Reception area was great We came in a large group so it 5ook a moment doenus to get registered and to our rooms. Was not impressed with the hallway, and exteriornof the room. The corridor smelled like a gym locker with day old Jerseys still hanging. The interior of the room was ok. The bathroom and shower were two separate rooms with the bathroom the size of a closet. 6he tub and shower area was adequate Our stay is.planned for three days...anymore than that I would have requested a suite.i did like the fact that I could share devices with the TV which afforded me the opportunity to view additional material via the TV connected to my IPAD.

Great Hotel. Modern spacious rooms. Love the modern designs. Clean minimalist lines. Clean. Friendly professional staff, all first rate run hotel. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Very pleasant stay. Near conference Palais Congress. Near metro & RER lines. View of Eiffel Tower.

I would stay here again. Clean. Good service. And good lounge area. The breakfast was kinda crazy... and just avoid when most of the tourists come through, and it's a much better experience... otherwise, pretty good

Nice western style hotel and conference center. Rooms on the smallish side but very well kept. Had no issues the cleanliness at all. Beds are comfy, but slightly worn. Common area such, are clean and quiet. The lobby is very busy and loud. Breakfast is a loud chaotic experience. Food is good not great. Not worth the 30€ charge.

We stay at this hotel on my most recent visit to Paris the place is nice and clean, we had breakfast there every single day since they have buffet with variety of yummy stuff to eat including big selection of coffees (this was my favorite part) they also have about 3 robots assisting the waiters and waitresses with the dishes that was pretty cute, the sport center is one of the most equipped that I have seen in a hotel and they also have fruits, waters and clean towels. The personal is very attentive and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.(did I mention that this hotel is closed to everything?)

This hotel is 100% recommended! We stayed here for 7 days and we really loved this hotel. Customer service is absolutely amazing. Ralph and Batiste were very helpful actually all the staff were all amazings. The room we stayed in at were so clean and beautiful. We have a nice view of Eiffel Tower. Their breakfast was really eally good. Overall Le Meridien rate is 10 very impressive!!! We love Le Meridien Etoile!!

Ok location but some areas are very worn and the major construction all around makes it about double the time to get to sites. I get it - it's hard when you have so much traffic but the chairs on our floor...well I actually wouldn't sit in them. The rooms are small (expected in large city) but NO USB ports, only European plugs so bring adapters which is really unusual! Plugs by beds limited to one side. I think my room had been give a face lift with new carpet and paint. My parents room was depressing - end of bed fabric was ripped all the way off, toilette was in what appeared to be a closet?! Breakfast, included for us, was ok but for &30? Hard pass. If you do it I suggest going after 830. Seem to have a lot of conference goers here so there is a rush from 630-830 and a lot of the options are emptied quickly. Best part is bread selection Overall for the price and name I just expected more

I love this hotel even though I think Paris is overrated. This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Arc de Triomphe, shopping mall and many fabulous restaurants. There's no coffee maker in the room, but they give you two complimentary coffee vouchers that can be redeemed at the cafe in the lobby. They also give you a free museum pass to the Picasso museum. Be sure to look inside the folder in your room! Rooms are big, the beds are comfy, and there's a robe and slippers in the bathroom which is nice. But beware of the vending machine on the 5th floor! The machine will just take your money!

What a nice hotel, the lobby, the staff, the room, all top notch. We were early upon checkin and they called us when the room was clean, around 1:00pm. Beds are a little lumpy and they don't give you enough bath towels or bars of soap, but most everything is new and modern. Breakfast buffet is 29€ which seems a bit steep. The neighborhood is really nice with lots of shops, cafes, train stations, and amazing restaurants--even a McD's as well!

LE MERIDIEN ETOILE IS AN OLDER HOTEL, BUT THE ROOMS ARE COMFORTABLE =================================================================== If you are a Starwood member you can take advantage of the nice Club Lounge on the Eighth Floor for breakfast, snacks and wine and appetizers in the evening. An added bonus is that there is a great view of the Eiffel Tower. I would just recommend that they do something with all the leafy plants that block the view. The beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet and it was always clean. I'd stay there again.

I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who prefer modern decor. But what's lacking in decor, the hotel makes it up in their location, friendly customer service, comfy bed, and great patio over looking the Eiffel Tower. Yes, you have to pay extra to get rooms with Eiffel Tower view but we found it to be worth it. We enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning and admiring its glittering lights in the evening. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's literally a few minutes away from all the luxury shops, across the street from Cédric Grolet cafe (take-away only), and the famous Cafe Angelina. The Lourve was app. 15 min walk from the hotel. A few upgrades in the room would be recommended: coffee machine (vs calling for coffee or going down to the lobby), mini fridge that's not stocked so we can put our drinks, ice machine (although we would always get our ice on the double whenever we asked for it - kiddos!). I also think newer and updated furniture would also go a long way. We bought the room with the Eiffel Tower and we were lucky to be upgraded to the suite which was amazing! It has 3 small patio overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Seperate large bedroom and living room. The living room has an outdoor patio great for private sunbathing. Oh their bed....super comfortable with great pillows, not one of those that go flat once you put your head on them. I slept like a baby! The staff - everyone we talked to were friendly and helpful. It started with Nicholas who checked us in, the gentlemen at the entrance, the ladies who did great job in cleaning our room and Tonia who checked us out. Overall a great stay and we can't wait to come back.

My favorite part was how I could open the glass doors from our room and let fresh air into the room. The hotel is centrally located as well so it was easy to get to the touristy areas as well as get to the train so we could visit some other parts of the city.

We arrived in Paris by train, traveling with my small boys and a big piece of luggage, and took the subway to Place de l'Opéra, a mildly arduous journey. We walked to the hotel and tried to check in, only to learn that the Park Hyatt would not accommodate us unless we upgraded to a much larger, much more expensive room (we'd neglected to mention the two children in our party when we booked). After much back-and-forth, my mom booked us a room at the Hyatt Madeleine, a more reasonable hotel that still gave us the benefits of her Hyatt status. It was supposedly a short walk from the Hyatt, but we spent a good twenty minutes schlepping across Paris with the children and luggage. (Very grateful to my saintly friend Ava B., who offered key support as a third adult in this unruly party.) Which is all to say, I loved this hotel the minute we walked in, reaching our destination an hour and a half after arriving in Paris. Check-in was smooth and pleasant, and we were welcomed with glasses of champagne, which we quite appreciated. There was a half-bottle of red wine waiting in our room, too, which we were happy to drink while packing to leave the next night. Our stay was brief, and we spent most of our precious time in Paris out and about. The hotel was an excellent home base, though, centrally located and very comfortable. It was less fancy than the Park Hyatt, of course, but the lobby was attractive and our room was spacious and clean. It had a king bed and a sofa bed, where my three-year-old refused to sleep, instead jumping around and harassing me and once, picking up the clean underwear I'd set out for the morning and putting it on over his pants. Breakfast was included with our stay, and we took advantage of this by going down to Café M and feeding my children chocolate croissants before leaving the premises each morning. They also got room service one night while my friend and I went out for a grown-up dinner at Brasserie Pastis, an outstanding nearby restaurant recommended by the concierge. I'm sure the Park Hyatt would've been nice, but I was impressed by the Hyatt Madeleine, both the accommodations and the hospitable service. I'll bet it was a better fit for our group, too, what with the wild three-year-old. A great place to stay during an active trip to Paris.

My family was able to enjoy breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I still think about their delicious, soft scrambled eggs and fresh apple juice. The location was nice and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable. They were able to accommodate my late checkout, which was great because we had a later train departure. I took a direct flight from Los Angeles, while she took a flight from Madrid. I was going to land in Paris several hours after her, so I called the hotel to see if they could let her into the room before I got there. The staff told me that normally they require the person booking the room to be there in person with their credit card. However, they were able to generate a link where I was able to pay for the entire stay + safety deposit ahead of time. I gladly did so, and they were happy to let my girlfriend into the room a good 6 hours before I got there. Once I pulled up to the hotel, I checked in at the front desk. The attendant helped me with my bag, and the front desk worker showed me to my room. My girlfriend had already enjoyed the bath tub and some drinks. We had some hours to relax, before we headed out to dinner and to sight see. While the restaurant that we reserved (outside the hotel) let us down, the restaurant in house (The Lobby) took care of us well. The hotel surprised us by driving us to the Eiffel Tower in their Rolls Royce, a complementary service. We took some great photos around the tower, and in other locations, before being driver back to the hotel. The room was very nice, had a comfy bed, plenty of space, a nice bathtub, and a clean and modern look. There was a small balcony area with two seats and a small table overlooking the beautiful architecture of the surrounding buildings. The only downside is that the A/C was not up to par, but that is the only complaint I have about this place. The hotel staff went above and beyond for us. The experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel, if you're looking for a great time!
