I used this company for both packing and moving everything into my U-Haul truck, and both teams did a great job overall in a very timely fashion. The 2 packers completed the job in 3.5 hours, and I had a 900 sq. ft. one bedroom, split level condo full of items to pack. The total was about $500 including tip. It was worth the labor, but the cost of the boxes seemed way too high. I had maybe 3 dozen boxes, and the cost for them was $118. I also got charged for their trip out (I assume gas), which was nominal, just unexpected as not part of the original $300 quote. The actual boxes were packed very efficiently though, and they even offered to pack some stuff in my own suitcases and bags to avoid using more boxes to save a few dollars. They also told me that leaving my clothes in dry clean bags for protection can actually make me sick because the chemicals from the bags get into clothes after time, so that was a nice tip! The movers included a group of 5 guys, which made the process very quick and efficient! They completed in 2 hours, and it was a lot of work to move everything out, down a long hallway, down an elevator of 16 floors, down another long hallway, and out to the U-Haul truck! They also packed my U-Haul so tightly that when I dropped off a lot of boxes at storage and took the rest of them to my new home, they didn't move an inch and stayed in place! These guys worked hard and did an excellent job. I paid $500 including a $100 tip ($20 for each guy). I was able to pay both teams on-site with credit card, so that helped. It's tough to find good people to handle your stuff, so I would definitely use this company again!

On Sunday, I was told it was going to have to be moved to Tuesday. It just so happened that I was going to be out of town on Tuesday and couldn't receive the second part of the move. I was told that would be rescheduled at my convenience. The bulk of the move did actually happen on Tuesday. When the day came for the second part of the move to happen, which was only a bed and a grandfather clock, I got put off again, from Saturday to Sunday. And on Sunday, right at the end of the agreed-upon window, I got a call asking for more money to complete the job. I was informed that because of my inability to receive the second part of the move on Tuesday, I was going to have to pay more. No matter that I was available to receive it Saturday, Sunday, and even Monday if that had been an option. The delay was not due to any action on my part and was actually very stressful for me. Yet I was at fault for not being available on Tuesday at the second location. My big mistake was not reading enough reviews before hiring this company. Although they have some good reviews, and I have no doubt they can do a good job, several other people have reported having issues similar to what I experienced. Had I seen those accounts I probably would have looked for someone else to do the move. I do not recommend this company for your moving needs.

The day of moving, I got a text that said they were going to $75 more because my couch bad to be taken down ONE flight of stairs which i already disclosed when I got my quote. After going back and forth they waived since $75 wasn't in my quote During the move-in, I was told I owed the remaing $75 + $175 because it's $175/hr! Despite what I was told over the phone, I indeed missed an email stating it was $175/hr 2hr minimum which makes no sense I have never in my life paid over $180 for a move-in and even those included loading and unloading and this move did not. Mike, the manager/owner said no movers would ever do it for that low of an amount. Mike became unprofessional, yelled and threatened to send his crew home even though my items were literally in the hallway, on the elevator and outside my door. I have a video that shows how they left items in the elevator w/o supervision as if the other mover was a drive thru picking up boxes at the speed of light. I have a video of me moving my own items so that they wouldnt be stolen, Mike had me move 6 chairs that were on the quote because his crew was tired and it was getting late, which means they didnt even move everything they were supposed to and i basically overpayed. My contract says their arrival window was from 8-10am, which then changed to 11-3. They did show up until 5:30pm!!!!! After being charged the remaining balance on my card and the rest in cash, including a tip, I was charged a miscellaneous fee of $20.50! This is a horrible company!!! Worst move ever!!
