We worked with Bloom and Blueprint for our wedding and originally booked them for partial planning, but we quickly upgraded to full planning after realizing how incredible Casey was! We were anxious about the price, but it was absolutely worth it to have the details taken care of for you. From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Casey is extremely thorough, communicates clearly, and takes all the stress out of the process. Our wedding weekend was such a success thanks to her dedication and hard work -- she truly made us feel like we were the only couple that mattered that weekend. Let me begin by saying planning a wedding is a strange experience unlike anything I've ever done. (Hopefully) you only do it once and so it's generally not something you come into well practiced. That said it's easy to let hubris kick in and think "throw a big party... how hard could that be? Maybe I'll do it myself"... DON'T. Of all the investments you will make into your wedding the choice of hiring a wedding planner might be the most important. Stranger yet is that you need to make this choice up front, but the true value is back-end loaded as you get closer to the event. Be patient. When you are feeling the pressure of pulling off one of the most important events of your lifetime and ensuring your 150 person guest list has an amazing time and that a venue you've never been to before beyond the tour is everything you wanted and more on the day, in your pictures, and in your memories, Bloom and Blueprint will be there. Casey was an absolute joy to work with. Up front she put in the work to help put us in contact with prospective vendors, give us guidance on the process, do some budget planning, and get some input on what we were looking for and generally give us an overview of what to expect along the way. She adjusted her style to ours letting us be as involved as we wanted to be and also present for anything we needed when we had questions. The truly heavy lifting started about 3-4 months out from the wedding date as the design meetings came about and it was time to start putting together a show-flow. If we had been left to do any of the design ourselves it would likely have been nice, but what Maggie and her team did was nothing short of stunning, and would have been impossible for us to come up with even with years to plan. We and our guests loved how original, fun, elevated, and high quality the decorations and florals were. We had a 14 hour day of ceremony, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Our requests were that we wanted it to feel effortless and unhurried to us and our guests. We wanted time to eat the food, drink the drinks, dance, and actually hang out with our guests. We didn't want to be ushered from place to place to check all the wedding boxes, we just wanted to have a good time on our wedding day with our favorite people. Casey organized everything in such a way that it felt seamless. Organizing the many vendors, working with the venue and advocating on our behalf, making sure none of the little details went overlooked and fighting any fires that come up to reduce the stress of the last minute unwelcome surprises. A story to highlight this was that one of our linens for the table coverings had become a central template for our program designs and seating chart etc. On the Thursday before our Saturday Wedding Casey and Maggie discovered that the linens were stuck in Chicago and were at risk of not arriving on time. Casey spent hours visiting other linen stores around AZ to find an alternate vendor, but the linens were proprietary to the original shop. In order to make sure their problem did not become our problem, Casey called me with a solution: they'd swap the tables and then do a custom wrap on the tables with the print. It turned out better and more impressive than if the linens had arrived as planned and there were no surprise expenses. We could not be happier with the way our wedding turned out and it is thanks in large part to Casey and Maggie. read more

When we first decided to do a destination wedding in Arizona we quickly realized that we wanted a wedding planner; choosing vendors sight unseen was too stressful and we wanted someone local to provide their recommendations. Our introductory meeting with a different planner was disappointing; the spiel was basically "there are a million things that can go wrong in a wedding and I'm here to prevent that". Sorta daunting and we ended the meeting with a negative vibe. Erika was our second call and she was entirely the opposite: positive, warm/friendly, and our takeaway was "she can provide us with a unique wedding catered to our personalities". This proved to be entirely true. Through our numerous meetings with Erika (and a couple with Kate) we systematically nailed down all of the important details and planned our perfect day. We wanted alpacas at cocktail hour, toyed around with karaoke at the reception, and wanted to incorporate our love of puzzles into the decor and B+B delivered. Not only did they take 95% of the stress off of me with their meetings, good communication, and reassurance but they also created a vision for our wedding that felt absolutely unique to us. Our color palette was one I haven't seen before, we had interesting details everywhere, and our guests raved about all of the personal touches. Kate had also put together a video ahead of time to help us visualize the design and that was was so helpful for us to make decisions since we had something visual to review rather than vague ideas or a mood board. B+B additionally delivered on their vendor recommendations. Our photographer was one I hadn't found in my limited research and she was the best possible fit for us. Food was delicious, DJ was gregarious, and our guests asked about the bakery that made our cake because they liked it so much (I've never liked wedding cake enough to ask about it before haha) The entire B+B team was also super responsive and helpful; we felt so supported both leading up to the wedding and on the actual day. We look back on our wedding with nothing but happy (and funny) memories and have gorgeous photos to review; I'll never be able to thank Bloom and Blueprint enough for making this memory happen for us. read more

When I booked them, I was under the impression that they were a floral and decor design company only, however, they offer planning from start to finish as well! Major win, a one stop shop! I had the BB Squad build a fresh flower + greenery wall for our ceremony backdrop and HOLY HEAVEN, it came out even better than I had ever dreamed of! {See photos}. They also put flowers along the aisle chairs to spice up our aisle experience as well. Erika Edholm is the most unprofessional and rudest human I have ever met in my life. She single handedly ruined our wedding and never apologized. Kate is wonderful, but unfortunately you can't get one without the other. If you enjoy having your personal property destroyed and "go missing," then hire this woman immediately, she won't let you down. Check out her other yelp reviews, especially Jane M. below. I'm not the first bride that had things magically disappear while in Erika Edholm's personal care. But don't worry, you sign a waiver absolving her of all liability! Who cares that she ripped up our ketubah--our religious and holy marriage license--or allowed it to happen on her watch. Either way, we trusted her and she betrayed that trust and laughed all the way to the bank. Also-If you're not a skinny instagram influencer with at least 20k followers, Erika will treat you like you are sub-human. Which is funny, because she's a giant slob who showed up to my FORMAL wedding in a VISIBLE BRA, tank top and hot shorts. She really pulled the look off with her messy hair and flipflops. I had so many guests ask me who the homeless person was at The Sanctuary. I was so excited to see that wreck of a woman in the background of our wedding video and photographs. I'm slightly disappointed with Bloom+Blueprint. I can't speak on their design skills as they will not be working with me for my wedding. I found B+B via my wedding venue, and signed B+B as my florist early on as they were a partnered vendor. I did my design meeting with them, and received concept ideas and quotes and was so excited! Unfortunately, B+B "ghosted" me and stopped returning emails and phone calls 4.5 months out from the wedding. The wedding venue can't get ahold of them either. Moral of the story- their work is beautiful but I'm disappointed in their work ethic as I had high hopes in working with them. A simple reply to my email stating they would no longer be working with us would've been nice, and I'm still wondering what I did to be ghosted by a vendor after months of discussing my wedding with them. I typically don't write reviews- but I wanted other brides to avoid this happening to them as wedding planning is already stressful without flakey wedding vendors. read more

Bloom + Blueprint is an absolute nightmare of a "company". If you enjoy being ghosted and blatantly lied to by someone that you've paid thousands of dollars to, then don't hesitate to hire them. After changing my venue to be more COVID friendly, I spent the next 6 months scheduling calls with B+B only to be cancelled on last minute or completely stood up. They only allow you to schedule calls in the middle of the day in the middle of the work week. Apparently the calls aren't only inconvenient for their clients, but for them as well since they never seemed to be able to make it (nevermind the fact that I had to block out time during work to accommodate them). They also never answer emails. I'm assuming they are just too busy posting on instagram 20 times a day to respond to actual clients. Cut to 4 weeks before my wedding, I received an email from Erika (the owner) saying that they don't do follow up meetings or change anything in the poorly photoshopped rendering that we received two years prior for an entirely different venue. Both of which were news to me, as B+B was the one who suggested having follow up design meetings and offered to use the amount we had already paid for something new in lieu of canceling our event altogether. Erika also claimed that the rendering was "straight forward", so I guess that's why they just ghosted me for 6 months? Again, the rendering was for a different venue almost 2 years prior (we postponed due to COVID). The original rendering was mostly for a ceiling installation and our new location is a rooftop. I guess if you eliminate any semblance of common sense and completely disregard gravity, then it is pretty straight forward! I also spent $600 on a custom neon sign two years ago that was supposed to be the focal point of the installation. When I asked Erika when I should bring her the sign, she told me to bring it to the venue on the wedding day. When I asked how they would plan the installation around the sign without knowing the dimensions or any other information she said "We are familiar with neon signs." Apparently they are first designers in history that don't use dimensions. So not only do I have to lug around a 20 lb sign on my wedding day, who even knows if it will look good with the installation. They also tried to tell me that the neon sign may blow off the rooftop if there's any wind. Apparently they expect a tornado...in Arizona. Oh, but they did offer a refund "if we wanted to go in another direction" at 4 weeks out from our wedding, even though we asked for this 1.5 years ago and they said no refunds. "The other direction" must mean working with someone who actually responds to you and at least pretends to treat you like a human. Needless to say, I'm currently making all of the decorations for my wedding at the last minute. read more

It's really hard to put into words how amazing and attentive Christina, Kate, and the rest of the team at Bloom + Blueprint were from start to finish. They made our day so incredibly special, and we owe a lot to them. If it weren't for them, our day wouldn't have come together without a hitch, for sure. It was such a special day, and we celebrated our intimate wedding in Saguaro National Park, and then had a reception nearby. The process was incredibly collaborative and Christina went above and beyond to make it happen. She connected us with vendors around the area for hotels, food (the tacos were THE BEST), rentals, and other items. She was incredibly communicative and spent a lot of time reaching out to folks and connecting the dots. It took a lot of the weight off our shoulders, and we're so thankful we had her. Meanwhile, Kate made sure the florals, design, and vision all came together. She was even printing some placards I had designed the day before for our wedding... Like, if that's not top-notch service, I don't know what is. Our wedding was beautiful, so beautiful. All thanks to Bloom + Blueprint. Needless to say, we threw several twists and turns into our wedding planning process, and it took us a bit to align on what we really wanted for our day. Christina listened, offered great input and ideas, and stuck with us the whole way. When it came down to making our final selections and getting payments put down, she made that part of the process incredibly smooth, as well. We owe a lot to Christina and her team and we were so thankful to have them. Aside from their service, they're just good people. I know we'll stay connected via social media and definitely be in touch over the years to come. Wow. Words cannot even begin to express how thankful I am to have had these women be a part of my big day. It was so effortless to work with Kate and Erika, as they are just so down to earth! In addition to that, Kate has such a great sense of design, and totally understood the look I was going for. I was led to Bloom and Blueprint by my fantastic photographer, who seemed to get the vibe and type of wedding we were looking for and knew this might be a good fit. I met with Kate and Erika and instantly fell in love. I had spoken to other planners in the Valley and they all made me feel as though I was below their pay grade and that they only wanted to work on weddings that were on the more luxe end. I never got that impression from these ladies and they always made it apparent they were more than willing to accommodate any budget. We ended up hiring them for partial planning, design and florals. I had an inkling of what I wanted for our big day, but had a hard time vocalizing exactly what it was we were hoping for or making it come to life. You see the boards on Pinterest and think "I want that!" but it's difficult to execute. Kate was able to take my confusing words and ideas and pinned ideas and turn them into reality. She came up with several ideas that helped really bring the concept together and make it a cohesive and beautiful day. And her florals are UNBELIEVABLE! I received so many compliments on her work! She and Erika were both very responsive throughout the process and recommended vendors where I needed them and were great about giving feedback on what I needed to be doing and when. The wonderful Erika helped orchestrate the timing of the day and make sure everything and everyone knew when it was supposed to be happening. Her organizational skills are top notch! Our wedding ended up being on one of the coldest and rainiest days Arizona has seen in quite a bit. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour planned and Erika was able to rearrange the format and still make our day perfect, rain or shine. She and the other Bloom and Blueprint ladies worked their tails off throughout the reception to make sure it all went off without a hitch! I was hoping to give Bloom and Blue print my Feedback, Instead of writing a negative review, but they never called me back. My daughter got married at the Wrigley mansion November 2018. My complaints are on the blueprint part of the company. The flowers were beautiful and just what we wanted! The wedding coordinator added no value and actually detracted from the experience. A boutonniere went missing before the wedding and when asked what we should do. Her response was "I am not on the flower side of the company". The maid of honor took charge and made a boutonniere with a flower out of her bouquet. We were unable to locate her a number of times. She was on her phone the entire Reception. A glass broke on the dance floor a few feet from her and she didn't even look up. I had to go tell her. She never once asked if we needed any help. Seemed kind of bored and annoyed at being there. Pretty much just texted and stared at her phone the entire time. My father-in-law did not get his meal when the rest of that table was served. I asked the coordinator to check on it. She did not move she just said she thinks it was being handled. Besides being inconvenient he is diabetic and needed to eat. Then my husband went and asked her and got the same response. We were supposed to meet with her before the wedding but she canceled and never rescheduled. I should've gotten a clue then. All the reviews we have read were so wonderful about this company and our experience was not. Even months later it is still upsetting to think about. My daughter wanted me to wait to write a review because she had not gotten all her items back from the coordinator. The Bloom part of the Company was amazing! The flowers were beautiful and just what my daughter wanted! Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the Wedding coordinator's performance. Or lack of it! read more

I worked with Kate and Erika for a wedding shoot that I was hosting for 15 other photographers and I can't say enough good things about them! Honestly from start to finish they were so organized and dedicated to this shoot. I gave Kate from control of the design of this event. From florals, to cake design, invitation suites, reception table design even down to the attire for the bridal party. She definitely has that eye for design and vision.
