Other than the rooms being tiny and no closet or dressers for your clothes we had a wonderful stay. From the moment we came in there were very friendly.. we recieved 2 drink cards which hit the spot especially after that long flight and drive from the airport. The hotel offers continental breakfast but also has a kitchen where they offer food items. So many restaurants around the hotel we didn't need to eat there. The Bartender Marmat was awesome he hooked me up with his special jalapeño infused tequilla shots and margaritas total fire!!! The cleaning staff are nice rooms are tiny so really not much to clean mainly replace towels and make bed. They offer a scale in the lobby to weigh your outbound luggage for 1 Euro which I would recommend you do. Remember 24 Kilos for check-in bags and 12 kilos per person for carry-on items. If you don't it will cost you €70 which you will not like... Especially if your bringing back suvoniers for family... The do replace water in the room every day 1 per person so couples get 2. Every other month the hold a small flee market inside the lobby giving local small businesses as shot at sales. They offer late check-out till 2PM but make sure the cleaning lady knows or she will you an earful lol. Overall the hotel is postioned in a great area with Bistrot, Bulangeries, Cafes, Quick Marts, and train station stops all with minutes of walking. Every weekend the hold a major fleemarket on the main road 2 streets away which can congest traffic so be prepared. So to warp this up 5 stars just remember the rooms are tiny and you will live out of your bags.

I had such a great stay at the Moxy Paris in Bastille neighborhood! I even booked Moxy Bastille again for my finale night in Paris after traveling around Europe for a couple of weeks. The Moxy Marriott brand is a go to for me because of the fun vibe and amenities. It's a great spot for international travelers with the bar area as a central meeting spot, free drink tickets and fun events. The staff and Bartender Christian were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms and lobby have that perfect style, lovely outdoor space and really nice latte machine 24:7 & deluxe bfast for a little extra $. Favorite bits were the fun bar vibe, awesome location, cool pop up shop/DJ events that happened during my stay . Loved it !

We really enjoyed staying at the Moxy Paris Bastille. As the name says, it is very close to the Bastille markets, and can walk to various restaurants and stores close to the area. Like other Moxy's, it concentrates on things that young people might want (a large bar, places to hang out, late night parties) and exclude what isn't so important (business center, indoor pool). It has a large bar that centers the bottom floor, and you can check-in there. Unlike some other Moxy's, this one does offer a buffet breakfast for Elite Marriott members and we took advantage of that. For the three of us, we got a family room which had a pull out bed couch and a nice balcony overlooking the city. We were offered a welcome drink for each member of our party, all of which was good. They give you two free waters (in paper packaging) everyday to keep oneself hydrated. For it being a hotel geared towards the young, it was actually remarkably quiet on the three nights we stayed (though that's probably just a matter of your neighbors and luck). One big problem was the shower...very low water pressure and constantly fluctuating water temperature (probably related)...this isn't good and the main reason I couldn't give a 5. The Moxy was the most affordable hotel in the Marriott family in Paris proper, and a great place to stay for folks who would not be in their room a lot. The nearest subway station is Chemin Vert (very close...3 minute away) , and from there you can easily get to any other part of the city. Happy exploring!

The travel company that I used to visit Paris booked this hotel for me. I had such a lovely stay here. If you do stay however please note that the rooms are very tiny! Nonetheless, the hotel is very clean and trendy. It's definitely geared more towards the younger generation/millennials. Downstairs there are card games and board games as well as a full service bar. The hotel has this lovely aroma that penetrates the air as soon as you walk in. Every time I walked in I just marveled at that smell! The staff here were pretty friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the views were nice too. Very close by there is a grocery store (Picard) and a Franprix for quick drinks/snacks. Breakfast here is complimentary. It's a very light breakfast, so if you are an American that loves a big breakfast you won't find it here. The light breakfast options they have though are delicious!! There were a mix of pastries included as well that were so yummy! I really enjoyed my stay with the Moxy!

They have recently renovated and opened this Hotel.. its a part of Marriott group and really nice for a hotel in Paris. Basically, everything is new or atleast seems and in very nice condition They have sensor lights even in the hallway, kudos for having to save some electricity. But at the same time - they don't have a mini fridge and/or kettle to even make some tea and hence 4 stars. But i would definitely come back and stay here again next time! Also not to forget their lobby is super fancy and very modern.. (including outside)

Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. The windows were able to open to the other building however you could have coffee by the window and the room was incredibly private. The blackout curtains were a game changer too! I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. The location is awesome, there are many places to eat and shop (must go vintage shopping while in the area as well).

We had a double room with a small balcony that faced the street. It was perfect in every way. The employees were so kind and helpful and spoke beautiful English to our sad French (but we tried!). We did 4 days in Paris and 4 days in the Loire Valley, returning to Paris for our last night. After staying here during the first part of our trip, I cancelled our 2nd Paris hotel and rebooked this one for our last night. It was that perfect. We can't wait to return and without question we will stay here again. Many thanks to the staff at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais for making our stay so lovely.

After a lot of researching and back and forth I selected Hotel Diana for my 4 night stay in Paris…read more I booked directly through their website which was super easy. I selected the queen size bed room - my close friend selected the full size bed room. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick. Fortunately the lift /elevator was working as we had a lot of luggage it all fit as well as myself . The room was small and basic, which I expected being in downtown Paris. The bathroom was simple with a bathtub shower combo. The bed was comfortable and there was a working a/c however it didn't really get the room super cold but kept it comfortable for summer. Fortunately the heat wave was over by the time we arrived. Tne bathroom did get very warm if you were styling your hair or doing your makeup. I would suggest bringing a small portable fan with you if coming in tne summer . The location is the selling point of this hotel. Walking distance to so many cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Sienne River. Felt perfectly safe walking around day or night even solo. Usually there were young men working the front desk. They were always polite however I wish they were able to provide a little more suggestions where to go or how to get around for a first time visitor. Great budget hotel in the 5th.

The room that we had was relatively spacious, with a double bed and some room to move around. The mattress was very comfortable and linens were perfectly clean (no gross bed covering that you typically find in hotels). There was also a relatively spacious bathroom with a nice bath tub (a good find in Paris). The room had quiet, perfectly-working AC and the Wifi was free. There was also a safe in the room. We were basically on a roll. The room also had double windows, which eliminated the noise from the adjacent street (this was amazing). The location is also quite nice. It's in the Latin quarter, walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. Metro access is easy as well, in fact it is on a direct RER B line from CDG airport (station St.Michele) Plus, I haven't even gotten to the best part, which was the breakfast. It was 8 euros, and there was a plentiful selection of breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, and cereals. All was super tasty. Plus the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, brought out in small cute pitchers so you could have a nice servicing. We went all around France during our trip and I still remember the drinks there. Yummy. Overall, the price was right, the location was good, and the rooms were great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Heated mirror in the restroom and the HVAC was good. Comfortable bed. Service was friendly - excellent welcome by Floridita (I may have her name wrong) but she gave us a tour of the important areas of the hotel when we arrived and consistently greeted us every day when she saw us. Maid service and turn down services were also friendly as were the bellmen. Only negatives: our room faced the direction of the Louvre and on Friday night there were street performers singing until close to 1am. Wasn't a problem on the other nights. Also, Brasserie du Louvre, the fancy restaurant in the hotel, was a disappointment. Overall though we would stay there again next trip.

Our bedroom was spacious, the bed nice and perfectly made, the bathroom was also beautifully decorated, and comfortable with good products. We stayed a week, the room rates are steep, but for the lovely rooms, amenities and location it receives 3 full marks, the 4th star was the service team at L'officine that single-handedly made me reconsider and ultimately saved them from a lower " grade ". We had an unfortunate incident with the concierge service, whose staff member was not interested in giving us specific instructions. They were dismissive of my husband (who doesn't speak French) when he asked for directions to the bank for foreign exchange. I had to return to the hotel and speak to her directly in French to get results. We were, for the most part, impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the staff at their bar, as I mentioned above they were the reason I found all their front of the house redeeming qualities I'm not sure if I will stay here or try a different hotel- jury is out. For certain, I'll go back to their lovely bar.
