fun space with all of the games and of course the great beers. By the time we packed up at around 3:30pm the place was packed. Obviously a SP hot spot. Hopefully next year we can hold our event here again. Thanks to Chris & his staff! read more

I visit breweries as a hobby. The establishment was busy and had a lot of beers on tap. I found out that they don't do flights "because the college kids stole all the glassware." I asked for a brewery sticker and found out they were completely out and waiting on new supplies. They did offer free samples of anything they had on tap and I ended up speaking to a very nice couple I sat next to and decided to leave after a couple samples. I don't buy the premise that you give up on flights because you've had some glasses stolen. Part of the appeal of craft breweries is sampling. I do appreciate getting samples and glad they did so at my visit. I'm not sure I'd recommend a visit, but the staff were pleasant. I have been to other college town breweries who aren't so adversely impacted with their glassware. I hope this changes. read more

Parking. Seating. Yes, all plentiful. Plus, all walks of life. We saw college students, a young family playing board games, and a larger family with grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, parents with an infant. I kid you not! They had live music playing 90's covers on that Friday we visited. The bartenders are so attentive. Drinks are delicious, brewed there, and named after the local scene. Love that their menu are on QR scan or on the screens at the bar. Sadly no eats but such a great vibe overall. read more

This place is huge. Lots of room and lots to do in terms of games and stuff. Would be a fun place for an event. First time there and really wanted to try a sampler but they don't have any. So strange. The other beer we wanted to try they were out of as well. The two we had were good. I'd like to stop back and try more. read more

We stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon and Nikki took great care of us! She knew the products very well, quickly picked up on my husband's and my preferences, and provided samples and suggestions that we loved. A free slice of delicious pizza made our day. Great atmosphere to try many amazing types of beers. One thing that separates them is the huge selection of games you can play with friends. They have a giant selection of board games, arcade games, ping pong and corn hole! Their style is clean and pretty fancy. I will definitely be going back. read more

This place is great. Originally from Madison--now live in Lake Gevena. Passing through SP to celebrate my wedding anniversary. We love to find beer and biking destinations. SP came up on our radar because of the Green Circle Trail (highly recommend). We stopped in to the brewery on a Sunday night. Tanner was GREAT!! He gave us samples and told us the history of so many things. We enjoyed it so much. The beer and conversation was amazing. We left with two Crowlers. We can't wait to come back to the area and check this place out. Did you know that most of their brewery is made with equipment manufactured right here in Wisconsin? Did you know that Stevens Point is known for their beers because of the high water quality here? Did you know that Point Brewery is one of the second oldest breweries in the nation?? Stopped in around noon on a weekday and was the only one in the place. I was a bit surprised by that as it was lunchtime, but quickly realized they didn't serve food, so it made sense. Really nice space. Tons of games/activities. Ping pong, bags, arcade, board games....so much better than bars where people are staring at their phones or the TV. Love that they embrace the social aspects of drinking. Tried the housemade hard seltzer and their IPA (Crazy Daze?). Preferred the seltzer, but would order either again. I stayed for over an hour reading on the couch. Just a real inviting place to hang out. But eventually, I just got hungry and had to leave to find something to eat. That's really my only knock on the place. They were advertising for a food truck night, but that doesn't really help at noon on a Tuesday. Not sure if they allow carry-ins, but would like to see them pair with food delivery businesses and let their patrons know who they can order from. Highly recommend for a night of drinking with friends. read more
