The cakes (cheesecake ones I ordered) were delicious, very moist and flavorful. Drinks: Strawberry Matcha Latte (7/10) - the strawberry "foam" (i believe) taste very much like nesquik strawberry milk (at least for me); it was still good, but not the best. Tiramisu Matcha Latte (3/10) - the drink was very questionable; it just tasted like watered down matcha, no flavor of tiramisu. i might have to explore with their matcha again, but the matcha drink was very grassy as well. They do get busy, but their service is good. I came today to try and to see if it was a good study spot. It is an okay study spot; however, there aren't that many tables to sit with your computer and to charge. Very excited to have a bakery/cafe like this in riverside. Tbh I was quite disappointed with the visit. I tried a few of their pastries and the strawberry matcha. The matcha was so bad, you could see the grains of matcha and it was excessively sweet. The strawberry part itself was yummy but the matcha was so bad I couldn't even drink it. I would not recommend it!! The line was long so the workers started taking our orders while we waited which was a good idea but as I got closer to the glass display I realized how incredibly dusty the glass was that it made me feel so disgusted I wanted to cancel my order. Everything looks like it would be amazing but it's not the greatest. I got a small slice of cheesecake for 6.50 but it didn't taste like cheesecake and was too dense but I had to force myself to finish it because it was almost 7 dollars. Extremely SLOW SERVICE. They business only has one line, one cash register and one person taking orders. For a new business, this is awful. The owner should visit 85 Degree Bakery to see how organized and fluid the lines move and customers are served. Due to the long lines, I definitely will not be a repeat customer. After waiting in the long line for 35 minutes, we finally ordered three pastries. A slice of red velvet cake, a cup cake carrot cake and pistachio cup cake. I was truly disappointed with the quality. There has been a lot of hype regarding this new establishment however after my experience, it's definitely not worth the long wait time and very expensive proves. I came on two different occasions and I was very unimpressed, the pastries look good but they taste kind of old and the ingredients taste like low quality. The whipped cream in the pastries taste fake, I do wonder how much is made in house. The croissant we ordered was very hard and the coffee tasted bland I ordered the white chocolate macadamia latte and I couldn't tell it had any of the flavors listed. My bf ordered the caramel latte and it hardly tasted like caramel they actually both tasted the same, I couldn't tell them apart. The I got was the Tiramisu matcha but I felt like it was a little too bitter although the foam on top was good. I might give them another try in the future but for now I'd probably pick somewhere else to get these or similar items. The service is good the employees are really nice. I went there with my two kids. We purchased three croissants and one hot Spanish latte coffee, which was way smaller than a tall at Starbucks (for reference). It came out to $29. Just an FYI on hot coffees: they only have one size cup. I literally drank all of that within four sips. The service was good, no complaints there. They are doing their jobs. But after seeing the size of my coffee and knowing how serious I am about my coffee, it wasn't even that amazing or memorable, or something I would want to come back for. I think it's overpriced. Maybe I could have said it's because of the building or the ambience of it being Instagram photos;but, It's not, so I do believe this place is very overpriced on their coffees for the amount and the taste. The croissants were fairly priced, and I forgot to add that. I also got two dog treats from there, and my dogs liked them, but I would not go back because of the pricing on the coffees and the taste of thier latte It's not worth it for me. I was really disappointed with my experience here. My drink wasn't made correctly, so I politely asked if it could be remade or if I could get a different drink. Instead of offering a proper solution, they just added more syrup to it. Unfortunately, that only made it taste worse and overly sweet.You would think there would be some kind of policy in place for situations like this, especially when a customer isn't satisfied with their drink. The cake was not the right consistency of a chiffon cake in my opinion plus it cost $56. I normally get them for about $35 at either 85 degrees or Uncle Chuang's Bakery. Suggested to the pink haired staff to maybe consider a second register and i was told that they have no room for that. Their Rancho branch has two registers and that I'm welcome to go there. My only issue is that they have 1 cashier (at the time of me going 9/19/25) and that is annoying due to the amount of people that they shouldve expected.
