I can't say enough amazing things about Kate and the incredible team at Bloom & Blueprint! When I booked them, I was under the impression that they were a floral and decor design company only, however, they offer planning from start to finish as well! Major win, a one stop shop! I had the BB Squad build a fresh flower + greenery wall for our ceremony backdrop and HOLY HEAVEN, it came out even better than I had ever dreamed of! {See photos}. They also put flowers along the aisle chairs to spice up our aisle experience as well. Kate is one of the most talented floral designers that i've ever met and her sweetness makes the entire design process fun and seamless. Trust me, they can make ANY wedding decor vision come to life. If you have a vision but aren't sure how to make it happen, seriously contact Bloom & Blueprint, they WILL make it happen! Pinterest ideas aren't scary when you have a dream team who can actually create your vision! I can't thank them enough!!!

Making the drink station super elegant :)

Liked Erika a lot. The rest was frazzled. Planner assigned didn't listen to my needs. I had to tightly manage her.

In addition to that, Kate has such a great sense of design, and totally understood the look I was going for.

I rarely send flowers as practice or gesture to express my loving touch; my lovable side... Partly…read morebecause my mom isn't really into them and neither are any of my sisters... Cool. Anyways, one of my lifelong, close friends -- an epitome in camaraderie and deep amity -- received very painful news today that her brother passed from Nature to Eternity earlier this morning. Instantly, her heartfelt pain was mine. Gazing pensively out of my window into the distance, I wondered how could I send her a pick-me-up as she lives on one side of The Mississippi Divide and I live on the other... Conundrums. After some Yelp surfing, I placed a call to Lighthouse Flower Shop five minutes before they were scheduled to open, spoke to Lisa, and she treated me like the most important being in the vast galaxy. Nice. Following small talk, chuckles, and giggles -- all confirmation signs, perhaps, from the Universe -- I knew I was in the right place, a precious place. Yes. Thought for a minute about the tone to a measured memo, a nice note, for the card. Then placed my order at a terrific price, and sat back and waited like a precocious plumb nine year old waiting for the magic to happen on Christmas, notwithstanding the ache and pain my friend was embracing and enduring! Life. Long story short: My dear friend loved the gesture and the floral arrangement saying, "The flowers are beautiful. My goodness. Thank you... my heart is glowing because someONE (you) wanted to show me your heart... genuinely." Awe. And the rest speaks for itself. (Insert happy faces, red hearts, and blue people hugs here. Go nuts!)

The lady (assume owner) was knowledgeable and very accommodating to my budget. I felt very comfortable with her recommendations. She provided a beautiful arrangement that was exactly what I was looking for. She even sent me a lovely photo. I am so happy I found Lighthouse! Highly recommend!

I was researching florists for my daughter's large-scale wedding and came across this post. It…read morestopped me cold. To me, the store's response says a great deal about how it does business. A customer sent flowers and, according to the owner, berated a staff member. Apparently, there were typos in the message. The owner referred to it as a "very minor typographical error." I strongly disagree. When flowers are sent as a personal gesture, the message is part of the gift. Words matter. The customer apparently called the shop, was unhappy with how the issue was handled and asked to speak with the owner. This seems perfectly reasonable to me. If the owner was not present for the original conversation, it seems unfair to dismiss the customer's concern so completely. When there is a problem, I would hope that it's okay for the customer to ask to speak with the owner. Instead of a clear apology, accountability or an effort to make it right, the owner's response is defensive and dismissive. To make matters worse, an internal message was sent to the customer "by mistake." As shown in the image provided by the reviewer, the comment was crude and insulting. Not providing an apology for that internal message is simply unacceptable. This was not "defending an employee." This was an unprofessional & inappropriate way to avoid responsibility. I understand that customers can be difficult and busy seasons can be stressful. However, pointing out that a floral message was typed incorrectly is not unreasonable. A professional response would have been simple: apologize, acknowledge the mistake, and correct it graciously. After reading this exchange, I would not feel comfortable trusting this business with an important event. I want to work with a florist who is gracious, organized, and accountable when something goes wrong. Courtesy and professionalism matter. I appreciate the reviewer for bringing this exchange to light. I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
