She talked through every one of my concerns and ultimately helped me achieve the exact birth plan I had hoped for. I believe I healed very quickly because of some of her decisions. Her office, though, is very, very challenging to work with. That said (and maybe sadly), it started getting a little easier to work with them once the $300 office fee started getting charged and patients started leaving. Still, they were very challenging and often lacked compassion for other women I saw who were struggling with very serious issues. But in any event, almost all OB back offices suck, so you might as well go with Dr. Barnes. She is the absolute best.

She then proceeded to tell me I didn't understand the female reproductive system and told me I needed to be on oral birth control. She ignored me when I explained why for my mental health that was no longer an option for me. This was all very disappointing coming from a young woman.. if this were someone of a previous generation or a man it would have still be upsetting, but more expected. I have never left a review of any business before..but I don't want another woman going to her and having a similar experience, especially given the vulnerable nature of her specialty.

I then had to pay for an HSG and a hysteroscopy to assess the damage. I am indeed missing my right fallopian tube. I was told they'd reimburse me for those, but I'd have to submit it through insurance. I can't bring myself to go through this process. So I'm posting my experience as a warning to other women. This botched procedure was performed on NYE of 2024, and I still have pain. I still feel intense anger when I think about how the doctor chuckled that I'd still be able to get pregnant through IVF when I was crying that I was worried I'd never be able to get pregnant again.

Getting a hold of someone whenever I have questions have never been easier. Not only do they pickup the phone call in a timely manner, but I was never in a longer hold. A few instances happened when they were busy, but that's understandable. I am always able to message them through my portal. Anything urgent, they are on top of it. Luckily I only had 2 events when this happened. From getting my labs to any test I needed, this clinic had been a breeze! I've called several other clinics before finding out about FOWH and the rest either never pickup or they're so disorganized and unhelpful during a phone consult. The sonographers that we've had were always kind, timely and helpful. We have had some questions and they're so wonderful in addressing them. Biggest shoutout to our Dr. Mitri. He is empathetic, highly knowledgeable and is just a good human being. He pays attention to every detail, he doesn't miss any question we have and he's very good at responding to our out-of-office messages/questions. His bedside manners are exceptional. He is respectful, has a good sense of humor and does his job really well. We're so happy to be a patient at FOWH and we appreciate the staff for being great! We look forward to every visit we have.

I just had my first and probably last appointment with this woman, and I am not wanting to complain. Not only were her forms out of date (I do not know my emergency contact's DL nor SS nor do I need to), but the copay was a raging $70. When I asked the kind specialist to specify if she indeed mean 7-0, she replied with, "Yes, she's a specialist." Of what, I don't know. Naturally, as I was raised right, I hopped off the medical table when she came in to shake her hand, which she received backwards with the incorrect hand. Mind you, I did the same while leaving the office, and she completely ignored my shake which I held out for probably ten seconds. One of the first questions she asked me in the office (not even a "how are you?") was, "At what age do you think it is appropriate to have children? This is not a trick question." I expressed I do not want children, to which she said that that would contribute to a declining birth rate.... isn't that basic knowledge? Please read the room, where in 2026, not all women are born to birth kids. She interlocked her own political opinions throughout the visit, which is unprofessional (I understand you're frazzled and hold your medical degree close to your heart). Not only this, but when I mentioned that I prefer Eastern over Western medicine she made a bit of a glaring face, but I disclose that to all of my doctors. Oops! :-) She had diagrams from the 90's explaining birth control and anatomy to me as if I didn't know I was a woman. I could go on, and I will if asked, but super demeaning and pressurized situation. Rude. *D/Dee was a gem, and the only not robotic person besides the receptionist who cracked open humanely a bit when I told her I did not wish to fill an adult Chicken Pox order "The Doc" had prescribed. I've been dealing with hormonal imbalance for the past four months. I'm currently with Kaiser and have seen nine different doctors, most of whom suggested anti-anxiety or antidepressant medication. However, I knew something deeper was going on. What I initially thought were panic attacks at night turned out to be hot flashes. I often felt dismissed and unheard, which was incredibly frustrating. My wife helped me research other options, and that's when we found Thrive. After reading so many positive reviews, I felt hopeful that I had finally found a place where I would be seen and heard. My first visit with the doctor was positive. She listened to my concerns and ordered bloodwork. However, after completing my labs, I had difficulty getting a follow-up appointment. My calls were not returned, and I eventually had to use the emergency text number just to get a response. I was told I had a phone appointment scheduled at 11 AM, but I never received a call. When I followed up, they offered me an in-person appointment later that day, which I accepted. During that visit, the doctor reviewed my labs and told me a pharmacist would contact me the next day to start testosterone treatment. Unfortunately, I never received that call. I want to be clear that I'm not trying to be difficult, but dealing with hormonal issues has significantly impacted my quality of life. I've been experiencing sleepless nights, restlessness, irritability, bladder issues, and an overall sense that I'm not functioning at my best. Given that this is an out-of-pocket service, the lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. I've since called and emailed multiple times without any response. Additionally, when you call their office, it goes straight to a generic voicemail that doesn't clearly identify the business, and messages are not returned. It feels like you have to constantly follow up just to get basic communication and even then, responses are inconsistent. I also want to add that I typically don't write reviews like this. However, if you are struggling the way I have been, I wouldn't want another woman to go through what I've experienced. I truly believe women should support one another and take each other's concerns seriously, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.

I have been going to Dr. Jennifer Park for approximately five years doing HRT. I have nothing…read morepersonal against Dr. Park in writing this review: rather. I feel compelled to express my utter dismay for this most recent visit/experience dated 4/2/2026. My last visit was 11/2025. In all my years dealing with Dr. Park, she and Maria would administer the pallet insertion at Dr. Park's very high fee no matter who was doing it. Each pallet ranged between 30-60 dollars-so my bills previously would be well over 500.00 per visit. In every past visit as far back as the beginning of time, her insertion fee was 350.00. On 11/18/2025, I paid her 350.00 insertion fee and the same usual pallet fees of 200.00 for a grand total of 550.00 every 4 months or so. At no time between my last appointment and the completion of this appointment 4/2/2026 was I ever informed of rate increases and pallet increases. I feel deeply disgusted by this shock that came over me upon paying after the pallets were inserted by Dr Park. At no time was I called or told: the insertion fees have increased by 50.00; pallet fees increased each by 5 dollars; & at no time was I informed that another doctor in the office now performs the insertion for 25 dollars less than what Dr. Park charges. Had I been provided this information before my appointment, I would have made very different decisions about even visiting with Dr. Park at all. I wasn't afforded that opportunity and I resent being treated this way after many years of being Dr. Park's patient. For one thing, I may have decided to go elsewhere to a less expensive clinic in a different county entirely, I would have at the very least asked to see the other doctor, whose name suddenly appeared on my most recent invoice as "jennifer-375.00/Park-400.00" which had never appeared in previous invoices. Again, Maria who used to administer for Dr Park was the same exact charge of 350.00. During this most recent visit, I even went down a full dose of one of the pallets, saving myself that charge of an extra 50 dollars. I got to the counter and I was expecting my bill to be 550.00 minus 50.00 for a pallet I didn't use but instead the invoice presented to me was 610.00!!!! I was in shock, not being given the change or notified ahead of the rate increases and different options to take. At the very least they should compensate me for that up-charge for not informing me before entering this visit of such huge increases and that there was in fact a doctor on site who charges less than Dr. Park for the pallet insertion. I expressed all of this at the counter for payment-but it was incredibly awkward moment that no patient should have to experience with other clients behind me waiting to pay their bill. This wasn't right, not handled correctly. This review isn't personal against Dr. Park, but even my husband stopped going to get pallets because he felt there was a money making disingenuous overtone to his experiences and after I got ER/PR positive stage 1 breast cancer two years ago, that also freaked him out to the pallet experience knowing estrogen, hormone therapy feeds cancer, may not cause it but it most certainly plays a huge factor that completely shocked me at the time being on estrogen, progesterone, testosterone pallet/therapy under Dr. Park. Of course, once diagnosed I had to stop estrogen and progesterone immediately. But even with that whole process I went through, I stuck with Dr. Park for testosterone pallets and DIM pallets with my medical oncologist overseeing these decisions. I really wish my most recent visit had not been the most awkward/unpleasant moment of any doctor's visit I have ever had. I wasn't afforded the opportunity ahead of time to make other financial decisions about pallet care. That's just not okay. I do want to say Maria and the front desk staff are super sweet people, doing their jobs well and have always been very kind, again this isn't personal.....
