I hired Evolution Moving for a whole-house move on May 21…read more Before the move, I explained the contents of the house during the estimate process so they could estimate the scope. On moving day, I emailed additional instructions because I would be unavailable by phone. I provided my partner's contact information and specifically requested that all garage items be packed and moved. Daniel Rios confirmed that everything was received and that the movers would contact my partner before leaving the house. Around 11 a.m., my move-out cleaning crew informed me that a substantial amount of property was still in the house. My partner had not received the load-up call, and I had not received any updates from Evolution. After I contacted the company, I was told only a few open boxes had been left behind. When my partner arrived at the new apartment later that afternoon, the garage contents were missing and fewer items had been delivered than expected. The crew stated they had not been instructed to move anything else. When I contacted Evolution again, I was told there had been a misunderstanding. I was then offered a separate two-person crew to complete the move, but only as a new move with additional charges. When I arrived at the apartment that evening, I discovered that the dining room, kitchen boxes, and entire garage had never been moved. My friends and I ended up completing the move ourselves. It took three days and six truckloads. Afterward, I found that beds had been placed in the wrong rooms and not assembled, furniture had been left partially disassembled, room-labeled boxes had been piled in the kitchen, furniture had been scratched, and the hardware for my son's bed was missing. Justin Rodriguez later located the missing screws in the back of the truck, though some were badly bent. I emailed Daniel seeking a response and he replied with a completely ai-generated email blaming me for the misunderstanding. To Justin's credit, he came to my apartment on his day off to help move furniture into the correct rooms and assemble it. Throughout this entire process, he was the only person who consistently communicated with me and attempted to help resolve the situation. What ultimately disappointed me most was the lack of accountability. I repeatedly had to initiate communication myself, and after the move I called the owner every day for a week and left a voicemail seeking a resolution. My calls were never returned. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evolution Moving.

The experience started off nice and ended horrifically. Samuel, the agent was hard to get in touch…read morewith trying to arrange. I would send email and left voicemails concerning the contract and that should have been my sign to back out. I arranged to have packers and movers. I expected Bellhop to show up and I am assuming Bellhop is a broker and contracted Robles Moving. The packers showed up on time and brought only 6 wardrobe boxes for a full 1 bedroom packing. Of course Samuel was not returning any phone calls, but the movers called their manager and Samuel put this down and all I would need. I had to wait 2 hours while one of the workers went back to the warehouse to get more boxes. The movers did not check the closets and ran out of boxes. I then have to go to Home Depot for more boxes. They folded my hanging clothes and put them in a small box instead of using the wardrobe boxes I brought. The movers wasted the garment boxes on a hodge podge of items. To think I gave the movers rugs that I didn't want a beverages to drink and to be done like this is absurd. Now onto the mover. I had to double check behind them twice because they were going to leave things. (Which they left my step ladder). Stringing at my new apartment they scratch up the from door and laid my bicycle again the wall which resulted in marks and a gash in the wall. The some of the boxes were mixed with everything. The movers scratched my wood tv stand, broke my bookshelf in to places and scratched the hardwood floors. I would not wish this company on my enemies.

The crews were amazing and they ran almost the entire time. I have used them for apartment and house moves. They are now under new ownership and it shows. They showed up and got started but don't have the right tools to break down the single bed. I had to provide tools, but they they still stripped out the screws on the bed frame and I had to finish, so it didn't get any worse. The same thing happened for the table, they didn't have the right tools and stripped the screws. I had asked them to wrap the furniture and tvs as this was all going into a storage. They had wrap but ran out after wrapping 2 pieces as they only brought a single roll that was almost out. Everything was boxed and ready aside from the furniture, This was a 1 bedroom apt that was 700+ sq feet. They took 6 hours and $900 to move a 1 bedroom apartment. I had a 2 story 2800 sq foot house moved by the previous crews in 5 hrs and paid significantly less. They did a really poor job of unloading into the storage. I have boxes that are being crushed and have already had to rent another unit to unpack and repack correctly. The last part of these transaction was a problem also. As i was paying with a credit card i was told that there is a 3% additional fee. I was advised I should have been told when i booked that cc had an additional fee. Seeing as my checks were packed I got stuck with the fee. After a much longer than normal move, much higher cost, and unprepared movers I would definitely not recommend anyone using them again.
