First time at this hotel. Last time we stayed down the street at a different Hilton. Although our view is just the inside courtyard, I feel it cuts the street noise so we don't care. The room is lovely and we definitely enjoy the heated tile floor near the shower. The executive lounge is quiet has an assortment of snacks. This is definitely a hotel to return to for future travel as it's directly next to the train and metro station and isn't a far walk from anything.

Wow best Hilton we have stayed at in Paris! Concierge knowledgeable They booked 4 food experiences and all outstanding. Also booked my nephews great tour guide for louvre All staff we met outstanding. I took a tumble trying to get to executive lounge. 2 ladies working in breakfast area attended to me straight away. Brought me a ice pack and we're so fantastic

Like coffee? Too bad - the machine is broken.

This place STINKS! The smell in our room was so bad we had to change to another room, and the hotel refunded more than 400 euros because the odor was so foul. They charge luxury hotel prices but the place is overcrowded and unhygienic. Having breakfast at the hotel is like eating a meal on the subway. Coffee machines are mysteriously broken. Hotel staff watch idly as double cappuccinos overflow their mugs and spill onto the floor. Scary moms with screaming kids elbow other guests aside in a desperate fight for the last piece of smoked ham. If you want an elegant Paris experience this is simply not it.

The staff is nice, respectful and tries to be helpful. However, they are not very good at what they do. For example, I ran out of liquid soap in the bathroom and it took two days to refill. The hotel's hallways are worn and need to be renovated. The carpets in the common areas are heavily stained. Breakfast is included, but it is not particularly good (watery eggs, grisly ham and burnt sausages, for example). The bar on the main floor is very nice with very good service. The neighborhood is a bit on the seedy side with homeless panhandling and walking back and forth. However, it is located in a convenient area, so you can walk to major sites, which is a plus since traffic in Paris is horrendous.

Amazing Hotel. Booked Executive Lounge Room ~ worth the price. Breakfast was great, location was great and staff were friendly

This review is for the breakfast buffet only, we didn't stay at this hotel. We were on the hunt for a breakfast buffet on Christmas day and all of the small touristy breakfast shops were all closed. A short 20 minute walk from our hotel and we were glad we made the trek. Everyone spoke great English and were so welcoming. They cleared our plates, filled our beverages, and gave us chocolates when paying for our bill. Nice selection of Western items and some local fare as well. Fun spot that won't break the bank.

I arrived in Paris at 10:30am and my room was available 30 minutes after arrival so I sat in the bar and had a morning cocktail. The hotel is very beautiful, clean, with helpful staff. I only stayed 1 night and had a queen deluxe room. Breakfast was very delicious and many of things to chose from. I would stay here again on my next trip to Paris. It was lovely

The language barrier is a real thing! The front desk staff is well trained and speak fluent English, comparably. However, I had a difficult time communicating with the cleaning staff. (I have only experienced a similar challenge while staying at the Hilton in Seoul.) In Paris, I had asked for extra bar soap; the cleaning staff could not understand what I was trying to say. The cleaning staff first showed up with a towel. I then had to show them the actual bar soap, and they finally understood what I asked for. Not four stars because there is not a deadbolt for this hotel. If I remember it correctly, most Hilton locations offer a deadbolt. I understand the hotels are relatively old. The hotel receives so much traffic; I think it warrants such installation. The hotel location itself is great, there are SFR and a bakery next to the hotel. I believe it is 80 euros to purchase a new SIM card for calling in France/Europe. However, this particular SFR store only carries the cell phone + sim card combo. You cannot purchase the SIM card on its own. Hey, you get an extra cell phone for fun. This hotel is relatively easily accessible if you were to take the train here. Just make sure your Google Maps is working and can orient you towards the right direction. I circled the block twice, before identifying the exact hotel location. This is just a reminder for all Hilton hotels out there. Even though you can be approved for late check out at 1 PM, still reactivate your card before you go up to the room. They remove the card activation at noon on your check-out day. The room itself is small, but that is expected while traveling around Europe. Though small, it is still more massive than the hotel rooms in NYC. The bathroom is enormous, which I like. I also like the lobby; it is stunning and gorgeous. There is a simple business center at the back of the lobby with two Mac laptops. One is a French keyboard. The other has an English keyboard. I tried to use the computer once but had trouble connecting on Safari. I talked to the front desk staff, but they understandably couldn't do anything to help. I applaud for their effort, though. One front desk staff brought up this huge manual for troubleshooting the business center. They tried to fix it, but couldn't solve the problem.

Hilton Paris Opera is generally pretty expensive and can often reach €200-300 per night, but in the aftermath of the pandemic it became much more affordable, so I decided to stay here during my time in Paris and I was impressed with the conversion of such an old building into a stunning hotel which embodies the true spirit of both France & Hilton Hotels. The hotel let me knew everything I needed to know before my arrival in a welcome email, from Hilton Clean Stay to the COVID precautions in place. While the restaurant and Executive Lounge were closed, I'd still be able to enjoy my Honors benefits with a beer/wine in the Bar per day, soft drinks, tea or coffee, and breakfast in the morning. They also had no problem cleaning my room daily even though it is usually on request due to Covid-19. The beautiful lobby bar, Le Grand Salon would act as my de-facto lounge during my stay. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite and it was one of the best hotel rooms I've ever had. It was stunning, offered great views of the square featuring Gare Saint-Lazare, considering it was on the first floor it was tremendous how it offered great views and was quiet most of the time. I also loved the Paris themed decor and hand-drawn art on the wall. I liked the location too, it was in Opera, close to train and bus services and within walking distance of many parts of the city. You might want to take the 42 bus; which stops close to the hotel and goes to the Champs Elysee and Tour Eiffel. I loved the comfortable bed, numerous phones in the room as well as USB and local European plug sockets. They also had a fridge in the room, and one of the smartest safe's I've ever seen in a hotel. The Nespresso coffee machine came pre-loaded with water which was a simple yet amazing gesture. All the staff in the hotel seemed friendly and happy to help, most spoke great English. I was given a tasty cocktail on arrival with Passionfruit and rum, and I was told that in lieu of the executive lounge I would still get breakfast and one alcoholic drink of my choice at night, which was perfect. It really didn't feel like reduced services due to COVID at all, other than having to wear masks in public areas which are compulsory in France. As well as the welcome cocktail, I was given a welcome basket after a quick and simple check-in. This included water, pringles, wet towels and a few snacks. The hotel is like a maze especially at first, it's so easy to get lost in the corridors with many different lifts and cut-throughs. They just seemed to go above and beyond, I even had this amazing staff member come outside with me to help make sure I got in the station across the way, as it was late at night and many of the stations' entrances were closed. On the first morning, I was woken up by a banging noise, it became so unbearable I couldn't even remain in my room, it seemed upon checking with other staff members this was building work going on outside of the hotel, I've heard building work before in hotels and I've even had my house extended recently, and the sheer thudding is something I've never seen the likes of before. I was offered the chance to change rooms to a room at the back, I opted against it as it was a lower grade room and the noise was only slightly less. The Breakfast area is only accessed via steps at the minute, this is because the construction blocks the street entrance. People who can't handle the steps can request breakfast in their room (even though they don't normally do room service) or can eat in the lobby, again so much difficulty caused by construction which isn't even for the hotel. My breakfast was one of the best I've had outside of the UK, the omelette was cooked perfectly, the orange juice was fresh, the scrambled egg might have looked messy but was seasoned perfectly, so were the potatoes and the beans were pretty good considering how abysmal they can be outside of the UK. The second night of my stay was much better - not only was I not woken up by the construction noise but my pre-ordered Breakfast in bed was served on-time, it wasn't fully hot although they did an excellent job remembering my order and getting everything right, they kept my GF food separate from my friend's too, and considering they don't normally do room service and never have - that was a pretty good attempt. I also liked how 24 hours' notice was given ahead of a fire-drill with signs all around the hotel, it was planned at 12pm too so that is a reasonable time. They also had no problem in letting me have a generous late 2 pm checkout and the bar staff made me an excellent fresh ice tea when they ran out of the Fuze Tea bottles. This truly is one of the finest hotels I've stayed in and I can't think of many places more deserving of a five-star rating. Apart from a few small flaws, everything was immaculate from the service to the room. To be able to get five nights here for free, using my HHonors points is truly a blessing.

    Extremely comfy bed.

I have a love/hate relationship with Hilton Paris Opera. Flush with HHonors points, I spent tens of thousands on a brief two night stay here. The location is good, right across the street from a local train station and a couple of blocks away from several large department stores and restaurants. My room was beautifully appointed and extremely spacious, with a huge shower and heated marble floors in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and the hotel's common areas absolutely gorgeous. The problem I had was with the windows in my room. I was traveling in the shoulder season which means it's not that cold outside yet the hotel is still in winter mode and has the heat blaring. I was literally sitting in my room with sweat dripping all over. My room had two large windows (one that looked out on a gorgeous balcony) but they were latched shut, rendering the balcony unusable. Why would a hotel do that? What's more romantic than a private balcony in Paris? Two calls down to the front desk and three employees later, it was determined that the window in the bedroom (the balcony one) was totally sealed shut couldn't be opened. This made for a VERY miserable and uncomfortably warm two nights with very little (and only restless) sleep. Luckily we were able to shimmy the bathroom window open a little bit (it still had a latch to prevent it from opening fully) for some relief, but our bedroom remained far too hot. I would stay here again but only when the a/c is running or if I was guaranteed a room where the windows actually open wide. I was in misery from the heat. I am not exaggerating. It's a shame because this is such a gorgeous hotel. As a Diamond member, I had access to the Executive Lounge, which was a real disappointment with this property. You'd think with such glamorous opulence elsewhere that the lounge would be first class. It's not. It's a too small room with lame snacks. Granted, I didn't come to Paris to eat hotel food but the breakfast in particular was borderline embarrassing. Store bought croissants, a few meats, cheeses, and lame juices that weren't worth the calories.

Yes, you have to pay extra to get rooms with Eiffel Tower view but we found it to be worth it. We enjoyed waking up to the view in the morning and admiring its glittering lights in the evening. That rate has since climbed to 75,000 points, and I don't think any of us are likely to go back for all that. This was a free stay for me and my crew, so let me start by saying the hotel was generally very nice. The location was excellent, central and close to transit, and the common areas were opulent and attractive. Everyone I interacted with on staff was polite and helpful, and housekeeping did good work. I also appreciated the complimentary wine and chocolates left in our room, and the breakfast and dinner at the lobby restaurant. My brothers and I had rooms on the 4th floor, while my parents were in a suite on the 6th. My room had a king bed and room for a rollaway, which my kids took turns sleeping in when they weren't just piling onto our bed. The rooms were comfortable and upscale, if more in line with 45,000 points than 75,000. No wow factor, and some things felt weird and old. The outlet situation wasn't great. There were no adaptors, and there were a couple USB ports, but they were for smartphone cables from like five years ago. The lighting was also nuts. We wanted to turn off most of the lights when our kids went to bed, but keep one on so we could hang out in the room. There was legit no way to do this, and we sat in the dark rather than have spotlights keeping our kids awake. These are minor complaints, which I might have ignored if not for my big complaint: the planned power outage on the last night of our stay. We were not notified of this outage in advance of our trip, and only learned about it through a printed letter left in our room. The power outage was scheduled for between midnight and 4:30 in the morning, an we found out about it when we returned to the hotel after midnight and learned the elevators weren't running. We walked up the stairs and spent the night in an overheated room with no electricity in the middle of July. It was really unpleasant. When we woke up, we learned the electricity was still partially out, and neither of our phones had charged. My husband's phone was dead, and he went downstairs to get it charged and complain to the front desk. He told them that the hotel shouldn't have been open for business, and they offered to refund my mom 45,000 points, the cost of our room for that night. This was a good start, but only accounted for one of our four rooms. When we compared notes with my mom, we also learned that a hotel employee had opened the door to our room that night while she was in there watching our sleeping children. He didn't announce himself until she asked who he was and chased him out, and when she inquired with management about what happened, they told her we'd requested help with a safe. This wasn't true, but they acted like it was, and were generally dismissive and unapologetic. My mom ended up emailing management about all of the above, and they were, overall, dismissive and unapologetic. At some point, they did quietly give her the 45,000 points promised to my husband, but there was no other acknowledgment that she had been inconvenienced. As my husband pointed out, the hotel wasn't fit to be occupied that night, and there must have been a meeting to discuss whether or not to close for business. Management must have decided that would be too expensive, and that the letter would be sufficient. Look, I'm not a difficult customer, and I certainly don't go around complaining about fancy hotels. But our Park Hyatt experience was a solid B. I wouldn't recommend it, especially not at the new rate.

We arrived in Paris by train, traveling with my small boys and a big piece of luggage, and took the subway to Place de l'Opéra, a mildly arduous journey. We walked to the hotel and tried to check in, only to learn that the Park Hyatt would not accommodate us unless we upgraded to a much larger, much more expensive room (we'd neglected to mention the two children in our party when we booked). After much back-and-forth, my mom booked us a room at the Hyatt Madeleine, a more reasonable hotel that still gave us the benefits of her Hyatt status. It was supposedly a short walk from the Hyatt, but we spent a good twenty minutes schlepping across Paris with the children and luggage. (Very grateful to my saintly friend Ava B., who offered key support as a third adult in this unruly party.) Which is all to say, I loved this hotel the minute we walked in, reaching our destination an hour and a half after arriving in Paris. There was a half-bottle of red wine waiting in our room, too, which we were happy to drink while packing to leave the next night. Our stay was brief, and we spent most of our precious time in Paris out and about. The hotel was an excellent home base, though, centrally located and very comfortable. It was less fancy than the Park Hyatt, of course, but the lobby was attractive and our room was spacious and clean. It had a king bed and a sofa bed, where my three-year-old refused to sleep, instead jumping around and harassing me and once, picking up the clean underwear I'd set out for the morning and putting it on over his pants. Breakfast was included with our stay, and we took advantage of this by going down to Café M and feeding my children chocolate croissants before leaving the premises each morning. They also got room service one night while my friend and I went out for a grown-up dinner at Brasserie Pastis, an outstanding nearby restaurant recommended by the concierge. I'm sure the Park Hyatt would've been nice, but I was impressed by the Hyatt Madeleine, both the accommodations and the hospitable service. I'll bet it was a better fit for our group, too, what with the wild three-year-old. A great place to stay during an active trip to Paris.

I'm a globalists and was checking the available rooms leading up to my stay and knew that they were fairly booked. Despite that the hotel was still able to give me a really good upgrade to a premium king room from my standard queen room. They were able to allow me early check-in and my room had some great wine and cake to welcome my stay and birthday. I just appreciate how much thought and effort they put to make my stay memorable. My family was able to enjoy breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I still think about their delicious, soft scrambled eggs and fresh apple juice. The location was nice and peaceful. The beds were super comfortable. They were able to accommodate my late checkout, which was great because we had a later train departure. The staff during breakfast were offering me some bags to take out pastries for our journey, which was so nice. I would not hesitate to return to this location when traveling back to Paris.

Our guest relations liaison, Laura, went above and beyond to make our stay so special and unforgettable. The service we received from Thomas and the staff at the Bar 19.20 was second to none, and the food was simply amazing. From the starters to the mains to the deserts. Even if we were not staying at the hotel I would still make dinner reservations there while in Paris. The location is perfect. Only a few blocks away from the Champs de Elysee in one direction, and then a quick 2 minute walk down the street in the other direction to find cozy cafes with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. I have been to 72 countries and stayed at a number of higher end hotels but I found the Prince de Galles to be truly exceptional. It is not a cheap hotel by any means, but you definitely get what you pay for and it is certainly worth the money in my opinion. We will definitely be returning there on next trip to Paris.

The staff were all very helpful and spoke great English as well! The moment our Uber pulled up at the front door, two door staff dressed perfectly, started removing our luggage and another staff member met us at the door to walk us to the check-in counter. Emma, the lady who checked us in was flawless at checking us in! I've never experienced such a thorough check-in process, which included describing amenities, the property, welcoming me and acknowledging my status, and then actually taking us up the elevator and to our room to ensure we were happy with the room - This was OUTSTANDING service!!! The concierge staff is friendly and was very helpful during our stay, providing great suggestions for food and handling other questions we had, such as how to best handle the train we needed to take, etc. The location of this hotel is perfectly walkable and is an equal distance to the Eiffel Tower or the L'arc de Triomphe. It's a block from the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. We only needed to use Uber to get to an area a few miles away, but otherwise, we walked everywhere. The room was very comfortable, perfectly adorned and nicely embellished with great attention to detail... including the mosaic tile in the bathroom! Everything was clean and spotless and stayed that way throughout our stay with housekeeping taking care of it daily and offering turndown service. Such an excellent stay was had here, we will definitely stay here when returning to Paris!!

My girlfriend was on a girl's trip to Europe, and we planned to meet up in Paris for a weekend…read moreduring that time. I took a direct flight from Los Angeles, while she took a flight from Madrid. I was going to land in Paris several hours after her, so I called the hotel to see if they could let her into the room before I got there. The staff told me that normally they require the person booking the room to be there in person with their credit card. However, they were able to generate a link where I was able to pay for the entire stay + safety deposit ahead of time. I gladly did so, and they were happy to let my girlfriend into the room a good 6 hours before I got there. Once I pulled up to the hotel, I checked in at the front desk. The attendant helped me with my bag, and the front desk worker showed me to my room. My girlfriend had already enjoyed the bath tub and some drinks. We had some hours to relax, before we headed out to dinner and to sight see. While the restaurant that we reserved (outside the hotel) let us down, the restaurant in house (The Lobby) took care of us well. The hotel surprised us by driving us to the Eiffel Tower in their Rolls Royce, a complementary service. We took some great photos around the tower, and in other locations, before being driver back to the hotel. The room was very nice, had a comfy bed, plenty of space, a nice bathtub, and a clean and modern look. There was a small balcony area with two seats and a small table overlooking the beautiful architecture of the surrounding buildings. The only downside is that the A/C was not up to par, but that is the only complaint I have about this place. The hotel staff went above and beyond for us. The experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel, if you're looking for a great time!
