If you're looking for a great cleaning service then Opulent is the right choice. Even my mother in law was impressed!! (And that's saying something!) They were VERY friendly and they were hard at work cleaning the window sills and bathroom upstairs. We left and didn't come back until the next day. The kitchen looked amazing and all the counters were great! But the floors weren't swept - AT ALL. And it was rather egregious with dust bunnies and leaves that had blown in, so I don't think they forgot. We also paid an extra $40 for grout cleaning in the master bath, but that wasn't done. It looked like they ran out of time? I had filled out all the information on how many bedrooms and baths needed cleaning, but I don't know how long they had allotted. I came back the next day to sweet and scrub the bathtub and grout myself. I let MyHoustonMaids know and the manager contacted me and refunded just the amount I paid for grout cleaning. I'd use a different company next time - especially for a move-out when you don't have time for them to come back and fix it. You get what you pay for, I think, and this company is quite cheap.

A lot of corners cut and just carelessness-- Moroccan rug sucked up into vacuum cleaner making a large hole, acid used in my stainless kitchen sink causing a chemical reaction that created rust on the stainless, scratched the stainless on my fridge (looks as if they used a scrubbing pad in it and if that isn't enough-- out fitted sheeted were put in the beds inside out and too sheet an quilt put on sideways. Just so disappointing. I wanted to like this company but each cleaning brought new problems and damages. The lead cleaner left her crew at my house without supervision for my last and final cleaning!

I was informed that the Basic Cleaning was what I needed and quoted $115, which seemed kind of steep considering the fact that my house was clean already and just needed some detailing, but figured if it got the house squeaky clean before baby gets here then it's worth it. The house was not squeaky cleaned. Evidently their version of a "Basic Clean" is the same thing that my mom and I do on a daily/weekly basis. (Dust, sweep, mop, toilet, tub.) Whenever I asked why the baseboards weren't done I was informed it's $25 extra and that I didn't mention them when I called (actually I did mention them, not being able to reach the baseboards is the whole reason I called - but I shouldn't be surprised since I did have to repeat myself several times while on the phone with her due to a slight language barrier). Evidently cleaning the outside front of a bathtub is extra too. Along with door frames and that hard to reach area behind the toilet... So much for a detailed bathroom. Very much a waste of $115, especially since we have a baby due any day now and having the house detailed was something I set aside much needed money for so that we could come home to an extra clean home. Now I'll spend the rest of the day attempting to reach the spots they didn't clean. The staff who cleaned were very nice, one even went around with a rag and did a halfway job of wiping down the baseboards for me even though the owner/supervisor was rude over the phone and told me it would cost extra. However if they took a little more pride in their work, and included basic things that any home cleaning service I've ever used before automatically includes in their version of CLEAN, they would have had another satisfied customer.

Carlos was extremely friendly on the phone and made special arrangements to come out to my house that day! He even gave me updates via text as to the status of the cleaners so I knew their ETA. Included in the cleaning was inside and outside the refrigerator and oven. Again, spotless work. They cleaned the entire house in a few hours and it looks brand new and smells fresh.
