Good office communications. Professional tech, repaired my dead microwave. He was clean and polite. It took 2 trips as he had to order the part. Not cheap, $400.00 which included the labor and 2 trips, but a necessary expense. My entire kitchen, 15 years old, had matching appliances. Kitchenaid no longer made my style of door handle. A new Kitchenaid microwave in this high end class would be over $1,400 and would not match my other appliances. I recommend this company. read more

This is an incredible company! The tech (Jeremy) that arrived at our door only 60 minutes after placing the original call, gave an honest and fair evaluation on our down washing machine. We spent $300 on fixing our dryer and within 2 months it quit getting hot again. Prior to that we had a squealing issue that they were supposed to have fixed that continued until my wife punched the dryer and it thumped really loud and finally quit. read more

I called at 7:45 this morning (through Appliance Pro) to set up an appointment for a simple repair on my dryer. The person I spoke with set up a time between 8 and noon tomorrow. They gave me a detailed description of how the appointment with the service technician would go. They also told me that I would receive an email this afternoon with a 2-hour window for the appointment. At 5:15 today, I received a call from Mr. Appliance, telling me they were calling to set up an appointment and the earliest they had was Wednesday morning. When I told her that I had already made an appointment, she said I did not. If they had told me Wednesday during the first call, I would have called another company. I had a used refrigerator that I purchased for 400 dollars and then ended up needing it to be repaired quickly after buying it... Anyway I chose this company and ended up spending 300 dollars on two parts to fix it... Didn't fix it at all and got told told I'd have to shell out more than the fridge retails to actually fix it. So I payed 300 bucks and got stuck with parts that didn't fix the problem. Wish they would have just given me the finger and kicked me in the face. Would have hurt a lot less than being screwed out of that much money for nothing. No sorry we charged you for pointless bs or anything. So beyond disappointed. read more

Call somewhere else! Paid over $700 and my fridge is STILL not working! I have called multiple times to remedy this situation. Misty (office girl) is friendly but has NO decision making and the manager won't return my calls. At this point they ignore my calls completely. For other unhappy customers National franchise number is 1-800-490-7501 Tina is the direct contact at corporate 4/28- fridge was not cooling or making ice. Tech came out diagnosed my fridge as a mother board-- it was clearly having an ice build up and circulation issue. When I ask for clarification tech insisted it was the mother board. I also ask to order a new ice bucket. Confirmed he would order at next appointment. Charge was $504.75 and I made a prepayment to order the part. 5/25 -- installed mother board. Ordered ice tray. Charge was $123.74 and paid remaining balance for new mother board. --Called mid June as fridge had no improvements. Was not making ice and was not cooling. Requested another tech come look at fridge. 6/15 -- Original tech was who arrived and installed ice tray. Paid $123.74 of remaining balance. Looked at fridge and let me know it needed "Y clips". Ordered clips. Tech also stated "he didn't know what was wrong with the fridge and they are difficult to work on". I wish he would have told me this prior to paying over $700 to repair. On 6/15 our fridge hadn't had any improvements and we didn't trust tech to work on it. Tech was essentially thawing our fridge to defrost the ice build up but not fixing the problem as to why ice was building up. So each time he was here it would work for 2-3 weeks. We have tried to make it work as it stays a little chilled but today temp was 60 degrees in fridge and now doesn't cool at all. Very upset that we paid $700 for our fridge to be exactly what it was in April when we originally called. I have requested they refund me and pick up this unnecessary mother board and put my old one back in as their part has done nothing and to please send someone else. I have also had to call their national franchise to help remedy the situation as no one can give me a direction for resolution at their office. So I paid over $700 total for a fridge that still doesn't work. Here is his condensed "response" for lack of characters after 3 months ""Dear Mrs. Renea, I apologize for the lack of communication you received in regard to your service repair. It is never our intention for customers to not receive good communication and updates about their order status. This uncertain time of Covid-19 and quarantine has left us stretched thin while making sure our staff is healthy and safe. (He stated they above timeline but this was removed for lack of characters) We received another call stating that your refrigerator was once again not working and we sent a different service professional to troubleshoot per your request and it was found that your unit had a crack through the back of the unit now allowing ambient air to enter into the cooling area causing you additional issues.It is unfortunate that this refrigerators components did not hold up and where failing so quickly. But due to the fact that the repairs were made successfully until more issues we found, we are not able to offer you a refund."" read more

I really hoped I would never have to write this review. The first time that Mr. Appliance came out to my house they did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the the burner that they fixed literally blew apart 15 months later, past the warranty. The technician finally showed up a week and a half later. As if it that wasn't bad enough, he said it would cost $234.83 to fix the stove. On 8/17/2020 he assured me that all this would cover the repair but all he ordered was a new wiring harness. When a second technician finally showed up install the wiring on 8/29/2020 he installed the harness and them said that I needed a new burner. Could he not tell that the burner was bad and that he couldn't repair it as was? The repair cost went from $234.83--which was barely worthwhile--to $399.54. I don't know if the initial technician was incompetent or if the company was trying to do a bait and switch on me. Whatever the case, I cancelled the entire process and bought a brand new stove, a standard coil assembly, instead of another glass top, for $449 (excluding tax, installation, etc., of course.) I don't think that Mr. Appliance is a bad company but, clearly, their initial technician (two different technicians showed up along the way) was clearly negligent in including the cost of the replacement burner, $180.39. At the time, even I as a NOT professional could tell that the burner wiring was toast--and the technician said the same thing. Why didn't the first technician include the burner as part of the repair cost? At the same time, the second technician showed up and installed the new wiring and only then announced that I needed a new burner. Indeed, why was this VERY obvious problem not included on the first estimate? These people are supposed to be professionals, after all. Too, when I tried to follow up with the company (8/31/2020), after deciding to get a replacement stove, I was unable to get an answer. As I said, I'd like to think this is a good company--or at least it used to be. Still, their answering message says that they are not accepting new customers because of covid-19. With this kind of service, I don't think that they are going to have to worry about being overwhelmed with new customers. It's so sad but I guess these things happen.
