They also give you complimentary ice cream at the end The ambiance was fun but definitely on the louder side, lots of throwback bangers playing. Great vibe, but be prepared to raise your voice a bit if you're trying to have a convo across the table. Be smart and check-in on Yelp for a place in line and be ready to wait an additional 30+ mins after checking in with the host. The place is bumpin, and parking is pretty limited for the amount of crowds this place gets. We went on a Saturday night, checked in at 430 and didn't get seated until 645. We opted for the lower tier of PAYCE which ran for $32.99. The next tier up was $42.99 which would give you access to ordering ribeye, galbi and New York Strip. We're definitely making this a quarterly spot for us and will surely try the next tier up on our next visit. I've been a fan of KBBQ for a while and this place is great .Our server was AMAZING, she was quick and attentive and explained everything properly. There is no reason you should pay hundreds for dinner with friends, and you cannot even use the single toilet. I had to leave and go to in n out after to use the bathroom. This is vile. Food is alright. The ribeye is terribly cut, the top blade is decent. The only good cuts are the usda prime beef belly and brisket. Great servers. But if this is what the place is, unless menu changes and they do something better - it's a waste of your time. People say Gen is bad but it's really just as fine as this place. Wang Cho as well. I've been coming to Mr BBQ in Fullerton for almost 10 years now and honestly it's still hands down one of my favorite spots for KBBQ. The all you can eat price is super fair for what you get and what you get is quality. The ribeye, beef tongue, and beef belly are my go-to selections every time and they've been consistently amazing for as long as I've been coming here. I would also recommend the filet, jowl, bone in and boneless short ribs, but honestly you can't go wrong with whatever you pick. Bonus tip- you can get half orders on a lot of the meats so you can try as many as possible! The selection is great, the cuts are fresh, and somehow every time I visit the service feels like it's gotten even better. The lunch menu pricing is $28, and it had all the typical offerings such as brisket, beef belly, pork belly, marinated meats, soups and steamed egg. This establishment provides quite a bit of banchan however it's mediocre, nothing fancy... nor did it taste like premium quality. Idk if i see premium on the menu I'm expecting everything to be premium. At the very least it should taste fresher than what I'd get at Gen. This BBQ restaurant was a major disappointment, especially considering we drove all the way from Irvine because it used to be known for good quality. Unfortunately, that quality is gone. The meat was extremely tough and poorly prepared, nothing like what we expected. After the meal, I ended up with stomach issues that lasted for a while, which made the experience even worse and honestly concerning. When we reported this to the manager, the response was shocking. Instead of taking the issue seriously or showing any concern, he casually said we could "ask for a better meat." There was no apology, no accountability, and no concern for customer health. That response alone showed a complete lack of professionalism. This place is no longer worth the drive, the time, or the money. Came here for the first time after a game of golf so we were HUNGRYYY. From the very start, the service here was amazinggg. We walked in and were immediately welcomed by the workers and seated right then a there. I'd say it's a hidden gem because the all the colors and lights at this location definitely heighten the ambience and atmosphere here. Not only that but the music here was definitely a mood as well. My friend and I had an early dinner here on a Monday. This spot is near Cal-State Fullerton and a bunch of other plazas with different retail and restaurant spaces. It also has a lot of parking spots and a dedicated lot, but it gets popular so you may be looking for a spot for a few minutes. There are a lots of tables of varying sizes to accommodate small to large groups. There's also a bunch of TVs around the restaurant. In general, the atmosphere is pretty lively and loud, which I think is to be expected when it's so close to the university. Our servers were really nice and super responsive. They checked on us frequently and delivered our orders (and anything else we requested) pretty quickly. The quality of the meat is good and I think the banchan was also really good. We ordered the Japchae, cucumber, fish cake and kimchi several times. I really enjoyed the pork belly which was marinated and seasoned well. The price point is pretty comparable to other all-you-can-eat spots in the OC. There are different levels where you can order more premium items at a higher price, but we ordered from the regular dinner menu and were still very satisfied. read more

This has got to be one of the best KBBQ joints I have ever been to! I've been here a few times in the past and decided for my birthday to come here and I was not disappointed. The quality of the meat here is in a league of its own in addition to the service. I find at a lot of different KBBQ places I've been to before you have to flag down the waiter a lot to order your meats but I didn't have to do that a single time here which was awesome since it meant that we always had a constant stream of meat coming in. Some of my standout favorite meats were the bulgogi and the short ribs those are so delicious I wish I could never get full and just eat that forever but alas. The vibe inside of the restaurant is also really nice. They've got a lot of fancy lights and also TVs mounted everywhere so it would be an epic place to catch a sporting event. When I checked in, Danielle told us they were "cleaning up a table," but after waiting, we were seated at the exact same table that had already been ready the whole time. It was frustrating to feel like we weren't given an honest explanation, especially as loyal customers. Clear communication goes a long way. That being said, I do want to thank our server. I would say that the disadvantage of this place is that they don't accept reservations. Their private parking lot had a lot of cars in it by the time my crony and I arrived at 11:15am on a Saturday morning; it made me wonder if parking would be hard to find during their more busy times. This is an AYCE (all you can eat) Korean BBQ place. As of 3/12/25, the price for weekday lunch is $27 and the price for weekends and dinner is $37. There's a premium menu with 10 extra options for $47. The normal option already gives you 29 items to choose from. Our server was attentive and amiable. I'm surprised they don't have the actual flavors of their hand crafted soju cocktails on their menu. We decided to try a sampler which includes three different flavored soju cocktail cans. All three flavors we tried were amazing. The banchan (an assortment of side dishes) was varied and delicious; my favorites were the rice paper and and spicy cucumber. Unfortunately, they didn't have any steamed eggs available. However, our favorite meats were the chadol (beef brisket) and the woobaesal (wagyu beef belly). I think the only thing I didn't like was the rice. Rice and a small scoop of ice cream come with your meal. The green tea ice cream I had was magnificent. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and my stomach and buttocks were quite pleased. When we left around 1:15pm, there was already a bunch of people waiting outside for their turn to be seated.
