Checked in fine... Later arrival after spring training baseball game. I thought all was going to be awesome... I had confirmed days prior to arrival and there is a note on all my reservations. **down allergies family** attention to detail is the Bottom line! I am a platinum elite bonvoy rewards member and appreciated the warm reception from the front desk staff... So first thing is first.... I have a serious down allergy. That means with down feather pillows that I come in contact with it could lead to a hospital trip. It was listed on my reservation.... always is... Didn't happen. I took pillow down to the front desk and dropped off. Aamil and the lady upfront apologizing... They were not the cause of my frustration. I do appreciate them and their service this night.... especially because they were pouring my drinks when I sat at the bar!! I thought an apology would happen at some point from management...not so much.. I will clearly chalk this up as a fail for Moxy Hotels.... as this seems to be missed by several of the Marriott chain hotels...and I continue to be loyal...(head scratching I know) The 2 star rating was given because the check-in experience was having me at zero stars...but the evening and morning staff working (Aamil, Kiara) was superb!! Smiling and friendly. Unfortunate experience So many choices out there ... Was told I was getting comped breakfast. After checking out - I get on the plane and find out I got charged for the comped breakfast... Questions just reach out! Respectfully, Bryan Oklahoma City

Review based on 9/21/24 stay. Was suppose to be 2 nights but after the first night we went elsewhere. I hate giving bad reviews but this hotel has been the absolute worst hotel experience I have had in my adult life. I would consider this more of a motel but with doors on the inside than a hotel. There is no hospitality from the front desk employees upon check in or even when we checked out a day early. The first young lady did not call my daughter over when we checked in, she just looked at her, did not give directions on where our room was located, did not give a warm send off. When she came to give us new card to the second room she literally just handed it over and said nothing. The girl who helped us check out was on the phone when we walked up and had an attitude with the person on the phone and when she helped us, no welcome, threw our room keys, didn't ask if there was any issues, nothing. Both of these girls should not be representing this establishment. The first room we got was dirty, had a used wash clothes hanging in the bathroom, desk was not wiped down, there was stuff all over the floor. I was shocked the beds were even made. The second room was cleaned and beds were comfortable but you can hear so much noise from the main street in front. There is a family of bird living in the side of the building that made noise on top of the street noise all night. There are no amenities in the room, like a fridge or microwave, no dresser, no closet, no coffee maker, not even bottled water. The parking lot is beat up and needs work. The first elevator sounds like it's gonna break down, go to the other one down the hall for your safety. The only positive I have is when we called about our first room being dirty, the gentleman who answered was nice and he felt really bad, maybe he is the manager so he cares a little more. This place needs a serious make over in hospitality training. We will never go back. I'm sure they are use to dealing with rude people all the time since it's so close to the college but don't be rude to nice people who haven't been rude to you yet.

Are stay was horrible. First room the sheets were dirty. VERY DIRTY. The phone didn't work nor did the outlets. The second room the tv didn't work. The third room the shower is dirty and we had the worst sleep of our life because the thermostat didn't work. We were so cold. I even turned in up to 80* and it still is about 60*. DO NOT STAY HERE

There is a very long live edge table that is nice to use for eating or workspace.

Its is weird to check in to the hotel with the bartender and have tour room bumbers given to you aloud with ppl sitting maybe two three feet from you on either side. However that was my experience checking into this hotel and that makes me uncomfortable. Next while checking in i was asked are you just here for the day? Uh... no. But after i saw my room and my blanket had a big old stain on it I wished I was here for just the day... Went to housekeeping asked for my room to get a new grey bedcover. Instead of housekeeping doing this for me I started my visit to Tempe remaking a bed that hadnt been even sat on yet. Not happy about that. Then scrolling thru my reservation i notice housekeeping isnt even guaranteed. So that makes sense why the staff didnt offer to do this. Still i expect more from a marriottt branded hotel. This hotel is really geared to a segment I am no longer in. 20 yr ild me would be like this so sooooo cool. 40+ me is like "hmmmmmm". The lobby is dark but open. It has cool lighting. Lots of seating. a pool table, fusbol, had guitars on the wall u could borrow and bring back and a lot of free pinball machines. Large tables for dining or working. Its very comfortable with a young hip vibe. Big bar in the center where drinks and food can be ordered. This also can be accessed by the pool area that is adjacent to lobby What I hate obviously is you check in at the bar. Weird. The hallways are colorful. There is one pink door per floor where guests have keyed access to towels, toiletries and ironing supplies. The room is clean but humid. Wish u could iron in your own room. I disliked needing to go way down the hall for that. Pool is a good size and offers floaties and when on deck there are cabanas. Fun. It was a little dirty last night so we did not use it. Room: i had 2 queen beds. They were very comfortable. So far haven't had one bed bug bite me. Yay, as four months ago someone left a review with pictures of them being eaten alive so I was fearful of this. But again my room was fine. However- Its a very dim room. 20 yr old me would love this. Me now- too dark for my liking. Bathroom fixtures excellent. Sliding glass doors. Fancy hand held modern shower fixtures. Large overhead shower head. A+. Con: exhaust fan is quiet but the bath gets VERY humid. Had avocado toast from the kitchen. It was average nothing special. Get something else is my recommendation. Every time I was by bar lots were eating, it looked good and fresh. Grab and go pantry is excellent. Lots of things to chose from. Staff welcoming. Management excellent. I asked for a pool side room w balcony. I got ground floor. Disliked the location. Room was fine, clean, safe. I have to say i feel there were a lot of tinder hookups going on here that particular night (not a fault of Moxy by any means)which created a temp weird vibe. Made me uncomfortable. For that reason I steered clear of the bar. I chose to shorten my stay and find a different hotel primarily due to the low light of the room.

I came here for a really large work party and the best way to describe the ambiance was a nice wedding reception without a wedding. We had beautifully decorated tables with assigned seats, fun music, a bar, and photo ops. The drinks were good - in my opinion they were pretty standard event cocktails. Definitely tasty, but not craft cocktail level drinks. When it came time to eat and we all went through the buffet, I had pretty low expectations since it is a buffet to feed over 100 people. I have to say though, the food was really and truly wonderful. Best event food I've had hands down. Overall if you're looking for a fun place for your next large party this is a great option. I'd be happy to have a reason to go back!

I have been impressed by the professionalism of the staff, the layout of the very nice rooms, the way the ballroom works for large events, and the various restaurants and bars in the hotel. Bloom & Blueprint

Bloom & Blueprint

Let me begin by saying planning a wedding is a strange experience unlike anything I've ever done…read more (Hopefully) you only do it once and so it's generally not something you come into well practiced. That said it's easy to let hubris kick in and think "throw a big party... how hard could that be? Maybe I'll do it myself"... DON'T. Of all the investments you will make into your wedding the choice of hiring a wedding planner might be the most important. Stranger yet is that you need to make this choice up front, but the true value is back-end loaded as you get closer to the event. Be patient. When you are feeling the pressure of pulling off one of the most important events of your lifetime and ensuring your 150 person guest list has an amazing time and that a venue you've never been to before beyond the tour is everything you wanted and more on the day, in your pictures, and in your memories, Bloom and Blueprint will be there. Casey was an absolute joy to work with. Up front she put in the work to help put us in contact with prospective vendors, give us guidance on the process, do some budget planning, and get some input on what we were looking for and generally give us an overview of what to expect along the way. She adjusted her style to ours letting us be as involved as we wanted to be and also present for anything we needed when we had questions. The truly heavy lifting started about 3-4 months out from the wedding date as the design meetings came about and it was time to start putting together a show-flow. If we had been left to do any of the design ourselves it would likely have been nice, but what Maggie and her team did was nothing short of stunning, and would have been impossible for us to come up with even with years to plan. We and our guests loved how original, fun, elevated, and high quality the decorations and florals were. We had a 14 hour day of ceremony, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our requests were that we wanted it to feel effortless and unhurried to us and our guests. We wanted time to eat the food, drink the drinks, dance, and actually hang out with our guests. We didn't want to be ushered from place to place to check all the wedding boxes, we just wanted to have a good time on our wedding day with our favorite people. Casey organized everything in such a way that it felt seamless. Organizing the many vendors, working with the venue and advocating on our behalf, making sure none of the little details went overlooked and fighting any fires that come up to reduce the stress of the last minute unwelcome surprises. A story to highlight this was that one of our linens for the table coverings had become a central template for our program designs and seating chart etc. On the Thursday before our Saturday Wedding Casey and Maggie discovered that the linens were stuck in Chicago and were at risk of not arriving on time. Casey spent hours visiting other linen stores around AZ to find an alternate vendor, but the linens were proprietary to the original shop. In order to make sure their problem did not become our problem, Casey called me with a solution: they'd swap the tables and then do a custom wrap on the tables with the print. It turned out better and more impressive than if the linens had arrived as planned and there were no surprise expenses. We could not be happier with the way our wedding turned out and it is thanks in large part to Casey and Maggie.

We worked with Bloom and Blueprint for our wedding and originally booked them for partial planning,…read morebut we quickly upgraded to full planning after realizing how incredible Casey was! We were anxious about the price, but it was absolutely worth it to have the details taken care of for you. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Casey is extremely thorough, communicates clearly, and takes all the stress out of the process. Our wedding weekend was such a success thanks to her dedication and hard work -- she truly made us feel like we were the only couple that mattered that weekend. Her knowledge of South Asian multicultural weddings was impressive (honestly, she knew more than I did!). We couldn't have asked for a better planner and can't recommend Casey and Bloom and Blueprint enough!
