The experience started off nice and ended horrifically. Samuel, the agent was hard to get in touch…read morewith trying to arrange. I would send email and left voicemails concerning the contract and that should have been my sign to back out. I arranged to have packers and movers. I expected Bellhop to show up and I am assuming Bellhop is a broker and contracted Robles Moving. The packers showed up on time and brought only 6 wardrobe boxes for a full 1 bedroom packing. Of course Samuel was not returning any phone calls, but the movers called their manager and Samuel put this down and all I would need. I had to wait 2 hours while one of the workers went back to the warehouse to get more boxes. The movers did not check the closets and ran out of boxes. I then have to go to Home Depot for more boxes. They folded my hanging clothes and put them in a small box instead of using the wardrobe boxes I brought. The movers wasted the garment boxes on a hodge podge of items. To think I gave the movers rugs that I didn't want a beverages to drink and to be done like this is absurd. Now onto the mover. I had to double check behind them twice because they were going to leave things. (Which they left my step ladder). Stringing at my new apartment they scratch up the from door and laid my bicycle again the wall which resulted in marks and a gash in the wall. The some of the boxes were mixed with everything. The movers scratched my wood tv stand, broke my bookshelf in to places and scratched the hardwood floors. I would not wish this company on my enemies.

I then was told I ONLY HAD 48 hours to make a claim. I was in disbelief this company policy. I never saw any documentation informing me about the time frame .I spent 30 yrs in the military so I know about movers and I am aware that there is always going to be maybe some scratches on your furniture when moving ,,,,,,,but this company completely damaged every single piece of furniture I have !!!! Scratches , pieces of wood just off my dining set and my entertainment center as well . My bedroom set has the scratches and wood chip of the knife the employee was using to take off the tape they put on it to cover the top . I was so upset I was crying in anger !!!!! I called the BBB and they have no knowledge of accreditation for this company . On the day of the move this company doesn't even have a truck , it is a U Haul truck they come in and load your household goods with barely any padding or cover . I had no idea this was going to be this way !!!! This was my 1st and worst experience I have ever had with a moving company in my life !!!

Im glad I did because I ended up packing ahead of schedule and he and the team were able to get my move done a day early with one day notice from me. I will say the crew (not Brandon) did start to get tired and off track toward the end but ended up completing about 30 minutes ahead schedule of my quoted price. I fear if we would have only had two movers we wouldn't have been able to get it done in 6 hours. (3 Br 2 Bath 1600 sq foot house) All to say, three movers was the right call for this size project. Thanks!

Let me tell you that searching for the right moving company is like the Amazon jungle! There are…read moreso many companies out there, and they're all practically all 5 star. Man! What can be your criteria!??? Well, it was a close one for me. In the beginning I just went ahead and booked the company at the top of the search. Yes, very polite, but I was about to go into a trap without knowing it, let me explain later.... My gut instincts though told me to keep searching. I then read the reviews arduously, decided to give the underdogs at the end of the list the first look. 1. When I came upon On the Mark, he didn't even answer! But, that could be a good thing that they don't have overhead, that the owner is out there working and not behind a desk. 2. He was so accommodating: he already had 2 moves that day!!! Instead of being cut and dry, he interviewed me instead to find out if they can make it happen; they did! 3. Now, this will sound strange, but he used a vocabulary word that only people who read books used. He used it non pretentiously, naturally with a correct application. He wasn't educated with higher learning, so, I guess I was intrigued as to what type of books there were. That will be for later. Now, I save the later and best and last. The "trap" that I was about to fall into was the other company was only going to send 2 guys and one truck first thing in the morning. On the Mark had 5 guys and 2 trucks; yes, even the owner was there working! These guys are so organized and diligent! Even so, it still took 5 hours to complete the move. OMG! The other company would of took twice as long, and the bill would of been $700 more. I'm so relieved I cautiously spotted the snare of over commercializing and the pretentious facade they portray.... Now yes, I finally found out the "book" they all read: the Bible. It was a pleasant trajectory of discovery. Seeing a bunch of "brothers" up in my crib, I thought they would like some rap music. They kindly asked me to change the genere to something more appropriate. Going on, everyone's demeanor was so meek and humble! When the owner stepped away and I stepped in to help manage, there was no grunt, "don't tell me what to do" recalcitrant behavior at all. They actually looked to me for direction! One visceral aspect you just can't describe in words is the glow you see in their eyes that can only come from a higher power. Little did I know that they really are BROTHERS: they're all the same immediate family. Like, they didn't say "cuz", but "cousin", with no urban dialect. They also belong to a very devout Christian religion. Just how devout? Let me tell you that I had one remaining $20 bill and wasn't sure who was left. I asked the manager if they will be honest; he just looked at me with that smile. All 5 came forward and told me that Nate was the only one left. What honesty! Yes, this is the type you can trust with your children and belongings; and your money! My only critique was a that I believe their name just doesn't do them justice. I would refer to them as: Five Guys Making Moving Strive. Let me tell you: the only other place you'll get five guys for their hourly rate is an employment agency!; no further explanation needed: best deal and best moving experience you'll ever have! If you read this whole review, there's nothing else left but to hit that call button... nothing else.
