I wish they had the option to sub fries for the bubbles $5 fries, similar texture I think to McDonald's but a little more crispy and less salty, they were nice $21 chicken lettuce wraps, not enough lettuce for the wraps to finish the filling. The chicken here was so little, I think there were about 6 one inch pieces. The dish was quite sweet. I liked the peanuts it gave it good texture and flavour. $9 The goyoza was a little bland, and tasted like it came out of the freezer. Total $68 and change +tax and tip. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I probably would skip happy hour and just go to their regular menu next time.

Three sangrias may have been consumed before happy hour wrapped up. No regrets. Tragedy struck when I discovered my beloved Cobb salad has been removed from the menu. I pivoted to the katsu chicken salad, which was fine but couldn't fill the Cobb-shaped hole in my heart. My mom, however, was thrilled with her Mediterranean salad. The ambiance was lively as always, and our server was friendly and helpful with solid recommendations. The food was good, the vibe was great, and we made it to our show on time. I'll be back, but I'm still mourning that Cobb salad.

During happy hour, my pregnant wife wanted to order the cheeseburger special that included a beer or glass of wine. She asked if she could substitute the alcoholic drink for a fountain drink instead, but our server was very firm that no substitutions were allowed. What made it even more confusing was that the hostess at the front was incredibly kind and proactive, offering a non-alcoholic alternative to the complimentary champagne. Because of that, it felt odd that swapping an alcoholic beverage for what would likely be a less expensive fountain drink wasn't possible. The food was good, as always, and we still enjoyed our meal. It was just the rigidity around such a simple request that took away from the overall experience. Especially as we were celebrating our last date night before our new baby arrived. Hopefully it's something the restaurant considers in the future, especially for guests who are pregnant or simply don't drink alcohol.

During happy hour, I wanted to order the cheeseburger special that came with a beer or glass of wine. Since I'm pregnant, I asked our server if I could substitute the alcoholic drink for a fountain drink instead. I was surprised by how firm the response was that no substitutions were allowed. What made the situation feel even more unusual was that the hostess at the front was so kind and accommodating, offering me a non-alcoholic alternative to the champagne when we arrived. Because of that, it was disappointing that a simple swap from an alcoholic beverage to a fountain drink couldn't be accommodated, especially since the fountain drink would likely be a lower-cost option. That being said, our server was kind enough to offer us a complimentary cheesecake to celebrate our upcoming baby, which was a very thoughtful gesture and genuinely appreciated. The food was still good, as it usually is at Joey's, and we enjoyed our meal overall. However, the lack of flexibility over such a small request left a bit of a negative impression and took away from what could have been an even better experience.

We arrived at 6:30pm on Friday night. It was not too busy. More like families around, some tables were couples. We ordered this special. The shared App was Four Cheese Spinach dips, we chose the baked chips. Pretty good portion. The mains we got Alfredo Pasta with choice of Shrimp. Reasonable portion, cheesy and tasty, but original price was $19.99. Another main was Mediterranean Salmon (extra $4 for this dish), it was rice at the bottom and cooked Salmon. I like cooked fish, not fishy. Let's do it. We love that. The shared dessert was a piece of white chocolate cheesecake with choice of dark Chocolate or caramel on the top. It was too sweet for us. It was not too busy, but my water not got refilled, and the waitress was hard to find her when we needed. Based on the price and the food, here was still a good place to come.

In the blackened chicken alfredo the chicken was very overcooked almost to a point it seemed burnt so it was really hard to chew. The pasta itself was fine though. We really liked the tacos and thought it was great for $6 each during the happy hour. Their spicy margarita was also quite good. The steak frites were nothing crazy it was just average. Both were loaded with fresh toppings notably the chunks of avocado, cabbage, chili avocado aioli. They were messy but couldn't help myself licking my fingers. The fish was a bit small but for $6 in this economy who's complaining? The chili lime chicken taco was also a standout as well. The parmesan fries were covered in salty bits of parmesan and the garlic aioli dipping sauce was just divine. The service was friendly and professional.
